The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, which we appreciated. However, a major downside was the strict and unexpected pool rules, which were not mentioned at the time of booking. All children — even those who can swim and are supervised by their parents — were required to wear life jackets in the 1.3m deep outdoor pool. During the lifeguards’ break, everyone, including adults, had to leave the water. On top of that, swim caps were mandatory in the indoor pool.

A fine upmarket hotel. Rooms are large, clean, and well maintained. From the time you enter, the staff are there to help. Most speak English. There is a hotel side and a resort side . Both are accessible from each other. A few 5 star restaurants and a piano bar. Prices are at the high end for food and drinks. Buffet Dinner is $140,000 korea . 3 pools in total. The resort pool opens at 1pm. Beautiful quiet pool with no children allowed . The hotel pool , one is indoors . They have pool rules for using these two pool .Everyone must get out of the pool for 10 minutes every hour . You must wear a swimming cap if swimming in the indoor pool , no footwear is allowed in the inside pool as well. The pool water in all 3 pools was crystal clear every day. Location is an hour from the main city of jeju. There are lots of little local restaurants, a 7/11, and a C.U convenient store within walking distance . A beach walk will take you to the larger end of town , with lots more restaurants.

The resort is renovated and reopened in May 2024.||All the suite qualified rooms have 2 bedrooms with 2 toilets, living room with Kitchenett and Balcony with ocean (or mountain) view.||||Merits:||1. The property is a resort complex with leisure facilities for Golf, Swimming, outdoor sports as well as accommodation for hotel and resort.||It has all the necessary inhouse facilities, such as restaurants, arcades, and convenience stores.||2. The quality of the restaurants (incl. Korean, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and Buffet) is high-end and better than expected. No need to go out of the property for dining.||3. Both mountain and sea can be enjoyed.||4. Compared to other properties, it has good values for the members incl. discount for F&B, free access to outdoor pool.||5. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Especially, my experience for check-in process was wonderful and thanks for top notch service.||||Demerits:||1. It takes around one hour from the airport. It runs shuttle buses for the airport and golf country club, but not many, so separate taxi fees of about 60K KRW (airport) or 20K (Golf) will be incurred.||2. It must be a family resort but some places like a resort outdoor pool or fitness are adult only (abive age of 20)||3. There are a lot of trainees besides regular employees, but sometimes they make unexpected small mistakes.

A great hotel which is really high end. Pools are great though not really great for small kids though was great they had free floatation aids. A shame Customer service sometimes lacked experience, food is great but expensive (even the buffet) and there were some strange limitations like the Italian didn’t serve pasta in the evening and 2 of the restaurants only served set menus. A strange juxtaposition as many of the people staying there seemed to be families. The last thing to mention is the play area is tiny. In the pictures it shows a big room full of toys which it seems is closed now though the website doesn’t mention it

The resort is new and beautiful, but the service is extremely strict. There are soooo many rules to follow, we didn't want to stay more time. The swimming pool at the resort is not for children it's only for adults, only the swimming pool at the hotel is available for children and adults. If you don't finish your food for any reason, even after paying, you can't take it to go and they rush you to finish your food and leave. During my dinner it wasn't pleasant to have someone rushing you because they need to close. I thought the customer was priority in this kind of hotels, especially for the price we are paying. At the front desk they are helpful and friendly.

For a 5 star hotel we were left slightly disappointed. Everything that is extra in the hotel costs and exorbitant amount of money and as hotel guests we were not allowed access to the resort pool. For a '5 star' experience, being in a pool full of familes and children was disappointing when an empty adults only pool was around the corner. The room was old and relatively dirty. The TV didn't work properly and didn't offer anything apart from the standard Channels when it did work. I suspect this system hasn't received an upgrade since the hotel opened in 2007. On a positive note, the interior of the hotel was great and the staff were lovely throughout the hotel, especially the bar staff. We also enjoyed the happy hour which was a reprieve from the otherwise, and aforementioned eye watering prices at the hotel. All in all, the 5 star billing does not live up to the 5 star prices. Would not recommend. PS. We were looking forward to playing table tennis but in the 6 times we went to play to was being used by families.

The hotel is stunning and the rooms were really nice. Special mention to the bathroom which was so clean and so luxurious. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. However, we were quite disappointed to face a price to access the sauna and nothing to eat or drink offered in the room for such a high-standard hotel. The swimming pool was nice but so stinky that we weren't comfortable going in it. The outdoor pool was not heated enough to swim in it during winter. The hotel had so many things included (24-hour convenience store, multiple restaurants) you could basically live there. Beware that there are a lot of families, therefore kids and you can hear them from early morning. If you go there it's good to have a car but the village next to them has many different restaurants and a large nice beach. The big minus: we booked a room for 3 on Trip.com but when we arrived at the hotel they said it was only for two and we had to pay an extra per night quite high.In short: I highly recommend the place.
