During our stay, we had breakfast served by Agata, and she was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, she was so welcoming and attentive that I honestly thought she was the manager! She made sure we were comfortable, checked in regularly to see if everything was okay, and ensured we had everything we needed. Her friendly attitude and professionalism really stood out and made our breakfast experience a real pleasure. We couldn’t fault her at all — Agata truly went above and beyond. Since we checked in, all the staff have been friendly, helpful, and accommodating — it really made us feel welcome. The location is also super convenient, close to everything we needed, which made exploring the area so easy. Overall, our stay at the hotel was fantastic, and thanks to service like hers, we’ll definitely be coming back and hopefully will be able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms.

We love it here and were so looking forward to a return visit.||The rooms at the front are close to completion so our room was at the back. It was lovely, spacious and beautifully decorated, with lots of gorgeous bits and bobs. Very thoughtful additions such as straw beach bag for when it’s hot and a hot water bottle when a little cooler, obviously there is a charge if you ‘forget’ to leave them in the room on departure.||The weather was kind to us so we were able to sit outside for a drink, the bar area is also fabulous, stunning decor and a very quaffable selection of cocktails. ||We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was fabulous, there is a separate review. ||We did have an issue at breakfast however it was professionally dealt with by Paula on reception. Our feedback was constructively received. ||Another wonderful stay, we have reluctantly reduced our rating from ‘excellent’ to ‘very good’ in relation to our breakfast experience.||We absolutely will return and hopefully will be able to stay in one of the newly renovated rooms.

From the moment of booking, EVERYTHING with our Haddington House experience was flawless. Ayesha and Sinead were fabulous with the pre-arrival plans. And going out of their way to make our stay really memorable. When we arrived, Flako, Elena and a lady manager (owner?) were so welcoming, professional, warm and generally - fabulous☺️ Our room was exceptional. With SO many lovely, lovely touches. The quality of the decor, fixtures and fittings is just next level. Not to even mention that view☺️ The food, and especially the breakfast, and the breakfast team, were of the absolute highest quality. Generally our stay in the Haddington House exceeded any possible expectations and delivered an exceptional experience. 10/5

This is the best hotel & restaurant and cocktail bar in Dun Laoghaire. And one of the best in Dublin. Olivetto is amazing. Just excellent food great kids menu (and reasonable) and the view. Walk on the pier, then into Olivetto for food and drinks with the kids. Just amazing. Staff & service is also top notch. Well done. Safer booking in advance though. Very popular.

Yet another 5 star experience in the HH. Still punching far above its weight. Our room might not have had a sea view but it had everything thing else to make our 3 nights memorable. Like the rest of the hotel it had style, comfort and cleanliness. Best breakfasts in Dublin. Reception staff could give lessons in friendliness and helpfulness. Could not have been nicer. (loved the muted background jazz music in parlour area) We love the seafront walks all within a minute from the hotel. Definitely one of our go-to hotels on East Coast. With ongoing improvements we can't wait to see finished results. 4 stars coming. J&J👍

Cocktails were delicious, staff were super attentive and lovely to chat to. I had a whisky sour - made perfectly. The host also recommended another drink to me for next time which was much appreciated. Loved the decor, very elegant looking space.

We had the most wonderful evening dining at the Haddington Hotel’s outdoor restaurant last night. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was top class, warm and attentive without ever feeling overbearing. ||A special thank you to the lovely manager (who recently returned from her Erasmus in Spain, apologies for not remembering your name!). She went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday truly special. Her thoughtful touches and genuine care made all the difference!||Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable meal in a stunning setting. We’ll definitely be back!

Yelp
Loved this unique hotel inside and out. The staff at the front desk were always helpful and welcoming. Everything was very clean, too. Being able to just walk out to the pier and lighthouse was SO nice! Breakfast was good and the server didn't give me grief when I asked for some ice

Yelp
We generally liked this hotel. The staff was always very friendly. The location was good and walking distance to the train station. Things we didn't like: there is a pub down stairs that stays open very late in the evening. You can hear the club music all through the room. One night we were kept awake until 2:00AM because of the noise. It just so happened that on this same night, the boiler went out so we had no heat and no hot water to take a shower. I would possibly consider staying here again in the future if I could get a room away from the pub.
