During our recent trip to Napa Valley, we had the pleasure of visiting Hagafen Winery, and it was an experience to remember. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that perfectly encapsulates the charm of wine country. Hagafen Winery boasts a beautiful and inviting setting. The vineyards stretch out in picturesque rows, creating a stunning backdrop that is both relaxing and inspiring. The tasting was in the garden, which was elegant yet cozy, with friendly staff who are knowledgeable and passionate about their wines.

Visited on Christmas day for wine tasting. A very nice selection of sweet wines and the host was very hospitable and enthusiastic. Would recommend if you like a not-overly-extravagant but still nice and relaxed ambiance.

Everything about this lovely winery is what you hope one to be. From the amazing tasting with Claire to walking the vineyard, you feel educated and transported to a special place and time. The winemaker is truly an artist! Highly recommend!

Google
Definitely the best winery in Napa Valley if you are a lover of sweet wines and want to enjoy a relaxing afternoon without the uptight ambience. Mother/daughter weekend with the best hostess ever! We enjoyed your positive vibes and wealth of knowledge you shared so much that we snapped a picture with Clara; this young lady is an asset to your business just fyi! Clara, thank you for a relaxing and enjoyable tasting and making Napa more memorable! ❤Shanna & Bethany

Visited Hagafen as part of a wine tour. The tasting was nice and relaxed. The host was engaging and knowledgeable about the wines. Bought 2 bottles of Sauv Blanc and Oh! Bordeaux Red Blend

My husband and I had an amazing time at Hagafen. The wine was amazing, the grounds were gorgeous, and Charlie did an amazing job with our tasting. He was kind, generous with the portions, and did a great job explaining everything and pushing us to try new wines. We hope to be back to visit Hagafen!

Couldn't have had a better wine tasting experience for my first time! For $45, it included 5 wines. Though they had a Signature Tasting already picked out, you can actually customize and pick any 5 wines to try (as long as they're not collector exclusives). The tasting is also free if you buy $50 worth of wine! We tried the Chardonnay, Rosé, Merlot, and Cabernet... but my favorite was DEFINITELY the 2009 Late Harvest Sauv. Blanc! It was incredibly sweet and decadent. I ended up taking a bottle of it home with me. Apparently it is great on top of some ice cream! I highly recommend trying it! FUN FACT: all of their wines are kosher! Reservations were very quick and simple on their website. The staff were also exceptionally kind! They came by periodically to check on us and see how we were enjoying the wines. They were very informative and descriptive. Super easy to approach for questions! They also started us with some complimentary Dry Riesling, and ended us with some sparkling wine for our anniversary.

Try the sparkling wine tasting! Beautiful property and a fabulous Riesling! Make sure to get some of their olive oil!

Yelp
One of the few (left) family owned wineries. Cozy and personal. Very engaging staff and good wines. Nice time and a great way to end our week in Napa.

Yelp
It's not easy to find a winery that could accommodate 8 people plus a baby and dog but Hagafen pulled through. They charged $55/person for this sized group with no refunds for bottle purchases which seemed reasonable considering and didn't charge the DD that wasn't drinking. The seating area was beautiful and very comfortable. Our wine guide Charlie was super helpful and even showed us around the barrel room. We were able to bring plenty of snacks and hang out for a few hours. The wines came in hefty tasting pours and they had a very diverse variety. The bottles were very reasonably priced. Everything produced here is kosher which, understandably, doesn't impact the flavor at all.

Yelp
Marissa was amazing and personable. We really enjoyed our time at this new-to-us winery. It seems so family friendly, has lots of seating and open space. There's a good amount of spacing between you and other parties of guests so it doesn't feel too crowded. The wines were delish and we really enjoyed learning about the place.

Yelp
A Jewish owned, kosher winery that has great wines and a family friendly environment. They were so lovely and gladly let our little hooligans respectfully enjoy the winery and the chickens! This is a small, boutique winery. Our tasting included a little cheese plate and a whole bunch of wine. We also brought some pastries and bites from Bouchon Bakery, and that was no problem. We are a little loosey goosey and so were they, so definitely not a formal tasting for us, and the person helping was fun. A few wines were great, and others were fine. The owner, Don Ernesto seemingly popped by every table to say hello and greet wine goers warmly. Overall, a nice little non corporate winery.

