What an incredible day!! Michael is a master angler that took us to where all the kings and halibut were. We caught our daily limit! What made the day is that he is friendly, funny and easy going. He’s got the best music playlist ever!! We loved his stories and gave us tons of pro trips. He knew exactly how to navigate the commanding waters and weather, always keeping our safety top priority. We’re so happy that we met Michael and that he guided us with the utmost respect for the land, water and fish. Eco-tourism at its finest! To everyone considering Haida Gwaii Fishing charters: Book a full day (or 4!!) and you won’t be disappointed!! You’ll have plenty of time to take in the magnificent scenery of Haida Gwaii and you won’t pressured for time. Michael is as excellent as guides get. He is the REAL DEAL!! Haawa!

We had a fantastic day of fishing with Michael during our holidays in Masset BC! Michael was super helpful and took the time to figure out where the fish were, we found fish! He also was a great teacher to educate us on how to properly fish, especially for halibut! We shared a lot of laughs and had a great day of fishing considering it was the off season. We are planning to rebook with Michael in May or June 2024. Can’t wait!

This was our second time out with Michael and these have been our best two fishing trips ever. He knows the area very well and you can be guaranteed a great day.

This was an epic day. Michael is very knowledgeable and patient. This was all of our first time ocean fishing. He taught us a lot and was funny. Would highly recommend to any skill level. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

I was able to spend 3 days with Michael reeling in some fish!! What a blast, caught consistently ALL 3 days. He knows where they are! Also caught a Halibut of a life time, 50+ Pounder. Fat Turkey!! Loved it.

Amazing day on the water with Michael! He was very accommodating for a last minute half day trip for my pregnant wife and I. We were hoping for halibut and Michael succeeded in getting us multiple hookups throughout the morning and ending with a full limit of beautiful halibut. It was excellent company and we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
