Google
Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere and very kind employees. We tried the Vinaigrette Cobb Salad and the Korean Fried Chicken Sammy, and they were absolutely delicious. The sandwich comes with a lot of chicken hanging off of the side, so we tried cutting some off and putting it in the salad, and the flavors paired so well together!! I would definitely recommend doing the same if you happen to order both. Absolutely delicious chicken sandwich, too! I'm from out of town but when I find myself in the area again I will definitely be coming back!!!

Google
The food is second to none. It's always flavorful and unique. My husband had a breakfast sandwich and 2 lattes. He raved about both. I had avocado toast on gf bread. The toppings were amazing. The bread left a little to be desired. The texture was crumbly and a little under toasted or maybe stale. Hot green tea was good. I've been here several times and find the staff to be a little aloof. Friendly enough once you initiate an order, but fairly steely upon entry. They have some beautifully handmade chocolates that I can't wait to try on my next visit.

Google
The best restaurant in Northwest Arkansas. Hail Fellow Well Met nails the balance of design-forward space and seriously good food. We had the burger, breakfast sandwich, yogurt with granola, and a Benjamins (my FAVORITE)—everything was phenomenal. Coffee is top-tier— our friends said it was the best pourover they’d ever had in their whole life. (!) I always get an expresso and it’s so so good. You can feel the care in every detail, from ingredients to service. A must-visit for brunch, coffee, happy hour / dinner! Thank you!!

Google
Always happy to stop by Hail Fellow! Food is excellent and coffee and pastries are always a 10/10. New ordering process that was a little bit confusing but they are constantly busy so I understand trying out new methods for efficiency.

Google
Hail Fellow Well Met exceeded expectations! The food was delicious, with beautiful presentation. Portion sizes were fair for the price. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with unique decorations. Staff were friendly and attentive. Perfect spot for a chill evening or remote work session. Comfortable seating, ample natural light, and minimal distractions. Highly recommend for foodies and digital nomads alike. Will definitely return! Great addition to Springdale's dining scene.

Google
What an amazing spot this is! They have a cute little wine bar in the front and then a large dining in the back which is beautifully designed. Not just is the atmosphere wonderful, but the loaded kimchi fries are absolutely to die for!! They have sweet potato fries, with a perfect balance of the kimchi, and then candied pork belly mixed it. Seriously. Chef’s kiss.

Google
Very aesthetically pleasing interior and good food! After looking at the menu and ordering with the cashier we were immediately seated by a window, it was a very nice view while we ate. The avocado, bread, and tomatoes were a perfect complement to the eggs and my latte was really good as well. The only downside is they don’t have any substitutes for their bacon and I can’t eat pork, but the barista was very kind and I was able to get more eggs to substitute the bacon. My fiancé ordered a double shot and the barista came out to talk to us about where the espresso is sourced from, the notes we’d find in the coffee, and other super cool information. They also had pastry options and we ordered a chocolate croissant as a dessert afterwards. I definitely would come back to this location and order something else from their menu.

Google
First time patron. Looked at the menu online and wasn't sure about eating here. We ended up having a great experience. We had a party of eight and everyone was very pleased.

Yelp
Everything is amazing. Staff. Amazing Food. Amazing. The. Place. Is. Incredible. Go see for yourself. It's one of the most beautiful coffee shops I've ever been to in all the countries and years I've traveled. The ambiance is perfect.

Yelp
Been a few times. There is not much to say but that this place is amazing. Great food. Great drink. Great service. Comfortable atmosphere. It's a wonderful place for a date or a group meal. Highly recommend. I will be back.

Yelp
Nice place with a good vibe. Cocktails are unique and very good. Atmosphere was very nice and service was good.

Yelp
Passed this place numerous times while visiting someone in a nearby hospital and noticed it always had cars around it. Loved the name and made a point of going by on my way out of town. So glad I did! My only regret is that I didn't stop early enough to sit and enjoy the ambiance. My coffee was delicious and then realized it was Onyx which I always enjoy. Looking forward to being back in town so I can make a stop and enjoy for a while!

Yelp
We brought my in-laws here while they visited from Portland. They were huge fans of the atmosphere and trendy culture of the cafe. Service was extremely friendly, food was delicious, and the menu had a lot of unique selections. We had the Bakers Breakfast, the salad, and bulgogi sandwich. To drink, we had the peach latte and FOMO. All of it was delicious and flavorful. We will continue coming back to dine here, as it's been a hit both times so far. The music was also dancing baby friendly

Yelp
Food is so good. I always love the avocado toast. The staff is always friendly and the entire vibe of the place is great. It is a great place to hang with friends or just work at for a few hours. No wonder the place is always packed!

Yelp
Hail Fellow Well met is always a great brunch spot with a cool atmosphere with very unique dishes that are beautifully served. My only complaint is how expensive breakfast is but it's worth it every once in a while! Definitely a try if you're in town!

Yelp
I am not a big brunch person, so when I tell you I had an amazing brunch here that really says something. The menu had a large number of options for both more traditional breakfast foods, all with thoughtful preparation, and then some lunch items which is what we ordered. After seeing the muffuletta at another table, we decided we absolutely had to share that and a seasonal salad. Both were just exceptional, as was my Aperol spritz, definitely the fully leaded version! As it was a birthday brunch, we did treat ourselves to something from the bakery case, a cross between carrot cake and a breakfast roll with a big pile of fluffy cream cheese icing on top. Fantastic, and great fussy coffee drinks also. The only surprising thing is that you order at the counter and they run the food to you. I am usually a little turned off by this and prefer table service, but honestly the servers here were so helpful and upbeat, service was efficient (tap to pay!) and prompt as was the food delivery to your table. It is beautiful relaxed surroundings and your table is well attended to, so I honestly did not feel like I was missing out by not having a dedicated server. Things run more efficiently like this; The trick is to do so in a manner that the guest doesn't feel like they are at a fast food establishment, and they certainly managed to do that here. This is a place I plan to make a frequent favorite!

