Great desserts, lovely people , inviting ambiance. The Caramel Tres Leches was the best I’ve had - moist, not overly sweet and the perfect caramel sauce on top.

The baklava with ice cream was absolutely delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly—especially Pinar, who constantly made sure everything was perfect. She even offered us complimentary tea at the end, which turned out to be the best I’ve had in Istanbul. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy top-quality desserts! ❤️

Every time I come to Istanbul, the very first place I go is here — to enjoy their delicious desserts and a cup of Turkish tea. I truly believe they serve some of the best Turkish desserts in the whole city. The atmosphere is so authentic, and the hospitality makes you feel as if you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home.

Hafiz Mustafa in Sultanahmet is a must-visit for dessert lovers. I tried the tea and pistachio dessert, both of which were excellent. The dessert was rich, flavorful, and perfectly sweet, pairing beautifully with the tea. The service was outstanding, with a professional and attentive staff ensuring a great experience. The ambiance is charming and historic, reflecting the café’s long-standing reputation. The presentation of the desserts and drinks was elegant and inviting. Despite its popularity, the staff manages the crowd efficiently. Prices are reasonable for the quality and experience. The location in Sultanahmet makes it a perfect stop while exploring the area. Overall, a fantastic spot for Turkish sweets and hospitality.

I stopped by to try some desserts and had a great experience overall. The saffron tres leches was good, though the saffron was a bit overpowering. The custard was fairly standard, but the white chocolate cake was delicious, especially with the raspberry compote, which complemented it beautifully. The chocolate with strawberries had a slightly boozy taste, but it was still enjoyable. All in all, a delightful treat!

Yelp
The best Turkish Delights, Baklava, Service and experience. PERIOD. You'll see a lot of places that sell baklava and delights but consider the following. 1. A lot of stores have Turkish Delights and Baklava on display and the shopkeeper is smoking in the shop or right in front. If you want second hand smoke on your Delights and Baklava, that's your choice 2. Just because it comes in box and is three for 250 liras doesn't make it good. There's a reason why you don't see what's in the box. It's a smaller container with much lesser grade Baklava or Delights. Hafiz Mustafa has multiple locations in Istanbul. While the price may be slightly more, it's worth it. The service I encountered in two different locations was more than exceptional. Kind, patient, and willing to help. I couldn't express what I wanted in either English or Turkish but each staff member took the time to help me. To have that level patience after dealing with so many tourists takes a special kind of person. I will never forget either experiences. Did I mention their cakes? Stunning, exquisite, delicious, and hand-crafted. Wow To the staff member who helped us with our three Baklava tins. Thank you so much for your kindness, expertise, and your patience. Our family members loved their Baklava and their tins. Lastly, you can order online via their website if you're not able to visit Istanbul. I would encourage you to do so if Istanbul is not in your future plans. If Istanbul is your future plans, please visit one of their many locations and bring some home to share with family and friends. Trust me they don't want a keychain or fridge magnet.

Yelp
Super crowded but received a table right away. They had so much staff it was like a well oiled machine. Shared our dessert. Service is fast and friendly. Prices a little high. Great for dessert and coffee.

Yelp
These spots are all over town. Literally. You find them everywhere. Many times we would be walking by and were given samples of baklava and Turkish delight. Not bad. This was the first time we stopped for a sit down dessert. I ordered the Kunafa. Flavor and texture was good, but I've had better. My wife ordered the pistachio tres leches. I liked this more than mine, and normally I don't like tres leches. Did I like it yes. Is it the best ever? No.

Yelp
The focus of this café is on baklava and other Turkish sweets. They truly have excellent baklava! It is prepared perfectly. And, is very-very tasty. This restaurant is basically situated for outdoor dining, though they do have some interior seating. But, if you truly want to take in the atmosphere of Istanbul, I truly recommend sitting outside. One thing I will warn Westerners about, however, is that, as is the case throughout the restaurants in Istanbul, you probably will encounter people smoking at the table next to you or behind you. There's not much you can do about this, you just have to accept it for part of the İstanbul experience,. Though personally, I hate it. But, what can you do? But, back to the food and the dining experience... They have very good lattes and other drinks. The staff here is very conscientious and they pay very close attention to the customers. The high point of dining here is to just sit back, take a few moments, enjoy a latte or another drink, enjoy some great baklava, and truly experience Istanbul.

