HAIDVOGL MAVIDA Zell am See

An okay place, but not in city centre of Zell am see. It takes about 30 min to walk there, but it is a really nice walk by the see. There was a very nice bar at the hotel with a very good barkeeper. The restaurant was closed so we couldnt try it. The hotelrom was a bit small but ok. A minibar would be great. We didnt have breakfast, as 30 euro is pretty much for that. Just keep in mind that there is not many places to eat around there.

The hotel is absolutely fantastic. Stayed with my family & we all was amazed by the hospitality of the staff eerecwere si accommodating.. The manager of hotel she was unbelievable her people skills are excellent, unfortunately forget her name.. I can't recommend the hotel high enough . Breakfast was allways hot , and when thungs ran out the chef allways cooked what you requested.. We was also given business tickets which meant free travel to all buses & 10 % discount on all excursions. Was the first bed & breakfast we been to which offered hot ,& cold drinks all day long .Can't recommend this hotel high enough 👌 🙌

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The area is very quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning — truly a breathtaking sight to wake up to. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, and the front desk staff, both male and female, were extremely kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It was very clean throughout, which made us feel comfortable right away. The reception staff were extremely nice and welcoming, and they gave us a room with a lovely view of the hotel’s pool. The mattress was a little worn out and might be uncomfortable for some, but it was okay for us. Breakfast was decent—nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. The location was alright, not central, but all the essentials were nearby like a supermarket, bank, ATM, and restaurants. Overall, a good stay with great cleanliness and friendly service.

I've read all the reviews up until a year ago, and not a single one mentions the Porsche rental service! I discovered this hotel four years ago precisely because it offered this rare and exclusive service. At the time, I rented a Boxster Spyder, a splendid and rare model, but I didn't stay with them. Since they change models often, last weekend I decided to return and rent a 911 Turbo S, so this time I booked the Superior Spa room for two nights, intending to rent the car to enjoy the famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road. The room is elegant and clean, with a balcony overlooking the mountains and a nice bathtub. I loved the breakfast. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the lake and about 30 minutes from the center, which can be reached via a pleasant walk overlooking the lake. I didn't use the spa or pool, so I can't comment. **Fantastic Family Ski Stay – Highly Recommend!** ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ||||We had a brilliant stay at this hotel during our recent ski trip as a family of five (two adults and three children). The location is perfect—just a short walk to the ski slopes and ski school, making everything super convenient. The hotel also has a great boot room to store all our ski gear, which was really handy. ||||We stayed in one of the family rooms in a separate building from the modern part of the hotel. While it wasn’t the newest section, it was exactly what we needed. The room was compact but well-designed, with two single beds, a sofa bed for our youngest, and another separate room for us. There was plenty of storage with big wardrobes for all our ski gear. ||||One of the highlights for us was the **spa area**—our children absolutely loved the pool after a full day of skiing! The sauna and steam room are 16+, so we took turns enjoying those while the kids had fun in the pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also ate at the hotel restaurant one evening, and they were very accommodating for children. On other nights, we tried some of the great local restaurants nearby. ||||Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would **highly recommend** this hotel for a ski trip! Always smiling, very polite, and honestly made such a great first impression when we entered the hotel. She’s the kind of person who makes you feel welcome right away!

Beautiful hotel. Super location for skiing in Zell am See and Kaprun.. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are big, comfortable, and clean. Great buffet selection in pop up area and spa is amazing. Loved our stay. Group of 9 friends for ski weekend.
