In an area that used to be as un-visited as a psyche ward, this restaurant still stands almost alone to service the throngs that have popped up over the past decade. Recently, it's had a makeover and is schmicko like a really nice airport...yeah, but I do mean really nice...the menu skews towards frighteningly expensive. The wines by the glass may seem moderately priced, but you're getting just 100ml. In itself this gives you a chance to sample across the list. The meals were good enough, though uneven. The fish soup may have a foam that would have made it super hip in 1990, but flavour should still survive, but doesn't. Though the rouille is quite ok. The veggies are all passable, and the BBQ cabbage is a winner, even if the excellent sauces are arranged like an 80s rock stars bad dream. The dessert selection is baffling. Maybe the tiny selection emerge better than described, but we decline the offer. The crowds seem to love the place, and if you can handle the bill, you'll have a reasonable meal and good service.