Yelp
Impromptu visit to this relaxed vibe winery created by founder / owner who started this labor of love in the late 70s. According to the wine manager, he is still active and at the winery almost every day, including the day we visited. We enjoyed both the red and white tastings at $50 per person. Quality was good. Stand out was 2016 Can Sav. Price for tasting and bottles seemed excessive, that is just the way it is Napa. Our wine host was warm, knowledgeable and relaxed, like the winery. Enjoyed the '16 Cab Sav again the next night at a biz dinner in SF. Cheers!

Yelp
While this is a kosher winery, there's nothing particularly different about the winery itself nor the wines/flavors. Just a 'thing' if you happen to keep kosher I suppose! Our friends are members here (ooh la la) so we were able to get a free wine tasting with them - amazing! I didn't catch our server's name but he was friendly and knowledgeable about everything we tried. I liked the setup here too - each group got their own little bench nook and table and there were curtains in between to separate you from the next group. Our server explained and poured one wine at a time and we were able to customize which wines we wanted to try (i.e. I don't like red wines, so I was able to just try whites/roses/sparkling). I enjoyed all the wines I tried and the weather was great for sitting outside.

Yelp
The winery has great wine and customer service. They have a gorgeous outdoor seating to enjoy your wine tasting and you get to just kick back and relax. I was pretty impressed with their estate Merlot. Getting a reservation was fairly easy and quick. Will be visiting again !

Yelp
This was the first winery we visited on my November tour with the nice folks from Platypus (read my review of them). Hagafen is the Hebrew word for vine. I'd never heard of them before, nor do I have any particular proclivities toward Kosher products, that 3/8 of my family notwithstanding. So, I'm simply happy to have discovered them. I enjoyed every wine on their tasting menu, yes, but I particularly enjoyed the chardonnay (see pic). I almost never like chardonnay; that overpowering oaky buttery furniture polish finish in many keeps me away. Hagafen's chard had none of that, but tons of all those other wonderful grassy and mineraly flavors. I always like happy discoveries while out on adventures, and Hagafen is one!

Yelp
Found this place as I saw it was one of the wineries in Napa that offered sweet wine. Tastings are a set menu, which I did not know prior to coming. However, our server was super nice & friendly. I told him that I preferred sweet wine, so he went out of his way to serve us a couple of their sweeter wines after our tasting was finished. We ended up loving the 2 sweet wines that we tried, that we bought bottles of them, which were the sweet Riesling & the late harvest. The late harvest was amazing, it had tasting notes of caramel & smelled like honey. They have a great deal of if you spend $75+ on bottles, one of your tastings is free. 1 tasting is normally $45, so if you get 2 bottles, the deal is definitely a steal. Overall, we loved this small winery & they even let us walk around the vineyards & taste the grapes on the vines.

Yelp
Casual wine tasting experience with delicious wine. I love wine tastings but theres usually a couple i'm not a big fan. To my surprise, I enjoyed all of them! They were all smooth and balanced. Our server was very nice and would explain all the notes and details of each wine that was poured. When we told him we liked sweeter wines he let us try some as well. I liked how they let you walk around, even in the vineyards. One of the best tasting experiences, cant wait to come back and try more of their wines!

Yelp
Wonderful wine tasting experience at Hagafen! We loved chatting with Vince, who gave us our tasting. Everything was set up beautifully and the property was nicely maintained with stunning views. Vince was so knowledgeable when it came to the wine and the vineyard's history. My husband and I really enjoyed the entire experience and would absolutely recommend Hagafen for a tasting appointment.

Yelp
It's pretty rare that I return to wineries. Usually the experience is nice enough, but there are plenty of other nice enough places to try. This one I keep going back to, for the wines (served in the White House), the grounds (lovely semi-private garden seated areas), and the above and beyond hospitality shown by the staff. I don't like to mention prices on reviews since things are always changing, but this place is one of the few left in Napa that allows the tasting fee to be waived by the purchase of a tasting-priced bottle of wine. Bring some snacks and get ready to settle in for some well-made (and kosher) wines in a lovely family-owned winery, hosted by lovely and welcoming people.

Yelp
Wow Probably one of the best cellar in Napa imo. I think their wines are just fit to my pallet. I love everything dry and hagafen provides the best dry wine. I also dislike leatherish red wine and their carbernet Sauvignon is nothing like leather. On the country, it is light body. Overall: thanks to their knowledge server, we learned a lot. And I do recommend this place to everyone.

Yelp
Really kid and dog friendly winery with kosher wines. Staff was extremely friendly and the wines are good. We were impressed with their off dry Riesling which was really unique and delicious. Thank you for hosting our group of 4 adults and 4 kids under the age of 6.

