I had a great experience at Hafið Bláa, a hidden gem with an amazing sea view. We ordered the seafood of the moment, which was fresh fish with baked potatoes and vegetables. The fish was so fresh, soft, and delicious—definitely the best fish dish I’ve had in Iceland. The atmosphere was cozy, and the view of the black sand beaches and the ocean made it even more special. I highly recommend this place to anyone near the Selfoss area who wants great seafood by the sea.

A perfect place for dining. A beautiful evening of sun and sea and sand was the perfect backdrop for an excellent meal. Most Americans would probably complain of slow service but the young man was delightful, helpful, and why would you be in a hurry with that view? I enjoyed my "Seafood of the Moment" - a pan fried cod with root vegetables and sauce topped with arugula - with the backdrop of Eyjafjallajökull. Others at our table had the lamb and "lobster" (not as Americans know lobster but langoustines). Everything was perfectly cooked and a wonderful presentation. Truly a great experience with great staff.

Sadly we couldn’t go but the setting is absolutely amazing. Beautiful ocean view, in the other side a fantastic view of the countryside. Birds, sea lions, black lava sand, great parking.

Food was absolute delicious, and the view was even better. You really have to try their lobster soup, it’s amazing! The waiter was extremely kind and despite the late dinner told us some interesting facts about Iceland and his people.

One of the prettier and coziest places i have seen in south Iceland. Truly a hidden gem, definitely worth a little detour if you are traveling around Iceland! Amazing views, good food and friendly staff

It was the first restaurant in Iceland i visited during the Iceland trip. Food was as boring as you could get, with sand in seafood soup, really boring everything else ( i have tried soup, seafood salad, which was mistakenly brought to us instead of pasta and some unidentified fish with most boring sidedish ever. Usually i try not to pup that low score to places, but it was too bad compared to other places we have visited turing trip, but prices was the same (around 80 euro for 2 person's). View and place is nice. (Also made mistake in their favor in the bill, not sure if I mentioned that if everything else was ok)

Ocean view (fun fact: only warer and 15.000 km between the restaurant and Antarctica). Best waiter ever. Best food in 6 days, really really good lobster soop and fish.

Nice restaurant with parking lots close to the street and a great view to the sea on the other side. Food is fresh and delicious. Portions are coming in good sizes, fresh bread with salted butter is offered as side dish for free. When you are passing by, it‘s definitely worth a visit.
