Excellent experience, flavorful food, and very friendly staff. Happy hour drinks were delicious. Sous chef who provided teppanyaki show/service did a fantastic job. Would recommend and would return.

🍣 Hagi Sushi – Hua Hin ⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ 🍽️ Food: ⭐️⭐️☆☆☆ The sushi is presented well, but the taste is quite basic and lacks distinction. While not unpleasant, it felt a bit bland — especially at this price point. 👨‍🍳 Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The staff were absolutely lovely — polite, attentive, and warm. Excellent service all around. 🎎 Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Charming setting with a relaxing ambiance that makes the experience more pleasant. 💸 Value for Money: Extremely overpriced for what is, at its core, very standard sushi. You might find more flavorful sushi at a simple mall stand.

Hagi is a long established restaurant in HH, and mostly fully booked every night so I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. While the food is very good it’s not mind-blowing and YES it’s expensive. I recently visited the Fuji chain and their quality was better. Having said this the staff are lovely (but this is usual in Thailand) and the atmosphere tranquil. Recommended but bring your platinum Visa card.

Had a private dinner for 12, special set menu arranged with wine pairings from Japan. Food delicious and service excellent. Discreet but attentive. Highly recommended as the best Japanese in Hua Hin. They also offer a great buffet deal on Mondays and Fridays.

Dropped by Hagi for a late-night bite. We had the agadashi tofu, ebi tempura on rice, and edamame, everything was fresh and tasted great. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we walked right in without a booking. Great spot for a casual late dinner

Monday night buffet night is the time to visit Hagi. Make sure you have a reservation as it gets packed 1250Thb for the buffet which is high but it is sensational. All food is high quality and a great range of sushi sashimi gyoza tempura teppenyak grilled meat and seafood and a very impressive dessert spread.

Great experience with chief cook for tepanyaki, Toa! Cooks excellent & is a great entertainer!!! Mastered by sommelier Zinfandel, not a wine, that's his name! Don't miss! You gonna enjoy 🫶🏻

This is now our top favorite Japanese restaurant here in Hua Hin! The salmon and tuna sashimi melts in your mouth, the Surf & Turf with Wagyu beef, avocado, shrimp tempura topped with wasabi and soy sauce is also a mix of so many fresh incredible flavors. The gyoza was also delicious, accompanied with tempura. We finished with strawberry and green tea ice cream.