Yelp
Came here as my first wine tasting for an anniversary. It was a very nice and simple experience. The tasting was for 5 wines, and they allow substitutes. The staff would occasionally stop by with the next wine, give a brief explanation of the wine, and leave for around 10 minutes. In between tastings you can walk around the property. There's a vineyard and a chicken coop nearby. We substituted the Hagafen Pinot Noir for the Late Harvest Sauv Blanc. It was very sweet, tasting very similar to honey. Apparently it goes well with cooking or on top of ice cream. The staff made sure this was the last of the 5 tastings because of the sweetness. We also got a complementary wine to start, and a complementary sparkling wine for our anniversary to end. The wine here is also all kosher, but they do not boil the wine to preserve the taste. The cost of the tasting is $45, or you can purchase $45 of wine, so we took home a Late Harvest Sauv Blanc and a white wine.

Yelp
Booked a large group here for a bachelor/bachelorette party. Had been to two wineries earlier that day and both of them were stellar. This place was a bummer, everyone in the group gave this winery a 1-zero star review. Low ratings for ambience, service and wine quality. Very unfriendly, and they were pouring miniscule amounts compared to the other wineries. They were more interested in conversing with the driver that had brought us vs us -their 13 customers. They refused to let us taste white wines (we asked) - instead they just kept pouring reds. Bummer since our friends had come from all across the country and two of them only experienced Hagafen - not good. Do not go here - Platypus wine tours books them for some reason, we went to Mumm and Pestoni Estate prior to this stop, they were both top notch, just skip Hagafen!

Yelp
I visited three different wineries in Napa Valley over the weekend and this was by far my favorite. The vineyard is beautiful and the patio we sat on was cool and breezy and most importantly, every wine we sampled was incredible. I wish I had bought more wine while I was there! They do have a wine club which I am considering membership for to get special pricing. You know you're in the right place when you see framed menus on the wall in the gift shop showing that their wines have been served in The White House!

Yelp
It's hard to dislike a winery in this area, but I still want to say this one was great! This is a smaller, less commercial operation that is riddled with knowledge, experience, and love. Our server was Jesse and he was so attentive and wonderful. He asked us what we like and tried to cater the tasting + some additional that he thought we'd like (which we did)! The winery gathers grapes from their crops as well as 2 other locations, and honestly have quite a variety. You could tell the staff was vibing with all their groups, so no matter who you get you'll have fun and enjoy the wine. We loved the Syrah and Malbec, which isn't the most common for the area so it was nice. This is a great spot if your group is diverse in the types of wines they like because of how many grapes/varieties they offer! They charge $45 for a tasting, but wave it if you spend $50 on a bottle. Their wines aren't as expensive as many of the neighbors, so it's definitely worth the value to buy wines! Thank you so much for offering this, and for our server who recommended it. We sat outside which was partially sunny and partial shade, so perfect for a Spring day. The inside is very small so I gather most all their tastings are outdoors. They have a chicken coop and lots of lawn ornaments in the eclectic farm theme - definitely not your typical Napa winery. The place is very fun and enjoyable, not so rigid and commercial would be the best way to describe it - go here if that's what you're looking for!
google avatar

Niina G.

Yelp
Wow $45 per person for tasting is a little bit obscene . Service is great and friendly as all other winey and this place has pretty cute outdoor pastor to sit down, but sorry it's just not worth paying $100 for two just for tasting. We did find excellent sweet Reiseling though, and that's what we went there for. I ended up buying 3 bottles to get the tasting fee waived. Btw the BOGO tasting on Yelp is not valid on the weekend so just be aware.
google avatar

Elizabeth X.

Yelp
Vibes were good and staff is friendly. They allow you to bring your own food, which is nice. But our staff did forget to bring us 2 of the 5 tasting samples - we had to ask for them. Outdoor seating area is cute and separated for each party. The tasting came out to be about $50 dollars.
google avatar

Jenna I.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience wine tasting at Hagafen. The entire staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the wines. The outdoor setting was beautiful, and we loved having our own personal area to taste. The whites were exceptional! I highly recommend the Pino and the Chardonnay.

