What a charming place. The staff are terrific, my single room was a good size, spotlessly clean, excellent water pressure, lovely decor. The breakfast and breakfast room are delightful. The courtyard and pool are serene and verdant. The pool is the right temperature and perfect for a mini swim. The location is just steps to the main square. I would stay here again and again.

The bathrooms are a little tired, but the garden and pool are beautiful and its a great place to relax. Flowers everywhere. If you go up to the roof balcony, you can see a panorama of all of San Miguel with the Parroquia right in front of you. Hotel staff were very helpful. The woman who served us breakfast every morning was a joy to interact with. Such a nice person. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is in el Centro, up the hill and an easy walk to the plaza, the Parroquia, the abundant restraurants, and various shopping opportunities, as well as the parks. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the arts district (Colonia Guadalupe). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was amazing! You need to know some spanish to get around but the concierge was fluent in english. We love the architecture, the streets, the shops. Everything! This hotel has a wonderful breakfast, daily housekeeping and even massages! We will definitely come back to here!😀

Beautiful authentic hotel, helpful, friendly staff. Well kept luscious gardens, grounds & swimming pool. Water, tea & coffee available all day in the shared courtyard. Beautiful room & bathroom, comfortable bed. Included Breakfast okay, but dining room staff not able to explain the options very well, however sufficient for a small breakfast.

This place was wonderful! We spent 3 nights (wife, 7/9 year old kids) and loved our time there. The courtyard/pool area is beautiful and relaxing. The hotel is PERFECTLY located within steps of all the desirable spots in San Miguel, yet a block or two away from any loud noise. We found the staff to be very attentive, helpful and welcoming, and Betty did a lovely job of running breakfast for the guests.||The hotel features an amazing rooftop patio with views of the neighboring bull ring, and all the famous sights of San Miguel. A real stunning experience.||Our suite was enormous, in a good way, with a totally seperate living room and kitchen. The bathroom wasn't great, but it was totally clean and functional. Yes the place is old, but that's the point! The beds and linens were very nice, and we slept great despite not having AC (plenty of fans).

This place is extremely beautiful. I am in love with the colors and the room was lovely. The pool is nice, and heated. The little courtyard was lovely! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. It was stunning and within walking distance to downtown. Breakfast was truly delicious.

Loved every thing about this Hacienda, the location works, beds super comfortable and the service is very helpful. The decor, gardens, and layout all works. Super quiet with an inviting pool. There is no ac, but an extra fan did the trick. Daily breakfast is basic and does the job. Overall its good value. $$&

Hacienda de Las Flores is a beautiful hotel, centrally located, just two blocks from El Jardin. What I loved most was how quiet it was. Gael who works at the Front Desk has the sweetest personality and was very kind and helpful, as were the two women who also work at the Front Desk. Breakfast was very good. A nice option would be to have coffee available for guests, before breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m. The garden area is pretty and the rooftop views are spectacular. My only dissatisfaction / complaint is the mattress in the Basic Room absolutely needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable to sleep on and completely sagged on one side. Also the lighting needs to be improved in the room...it was dark.

Yelp
My first time visiting Beautiful San Miguel de Allende , we booked hacienda de las flores and we had such a pleasant stay. I believe it only has about 17 rooms or so, it is so beautiful, clean beautiful rooms, green gardens and very private and great service. I stayed in a junior suite facing the pool.. it's spacious, has a microwave, mini fridge ceiling fans .. very comfortable bed. The hotel feels more like a mini resort .. I highly recommend this hotel the front staff Gaby goes left and right to accommodate anything you may need. Perfect for families :)) Muchas gracias gabby

Yelp
Scam artists. Stay away from this hotel and the staff that will smile in your face and then charge you $100 more at the end of your stay. No se quedan aquí la gente te van a cobrar mil pesos más cuando sales. Sonríen en tu cara sabiendo que te van a cobrar mas y no dicen hasta el mero minuto que te estas saliendo.

Yelp
I feel a little bad rating this only 3 stars because I suspect that most of my issues fall into the category of "what do you expect, this is Mexico!" The staff is friendly and helpful, grounds are lovely and breakfast is large and delicious. The negatives are all sort of petty but they add up. Our room had a number of problems--shower took 3-4 mins to heat up, and mid-shower (3 mins in) slowed to a trickle and stopped for a full minute before gradually restarting. The toilet stuck, so unfortunately we wasted a lot of water when we flushed and then went out for the day. Some of the outlets and light switches were inoperable and the WiFi didn't work (unable to join), though there was another network was available in the dining room. Breakfast was tasty and served by a sweet woman, but very very slow (we suspected that she was waiting and bussing the tables and doing all the food prep herself!). That gave us more time to use the Internet in the dining room, but I'm glad we didn't have a pressing engagement. So all in all, I'd say go in with low expectations and you might be pleasantly surprised.
