I was traveling with my family, and we stayed here to visit Manhattan, using the convenient PATH train to enter the city. The hotel lobby is nice, the check in was a breeze and the way the hotel set up was different than what we have seen. The hotel was located in the Indian area so plenty of accessible restaurants with delicious Indian food right outside. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel's proximity to the PATH train so we will definitely be returning.

This hotel has a convenient location, especially if you plan to visit NYC without a car. The walking distance to the PATH Station is less than 5 minutes. If you enjoy Indian food, there are numerous Indian restaurants nearby, offering a variety of options. The rooms appear to have been newly renovated and were clean, featuring comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, microwave and a mini-fridge. I appreciated the 24/7 front desk service and the free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we enjoyed it. I highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in the Jersey City/New York area.

I stay at 4 and 5 star hotels during my travels. I took a chance and stayed at this dump. Biggest regret ever and unfortunate reminder why I don't deal with mom and pop motels. This dump is dated, dirty and infested with roaches. I checked out the same night I checked in.

Avoid at all cost! The manager charged my card $150 when I did not stay in the room. I booked the room third-party who didn’t charge me because I never stayed or checked in the room. The third-party company called the hotel so they would not charge the card. The manager said he’s going to charge my card anyway because it’s Thanksgiving and they’re busy. I never checked in the room, was never given a card and the room was never given out. But I was charged. The third-party company didn’t understand that either and was just as upset about it as I was. Rude manager and shady people. I will be calling my bank and reversing the charge.

2024 Updates: Some things changed since last review. The hotel maintenance is still not good. When we checked in the shower door was stuck in its place. When we went to front-desk, the guy tried to blame me for late check-in. Upon asking why my check-in late would cause issues with door, he tried to contact someone to fix it. Not to mention, I called up informing that we will check-in late in night. One guy came and told he will come back early in the morning but he never showed up. After a very long journey, everyone was tired and wanted to take shower before sleep but we could not. But the ladies at the desk in the morning were fantastic, provided another room for shower and also got it fixed very quickly. Looks like coil beds and didn't feel comfortable. Last time we got kitchen but not this time, not sure if any change. I booked it due to my past experience. Parking $30 per day opposite to hotel need to be factored in. Overall, if I come back again, I would look and compare other options also. First review in 2018: We had a nice stay at this hotel. People are nice and are willing to help / provide items requested. If you are Indian and looking for Indian food, it is the place you got to stay. All Indian restaurants and Indian grocery stores are here. Just 5 min walk to Journal Square so you can easily go to NY. It has kitchen so you can cook items. It could have been better, if they had given a few basic utensils for cooking. We were FOUR and had to ask for towels every day, they don't put necessary towels but provide when we go to front-desk, which is a little bit inconvenient. If you need car parking, you may want to call up in advance. They have only 3 parking slots for an addition pay. Other than a couple of minor issues, rest all is excellent with this hotel.

It's a motel, not a hotel. With that said, you'd have to expect some flaws. These are places you don't go to to spend a few nights. This is just something you spend a few hours in, do your business, and leave.

I stayed there when I first came to USA. That time I was looking for an apartment. It was January with a blizzard.I stayed there for 2 weeks. Everything was good. The price was also affordable. The only issue was poor internet connection that time. Otherwise the location is very good. It is not a 5-star hotel. So don’t set your expectations like those ones. But its good enough to spend some days with tight budget. The location is also very good- near the restaurants,path station and bus.

The rooms do need a little TLC, however the price is very good. The location is perfect with plenty of Indian and Halal restaurants, also plenty of grocery stores in the area. The staff is very nice and attentive, which is a plus. Also it is located in Journal Square, where you can catch multiple buses and Path Train as well! If you're on a tight budget while vacationing, this is the place for you.