Yelp
The best part about Hagfen Cellars is the grounds: it's really great landscaping with gorgeous flora and an abundance of wildflowers, loads of seating options both in and out of the sun, games (like cornhole), etc. It's very relaxed and very inviting! However... I'm going to have to copy and paste what another reviewer said: "the staff seemed annoyed and weren't friendly. No one explained any of the wines or varietals, they were just pouring like it was an assembly line." Yep, that's *exactly* what we got too. And, when a large tour bus showed up, the guy essentially kicked us out so he could host them -- way to make us feel welcomed. And the wines themselves? Nothing stood out for me. Maybe if we had an ounce of personalization or explanation or passion from the gentleman pouring we might have been more invested too, but we just weren't.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs at Hagafen Cellars. We were graciously greeted with "breakfast wine" (a tasting of delicious rosé), and then taken on a private tour of the property to learn about the wine making process. If you have with any preconceived notions of Kosher wine, Hagafen Cellars will quickly squash them. The wines were all fantastic, which was well complemented with a lovely ambiance (for both you and your pup) and friendly service. I'd highly recommend a visit to this winery on a trip to Napa!
google avatar

Noa D.

Yelp
Beautiful intimate vineyard with a lovely dog friendly patio. The price of tastings are going up across the board, but Hagafen waives a tasting fee for each bottle of wine you buy. Although the landscape was beautiful, it didn't stand out as somewhere I would prioritize returning to.

Yelp
We are SO glad we found this spot! It's a wonderful little Gem in Napa Valley. We've been taking recommendations from friends during this trip but my boyfriend searched for more affordable wine tastings and we decided to check this place out! In Napa, a tasting can run from the $70-$80 range for one person... which is a bit crazy. The prices here were much more affordable AND we walked away with 4 bottles! And the wine was GOOD!!! $45 for tastings per person but they are waived if you buy $50 worth of wine per person. THIS IS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS FOLKS! So not only did we get two tastings with extra pours but we also walked away with 4 bottles wine! Other places charge too much. Tastings are supposed to get you to buy wine... but if you're charging $60 for a tasting but then they tell you you have to buy 2 bottles that are $80+ to waive ONE tasting... that's not going to make me want to buy any wine. Vince was pouring for us and made our visit super fun and upbeat. Cool guy! He made the overall experience and atmosphere just so much more enjoyable than some of the other wineries we've been to. Super chill vibes, great conversation and exceptional service. Give this guy a raise! It's a quirky spot with awesome artwork and yummy wine. Go right now!

Yelp
Visited Hagafen Winery with my daughters and sister. It was a perfect day...80 degrees and clear skies. The staff was super personable and friendly. Oh, and the grounds....outstanding! Lovely landscaping surrounds a beautiful patio setting complete with comfortable seating. We didn't want to leave. Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Wineries are open in Napa again! Hagafen is a small, family-owned winery on the Silverado trail that's been open since 1979. You can make a reservation for parties of 4 or fewer on their website for outdoor seating. You just request a time and they email you back pretty quickly with the confirmation. I made a reservation for a tasting for me and boyfriend for a Saturday at 12 PM. Getting here is pretty easy since it's right on the Silverado Trail where a lot of the main wineries are. We took an Uber here from downtown Napa which was only a 10 minute ride (I was worried Uber wouldn't be reliable, but if you're staying in Downtown Napa its totally fine). We were greeted warmly but the lovely staff and seated immediately at an outdoor table with bottled water. Compared to other wineries in Napa, Hagafen is really quaint which makes it really lovely - the scenery is very peaceful, they even have chickens on the property and sell eggs. The staff tasting is $45 per person and included 5 different wines including a Riesling, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Merlot and a Cabernet Franc. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about all the wines, he even let us taste a few extra wines such as the Pinot Noir, since I'm a huge Pinot fan. Every wine was really delicious so it was hard to choose what to get, but we ended up leaving with 2 bottles: an oaky Chardonnay and the Merlot. For every $50 you spend, they waive a tasting fee, so it would be silly not to get at least 2 bottles of wine in my opinion! We spent about an hour and a half here and had a fantastic time here. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for great wine in Napa!
google avatar

Heidi O.

Yelp
I never considered myself a Napa person, but my husband surprised me with a trip to Hagafen this past weekend. And honestly, if Hagafen is what Napa is all about, I'm a HUGE fan. Phil set the tone from the start with so much warmth and charm (even taming my mom's combative attitudes about wine and winning her over ... literally a miracle). Past the atmosphere, which is 10/10, the wines themselves were ALL stars. I could not name one I tasted (and we tasted a lot) that I didn't really enjoy. We ended up buying a bunch of bottles, which waived the $45 tasting fee. I am considering joining the club because I had such a great time. I also appreciate that they were welcoming to my two kids, because for obvious reasons, the area is a little tough to book when you're bringing little ones. Phil, can't wait to visit again, keep doing what you're doing!