Yelp
Turkish delights are the iconic staple of Turkey. Adorned along the streets of Istanbul, you will find multiple locations of this shop. Given the long lines and crowded tables, I had to step inside and check this place out for myself. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, offering free samples of different Turkish delight to try. I was not sure what to order and had the server order for me. He picked 4 different types of signature Turkish delights. I thought the prices were reasonable considering this is a premium product. The flavors were delicious, everything was very fresh and the quality was very high. You can find cheaper options elsewhere but I think it's worth checking out and sampling for yourself!

Yelp
We tried baklava at H&M - Hafiz Mustafa near Blue Mosque and it was not your average baklava! We had the pistachio Tres Leches cake with ice cream and variety pistachio baklava and they both were simply amazing...not too sweet!

Yelp
Horrendous and overrated food and even worse service. I think due to the amount of people and tourists they get their customer service is pathetic and food is tasteless. Save your money!

Yelp
Historic sweets shop with excellent Turkish coffee and traditional desserts. It's a bit on the expensive side though and you can certainly find other confectioners in the city with more reasonable prices.

Yelp
Hafiz Mustafa should be your destination for Turkish dessert, particularly puddings! Don't be intimidate by the old-fashioned fancy atmosphere of this classic Istanbul dessert chain, because even peasants like us can enjoy the delicious desserts here at ease. In the tempting display of pudding, you will find many delectable choices like chocolate pudding topped with pistachio cream and fruit-embedded pudding. For 13.5 TL, you can get a high-quality and delicious pudding that comes in a portion so big and filling that it could easily be a meal. Unless you have no soul, I am sure you will love the pudding here! Whether you are looking for an after-meal dessert, an afternoon tea, or really any excuse to enjoy some Turkish desserts, you cannot go wrong with Hafiz Mustafa! I highly recommend trying out their famous puddings at least once when you are in Istanbul. You also receive a pretty nice glass pudding bowl as a souvenir if you take-out the pudding!

Yelp
Food was amazing. As usual we ordered a kunefa with a slice of ice cream and a latte. This location didn't have flavored lattes or maybe they stopped doing this. Only reason I removed one star was because the server mistimed his delivery. Most of us ordered kunefa which he cautioned took 15 min to prepare, one of our group members ordered something already made so he received his dessert 10 min before the rest of us. Not a big deal but maybe ask them to bring everything out at the same time to avoid this.

Yelp
Dry baklava - 3.75 stars Definitely better than the baklava we had at Ahsen although at Ahsen we had the regular pistachio baklava. It had a stronger roasted pistachio flavour and the top was crisp, though the bottom a bit soggier. Kunefe - 3.75 stars Crispy and more on the savory than sweet side! Still not a big fan of kadayif though. Pistachio ice cream - 2 stars Nope! The pistachio flavour was weak - it tasted mostly like cream/milk studded with raw pistachios. Turkish delight Orange one - 4 stars This changed my mind about Turkish delight - it was subtly sweet, tasted fresh and chewy, a little like the skin of mochi. Green one - 3.5 stars Bit too sweet.

Yelp
The variety of Turkish desserts here are great! I would absolutely recommend any of the baklava and classic Turkish delights. You won't regret stopping in and grabbing a cup of coffee or a nice tea and dessert. Love this place!

Yelp
Don't go anywhere else for kunefa!! I'm not even a fan of it normally but this place has now converted me to a kunefa lover.. This is the best spot for it and the 15 min prep time for it is worth it!! Soooo good! The puddings were also excellent!! The kunefa is a MUST here!

Yelp
Exceptional baklava, turkish delight and ice-cream. so so so good. Good tea too. Service wasn't too great, but the desserts were soooo good that I didnt' care. :)

Yelp
The dessert options are numerous! But service was definitely lacking. For being in a very tourist heavy area, the staff did not speak English. Wouldn't come back for the service, but would definitely come back for dessert

Yelp
this place has the best trileçe in istanbul. period. they also got many other dessert options as well that ate just as good. this place is quite historic.
