Hackett's Bar

Lovely old style bar with great live music on Sundays. Covered outdoor area at the back and cosy corners behind the bar area. Always a lovely fire in the winter months.

Favourite bar in West Cork the atmosphere in here is hard to beat. Bar has a nice range of beers, ciders and wines and has the best pint of Murphy's stout in Schull in my opinion. Has some craft cider and a pale ale on tap as well Staff are very friendly and usually quick with service

Absolutely loved this place! It was so easy going and friendly. Max was a great barman who remembered your name the following night, nice touch. And Jo was very helpful with her knowledge of Cork and places to go for drinks and food. Met some lovely folk on our first night who we will be keeping in touch with. Thanks for making our visit to Schull worthwhile.

Lovely pint of Murphy's. Great bar with lots of character & characters as customers too! Welcoming bar staff, dog friendly, nice beer garden out the back. Choice of background music was good too. Stop by if in Schull

Very friendlly staff, great food and decent prices. Interior of level 1 upstairs is very charming.

Lovely little pub this! It has most incredible mural painted on the wall that depicts a mirror reflection of the other side of the bar. Even more interesting and surreal is that when you look closely enough you can spot regular patrons of the bar also depicted in the mural and even sitting in the same poses in the same place, unreal!! The blue devil being reflected from the part of the bar that houses all the strong spirits is particularly creative and clever. Upstairs in the bar is a very nice and cosy living room too with couches and board games. Perfect for families and small groups. Great little spot.

Hackett’s will always have a place in my heart, many good memories and great pints had here!

Well this is It! was the first thing I thought as soon I walk inside the pub. Very welcome atmosphere and the staff very friendly. Is one those places where you really feel welcome and is the pub where we spend most of evenings. The pub is not very big but it has a lot of character and in the weekends have the Indian night (didn't try it cannot comment on the food) which from the menu where few dishes but all well selected. Definitely I personally recommend.

Cozy bar. Good 90s music when I was there all the usual grunge and alt rock. Dogs welcomed, smokers out back, grumpy Eastern European bar lady :it's all there. Don't like people?. Small outdoor seating out back. Non-alcoholic beverage options include Bundaberg ginger beer, soda water and water...
