This hacienda was a disappointment for us as a 5 star luxury hotel. The rooms were great but the main pool area sunbeds were all dirty. The second pool wasn’t swimmable. At dinner we were seated next to construction at our “window” which wasn’t there, just a curtain with construction workers outside (on a Sunday!!) The food was all overly salty including the guacamole and salad and our NY steak tacos were nothing but fat and grizzle and we could barely find a piece of decent meat in them. When we asked for mosquito repellent because we were getting chewed up inside the restaurant they sent us to a store down the road. Not a luxury or 5 star hotel or experience. Wouldn’t book it again.

This place is heaven on earth! ❤️ We spent 3 nights here to celebrate our honeymoon. Our suite, room 105, was just amazing. Fantastic bed and super huge bathroom. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival at the reception and Antonio took care of our luggage. Ask for Antonio when you arrive for any tips & tricks or help. He is such a fantastic guy and speaks English fluently. Antonio helped us a lot! Food, both breakfast and dinner is truly worth it. Just delicious and there is lots of choice. We will truly miss this place and cherish it in our hearts for the rest of our lives! Thank you so much for making our stay memorable! Gracias!!! ❤️🙏

Enjoyed a relaxed lunch in beautiful surroundings. Felt safe during covid. It is not a fast food establishment so don't go if you are in a hurry. Food was very good.

Love this place, the food and service are excellent.. I tend to go every few weeks for a weekend brunch and it is always such a relaxed atmosphere.

Had a spectacular evening yesterday at Hacienda Xcanatun by Angsana resort, located just north of Mérida. We attended a memorable 1 hour classical concert performed by a musical Trio de Arpa (harp, flute, viola), followed by a gourmet meal at their Casa de Piedra Restaurant. The atmosphere captured the essence of a Sisal Hacienda from the 1800's - quiet, elegant and magnificent. This is a wonderful place for a very special evening with a loved one or visiting guests that you want to share the beauty of Mérida with. With 5 star entrees and service, you can't go wrong visiting Hacienda Xcanatun.

Beautiful place unfortunately the food is rather mediocre. Ideal to relax and spend a day at the spa. Great hotel with average restaurant.