Meghana N.

Yelp
This happened to be one of the very few places that was open on Christmas and we were very happy that we decided to visit Hagafen. This is a small, cute and charming winery. The staff was extremely warm, friendly and welcoming. We did not have a reservation and they still let us in since it was the holidays. They have a very nice seating in their garden area. We really liked their Syrah red wine and the view from the seating area was wonderful.
google avatar

Yelp
What an amazing experience @Hagafen! Last minute 'stop-by' trip to Napa, called for an appointment, got super lucky. Scored a spot. Outdoor patio, scenic, serene, sunny perfect weather. An hour and half of happy tasting *not to mention safe* well designed spacing between other tasters. Great history and introduction to the winery. Friendly helpers with good convo. They all wore mask to protect us. We tried the $45pp pick-ur-own tasting, waived when you purchase a bottle. Will be back soon.

Yelp
Wowwww amazing place!!. Marissa was one of the best, great time, great wine, great journey!! We will be back here for sure!!

Yelp
What a little gem. We enjoyed this relaxing setting so much. Great information about Kosher wines and how they create them. Vince was the perfect host. Answered all our questions and was very engaging and fun. We ended up buying some bottles and had them shipped. They arrived back in Texas in two days!

Yelp
After coming from Del Dotto, we decided to visit Hagafen Winery. Much less commercialized and felt super homey and personal. Redeemed the two for one tasting and I loved what I sampled. The actual room for tastings was small so definitely take advantage of the outside. We got to walk around the property between tastings, try some grapes, and, most importantly, pet Murphy, the Vineyard dog!! The ladies pouring at the counter were super friendly and great about sharing information about the winery. Check it out!
google avatar

Andrew R.

Yelp
Awesome wines, great accommodating service, and nice selection of library wines. Would 100% go back!

Walter F.

Yelp
An interesting small winery with low-key and relaxed setting. They were flexible with our tasting, accommodating our different preferences. We left with several bottles ... :-)
google avatar

Renee F.

Yelp
I love this winery! The wines are all really good and Marissa is such an awesome host. I love red wine but my best friend has a sweet palate and both of us left with wines that we loved. The grounds are beautiful and I appreciate that it isn't as commercialized as other vineyards in the valley. They have chickens on-site and sell fresh eggs too! If you're in the valley I definitely recommend stopping by- they are on Tock so making reservations are easy (you can get there from their webpage too). I 100% recommend trying their Riesling if you like sweet wines and their cab franc if you like red wines. I can't wait to stop by again.

Yelp
Hagafen was our 2nd stop in Napa, and while it was quite different from Artesa, I enjoyed my visit as well! We were stuck in traffic so unfortunately we missed the tasting times because they close at 5. But luckily, we caught them right at 4:50pm and bough 2 bottles to share among the 4 of us in the outside patio. We went with the 2018 Sauvignon Blanc and 2018 Dry Riesling, and we were all big fans of the wines! We sat in the outdoor patio area where they were games and lots of seating options. Hagafen is nowhere near as well-known as many of the other wineries in the area, but should definitely be on your list!
google avatar

Augusto T.

Yelp
A relaxing, intimate tasting. The tasting room at Hagafen is small and cozy. It is basically just a standing bar. Our pourer was extremely friendly and very passionate about the wine industry. We tried both of their regular Hagafen wines and also their Prix reserve wines. It was enjoyable trying some of the same grapes having undergone different processes. I ended up picking up a bottle of the Hagefen Sauvignon Blanc and a bottle of the Prix Pinot Noir. Tasting fees are now the standard at Napa, but at least they waive them with the wine purchase. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the weekends on peak months, but on a drizzly weekday it was a great experience and I definitely recommend checking them out.
google avatar

Yasmeen S.

Yelp
10/10 experience and more enjoyable than many of the bigger places in Napa!! Lovely folks, and if you buy $50 worth of wine/their farm fresh eggs/merch, you get the $45 wine tasting free! You get a five wine tasting - and they added in a couple others we were interested in trying. The only kosher Napa winery too which is cool! Thank you Hagafen for the best experience :)
google avatar

Richa M.

Yelp
Amazing hospitality and wines. Great seating arrangement. Very relaxing. A must visit
google avatar

Cate H.

