My wife and I spent two nights at Hacienda Historica with our son, daughter-in-law and two small grandchildren. The drive from their house in Santiago was about two and a half hours.||The Hacienda dating from the eighteenth century was a former religious building and retains its old charm and character. Our family apartment with two separate bedrooms served our needs perfectly. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were generous and tasty and we enjoyed dinner there on both nights. There is a charming bar and my son and I enjoyed playing pool in the separate adjoining room. The setting is delightfully rustic and horse riding is available. The staff were welcoming and friendly.||On Saturday we visited the small coastal resort of Pichilemu, quiet because the season was drawing to a close and then drove a further ten miles to the salt village of Cahuil and had a delightful walk around the lagoon and over the salt beds. As a keen bird watcher I thought the place was wonderful. My wife bought a variety of salts||which have enhanced our steak and chips on our return to the UK.||Returning to Santiago, we visited the charming small town of Pomaire, noted for its pottery and local crafts, and had a pleasant lunch in one of its many restaurants.||I can unreservedly recommend Hacienda Historica.

Stayed at the Hacienda in January and absolutely loved it. The property is beautiful, quiet and romantic...I felt like I was in a photoshoot for Vogue Magazine. We spent 3 blissful days lounging by the pool, checking out the nearby wineries and playing ping pong. The staff is amazing and the food is very good. They have a great wine cellar with many local wines to try. They also have a very cozy bar where you can hang out and play pool.||||Note that the Hacienda is not for everyone. If you are the type of person who wants to be on wifi 24 hours a day or is looking for a restaurant/nightlife scene - this it not the place for you. If you are looking for a relaxing place to calm your mind and re-engergize...you'll love the Hacienda.

Very unique and something romantic about it. Rustic and very Spanish in design and flavour. Very large rooms, neat and clean, and the hotel has a nice pool area but it is a destination in its own right. It is out of the way and no restaurants around it. You have to eat in and frankly, while the menu read well, the quality is questionable. For somewhere that prides itself on the quality of meat it was very disappointing.||||However the staff were simply wonderful. Very special people who would do almost anything for you.

I don´t normally think of haciendas and old buildings in Chile so this one took me by surprise. A beautifully restored building and a level of comfort that guarantees total relaxation. The achieve their objectives and it's a very friendly place with great level of service. The building 'tour' with wine tasting is not to be missed so you can capture the history of the place and we took their recommended boutique wine tour to a little known small producer. We learned so much despite taking many wine tours in various wineries! Food was good too but we made the mistake of not requesting gluten-free options before going. (And we made the mistake of only staying one night, the place merits a longer stay!)

This hotel is history at its best. |If you love history you will love this place. Its existence started in the 1700. |The history information is displayed all over the hotel passages. |The hotel is on an old farm so there are a few chickens and a few horses. |We went horse back riding on this massive piece of land.|There is a swimming pool and a bar at the swimming pool. There are bicycles to use if you want a cycle. |The wifi is not very strong and there is no television. (Living the history)|The building itself is amazing. |The hotel is in the wine region so there are many wine farms to go and visit!|We first went to Vińa Caven. This is a small private winery. But wow!!! I learned so much about wine making. Luis believes in quality and not quantity and that makes Vińa Caven wines great!|We also went to Estampa winery. Huge and massive mechanical wine making. |For me it was not as impressive as the Caven winery. Yes they make good wines but they make it fast so that the wines can be exported.|The staff at the hotel is very friendly and assisted where needed. They made all the arrangements for the wine tours. |We also had a special request for a birthday cake for my 71 year old stepdad. The staff was awesome with this surprise cake!|My boys had so much fun that my youngest was pretty upset to leave (he loves farms😂)

Travel back in time in an beautifully conserved 'Hacienda'. Rooms are very spacious, peaceful and with beautiful scenery. One can take ride horses around the area and the main house has a pool, bar, fusball, ping pong and billiards. They include a restaurant which serves 3 meals a day, unfortunately the food was moderately good, probably due to.the remoteness, in any case, I would recommend exploring the near by vineyard's which have some of Chile's top restaurants.

This is a beautiful old estate turned into a hotel, with spa facilities, horseback riding, wine cellar and nice restaurant. The rooms are very spacious, a large pool, hammocks etc. Quiet and peaceful, unpretentious and beautiful.||Arrived after a 130km bicycle ride, and did not want to leave to continue my journey!
