Stayed here in June 2019. One of the most unique and remote hotels, yet beautiful, that I have ever stayed. Was like a nice day on Mars up there. Would absolutely recommend.

Incredible stay at this hotel! The staff were extremely kind. The property is BEAUTIFUL and quiet! The views of the mountain from the room cannot be beat! The kitchen and restaurant is a little $$ but the food is 10/10! We would absolutely stay here again! The staff helped us book a last minute cotopaxi tour when we learned our car would not make it on the road to the park! NOTE: RENT A 4X4 CAR IF YOU PLAN TO STAY HERE - the drive will SUCK/ be SUPER stressful if you rent a smaller one! We made the mistake and honestly thought we broke the small car. Only other tip - is to ask the staff to light the wood stove in the room well before you plan to sleep - ours went out the first night and we were cold - but the bed had thick blankets. They lit it earlier the second night and we were able to keep it running. This would be a tip for management too to get the stove running and stocked before guests arrive so they dont need to worry about the cold as we spent a few hours trying to get the wood stove to work. The fruit tea, salsa picante and soup are a MUST try!

Stopped by this great and quiet location before going to Cotopaxi national park. I visited with my wife who hadn’t been there in around 16 years. She said they used to be a little wooded building with nothing but an outhouse. They have massively upgraded and their building is absolutely beautiful now. Best part, the older building is still there and you wouldn’t even know it! The staff were polite and quick to make our food fresh. They also have a great view of both volcanos nearby. A great place to stop for a great meal before hitting the park.

Located on the outskirts of the Cotopaxi national park this hotel is in a beautiful location with incredible sunrises and an excellent view of Cotopaxi. The trip up the mountain takes quite a while, but on arrival it's just absolutely worth it. They offer horse-riding trips of different lengths with their own horses, getting to enjoy nature from horseback. The dinner menu is small but regional and very tasty. Breakfast was also good with a selection of cereals, egg-dishes or bread. The rooms and facilities are quite luxurious, dispersed over different houses. As it was already fairly cold when we arrived, the only down-side was having to time restocking the wood stove in our room to keep us cozy throughout the night. Absolute recommendation for horse-back riding, hiking and enjoying the tranquility in the mountains.

Great spot with awesome views. Staff very tentative but I could never get hot water to take a shower.

We had booked a stay at the beautiful hacienda. Pablo had picked us up from the airport and also drove us to our next accommodation. The rides were very pleasant. The house furnishings and small details of the hacienda is very nice. The staff, especially Allegra, are very friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty. We can highly recommend a stay at the Hacienda.

Beautiful Hacienda close to Cotopaxi. The view is fantastic. From our room we can see Cotopaxi, rumiñahui and Sincholagua. Friendly staffs, serene and tranquil atmosphere. The only downside food portion is small and to Ecuador standard is quite expensive with $20 price tag for full course. But we love our stay there and of course will come back again in the future.