Yelp
I came here with a few friends after making a last minute reservation and it was a great experience! Super casual and laidback. We sat outside under a pergola with eclectic patio furniture that overlooked the beautiful vineyard. Marissa poured most of our wines, and would stop to chat with our group like we were old friends. We did a basic tasting- if I remember correctly it was 2 whites and 3 reds. Before we left we bought a couple bottles that cancelled out the price of our tasting- which was SUPER worth it. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for a chill time with their friends in a gorgeous location. Thanks Hagafen!
google avatar

Anny N.

Yelp
We been there last Saturday and everything is exactly what we expect. The winery is beautiful with the beautiful nature around. Wine tasting is only $45 and on top of that if you buy some bottles of wine over $50 you don't pay for the wine tasting fee. That the best deal ever. Make sure to make appointment before on the website.
google avatar

Jj A.

Yelp
We had the perfect afternoon at Hagafen Cellars. We were seated at a lovely bench in the very front of the outdoor tasting area. It was a peaceful, intimate setting and presented gorgeous views. It was not crowded at all. We were able to take our time, have all of our questions answered, and our tasting was customized based on our interests. (We only wished we brought some cheese and crackers since they allow you to bring food.) We ended up staying for 3 hours! We had a wonderful experience.

Yelp
BOGO tasting, BUT NOT ON SATURDAY! Great experience here, but when you search "Free Wine Tasting Napa" in Yelp, Hagafen comes up first. We looked at their page and saw the check-in offer, which was a BOGO for tasting. We thought that would be a great deal for the four of us. Then when you walk in and are handed the tasting list, you see at the bottom "...no discounts on Saturday..." Well okay, time to rethink our plan! We felt it our duty to make sure the YELP world knows about this caveat before heading here for 'free tastings'! Tasting is $25 for five tastings. For three of us that really wanted to taste that would have been $75. Instead, we decided to buy a bottle to share, much more economical. Then we asked to try a few of the reds to decide which bottle. The employee was completely cool with that and we finally decided on their Don Ernesto Clarinet. It was a great light red wine to start the day. This little winery is eclectic to say the least. Odd decorations sprinkled throughout the grounds. Random metal work of odd shaped sizes and configurations. I can appreciate the outdoor activities and seating they offer for their guests. Large, outdoor Yahtzee was my favorite. Corn hole, which is pretty normal these days. They had a large cutout to snap pics too. Plenty of different seating for lounging, picnicking, or just hanging out. Don't forget to scope out the chicken coop. It isn't anything amazing, but its in the back and you can peep it. However, close your nose, because it seems to right by a compost pile...well at least that's what we think/smelt it was. The two fellas were laid back and really relaxed. Cracking jokes and cussing, totally cool in our book. They are knowledgeable, but relaxed. They are welcoming and the opposite of stuffy and pretentious, as many deem Napa to be. Red wine at 10AM indicates a great day!

Yelp
Hagafen winery is a small vineyard producing some award winning and exquisite wines. The sampling area is a small bar area and you'll have to crowd around if there are a lot of folks. There is a small section with some outdoor chairs to relax and soak in the sun and atmosphere. The price for the tasting that we tried were 5 samples for $20. I ended up trying all the reds: Pinot, Clarinet, Syrah, Crescendo, Cab Franc and Cab Sauvignon. Also tried a couple of the whites. Their computer system went down so we had to pay cash and they let us try a couple extra wines as a result. Normally there's maybe 1-2 wines I like but thought all the reds were delish. One of their deals is if you buy a bottle of wine they will waive the sampling fee so basically if you buy a bottle, the wine samples are free. Great deal! Of course I bought myself a bottle. If you check in on Yelp there's a BOGO wine tasting too. Another great deal!

Yelp
Great Gem in Napa. Beautiful setting. Excellent and delicious wines. Our favorites- Chardonnay and Rose! The servers are friendly and knowledgeable of each wines history. We visit Hagafen Cellars each time in Napa since 1998.

Yelp
Wonderful experience! Easy to book reservations online, and easy going, friendly staff (thank you Vince!). We bought a few bottles including a couple 2020 Hagafen Lake County Rieslings, which I quickly regretted not buying more - so delicious! Was a peaceful, chill time, and great tasting experience. Super appreciated the outdoor heat lamps (it was a pretty chilly day) and that our dog was welcomed as well!

Yelp
An absolute GEM!!! I chose this winery because it came recommended as having a variety of wines to include sweeter wines which my date preferred; but it had so much more to offer. Great location on the Silverado Trail close to the hills with amazing views. The ambiance was inviting and peaceful. The best part was Marissa our wine expert who was absolutely delightful. We had a very intimate private area, it almost felt like the winery was all ours. Will definitely be returning and recommending this winery in the future.
