"Take a Walk in Old-Fashioned Clogs The classic wooden clogs used to be the only summer shoe you would see in the 1970s. But then they went out of fashion, until the Swedish Hasbeens store resurrected them in 2006. But none of this has bothered Haga Trätoffelfabrik—the clogs manufacturer and seller has been going since 1933! You’ll find classic clogs in many colors, as well as more modern sandal-like versions that go well with summer dresses."

This is a (hopefully not hidden) gem! We stumbled upon this by chance and checked out the woolen sweaters that were offered. The products sold there are of high quality, locally made and just simply beautiful. We ended up buying one and while doing so came to talk to the owner who was easy to talk to and very insightful about the clothing and the history of it. He told us that he’s the third owner in a history of more than 90 years (hope I got that right), and it was amazing to learn more about the stores history as well. We had a bit of a talk about traditional garments from other countries as well and we thought this was so wholesome and cool to talk with a local. Thanks for that :) The shoes they are selling there are also produced by them, so it’s an amazing opportunity to support a local store and local garment / shoe production. We will be back once we’re back in Gothenburg! :)

Incredible display of Sultan Of Ping memorabilia! I was asked to dance a polka by the managers uncle, he said that pop music had taken a turn for the wurst (ho ho) when the Sultan’s had disbanded

The female staff here are very good, every communication is very warm, making people feel the warmth of home. I have bought hats, socks and leather storage boxes, the quality is very good, this is my favorite store in haga.

One of the best parts of my trip. Authentic and amazing. The owner was so helpful and insightful about Swedish clogs, history about his store, and recommended me restaurants to go to! I want to buy all the clogs now :)

Absolutly lovely place. The staff is both friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The sortiment of proper, robust shoes, clothes and accessories is splendid. I buy most of my leather and wool gear here.
