An elegant, welcoming spot with lovely traditional table settings, glasses and plates from Mexico as well as interesting art decorating the walls.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Beef Fajitas and the Tacos Don Pedro and washed them down with a couple of Clasico Margaritas over ice in classic traditional glasses. OK, two margaritas, they were that good. The cheese quesadilla with black bean puree that is served in place of bread was surprisingly delicious and we fell on it like jackals.
Wait staff were attentive, friendly and very professional.
Only one mild criticism I had was that the salsas were all very mild, even the Chipotle salsa that was brought when I asked for hotter salsa than the two supplied. Hoeever, the Pico de Gallo was freshly made and tasty, as was the orange blended salsa whose name i forget. However I haven't seen any very spicy food in Paraguay, so there's probably no call for it. Still, my kingdom for a Jalapeño!