Yelp
Our cashier was amazing & so sweet, so that what an issue. I'm really disappointed with how much ice everyone is giving now in drinks! I have no issues paying $7 for a good coffee, but $7 for only half a cup is outlandish! I wish they'd this would end. Also, 4% employee benefit is wilddddd

Yelp
Pretty good burger. They quit selling the miss biscuit. Sad face. Pretty good and I'll miss that ham and gravy !

Yelp
This is a great spot to meet up for breakfast, brunch or coffee with a friend or a group of friends! They have an eclectic menu of unique food items and delicious-looking muffins and pastries as well. Coffee drinks, a wine bar. Ambience is fabulous, light, airy, there's patio dining and they have heat towers set up for colder days. Servers are friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Food great. Vegan options. Don't get the table near the gate entrance. Random people show up with their kids and hang out at a kid's table, while they wait for other restaurants, and it is annoying as heck. Kills the atmosphere.

Yelp
Oh what a suprise this place was! My once-a-month brunch pal and I have not been willing to drive this far, but always try somewhere local. This was a delight. We dined outside on a beautiful Sunday, had exceptional service and extraordinary food served beautifully. Drinks were priced on apar with most better places and were unusual and delicious. Highly recommend!

Christie d.

Yelp
Great ambience. Delicious coffees. Had the chicken salad sandwich for lunch and it was a huge portion and absolutely delicious. But don't forget to get the fries which were a treat! I worked there two different days while I was on business travel and will definitely return next time I am in town.

Yelp
Arrived at 10am on Saturday for brunch and only had a 15 minute wait. Service was great (kept up with water refills and gave us an extra plate to split or meals). Ambiance was comfortable and modern. Food was pricey, but absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Totally worth the brunch splurge!

Yelp
Great restaurant with beautiful food! I'm not typically one to photograph my food but this restaurant will make you want to. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Very professional service as well.

Yelp
I have been in some pretty unique restaurants but this one climbed its way to the top of that list. I'm not sure on why they did what they did to the inside but somehow it all works. Pastel mint color for the main seating area, unique railing to separate the middle area, greenery, curves, a large covered patio and more are what you should expect as far as the look of this place goes. The menu is just as unique and wild as the inside. I wanted to try so many things! They have wonderful looking pastries, brunch, dinner and drink options available. As much as I loved everything about this restaurant, I did not enjoy my chicken and waffles as much as I thought I would. The chicken did come off the bone surprisingly easy but was dry. It wasn't enough to fill me up either but luckily for me, others at our table needed help finishing their dish. My favorite that we ordered was the Rage Against The Muffalatta. Holy cow!

Yelp
I've been here twice now and definitely the food and coffee drinks are to die for. The atmosphere and vibe are great! I'm still confused, however about how this place works. I still don't know if I'm supposed to sit, or where I'm allowed to sit (something about the inside being reserved for brunch?) or where I'm supposed to order, and I hate being in a situation where I feel dumb and uncertain. But...I'll probably keep going back and trying to figure it out because the food is that good.

Yelp
HFWM, what a pocket of bliss. Located in up-and-coming Johnson, just outside Fayetteville, this cafe paints a picture of what the Midwest is capable of. Saturday brunch appealed to our party of 3, and we made reservations, but it somehow wasn't busy enough to necessarily warrant that. The staff were excellent, engaging, and kind, and service was prompt. After arriving at our cutesy table with strangely ergonomic fabric chairs, we started with a round of unique caffeinated drinks. Terracotta Latte, Sea Foam, and Me So Vanilla Latte. All perfectly executed and in our hands quickly. HFWM is a product of the famous Onyx Coffee, another local legend, so naturally their morning drink selections would be pristine. The food also came quickly, in the form of Rage Against The Muffaletta, the yogurt & granola, and Chilaquiles. Everything was delightfully presented, especially their instagrammable granola. And the flowery pickle spear atop the focaccia of the muffaletta was the most beautiful dressing of a pickle I've seen. That dish in particular feature a heavy dose of bread, perhaps instigating the ensuing nap afterwards, but that also made it one of the bigger quantity plates they offer. The ambience is akin to the primary Onyx Coffee location, featuring unique wood finishes, soft pastel colors, and very unique seating. There are plenty of plants, from the tree inside the front entrance to the hanging features throughout. And the main dining area is heavily green, but not in an annoying over abundance. It's a soft, pleasing atmosphere, perfect to meet friends and family, or to simply sit with yourself to enjoy a unique beverage and bite. If you do opt to work or read, the WiFi is exceptional, especially in the download department's triple figure. Lighting is bright and welcoming, and there was no overcompensation in conversation due to music or otherwise. In fact, I can't recall the existence of music. So it must've been faint. We left satisfied, senses appeased, and eager to bring others. Easily a 5 star experience all around, though my muffaletta was maybe a 4. Visiting Onyx (in Rogers) and HFWM in a day would surely be a dynamic duo to contrast the sister establishments. At least that's my plan!

Yelp
The space was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious. Despite the look of small proportions, the food was filling that I couldn't even finish it. The coffee was good as well!

Yelp
They fake as Phuck. And don't care how they treat people at the end of the day. I feel this business will never truly prosper because of it. They're gonna make money and be around but truly prosper doubt it. There's a way to do things and then there's just wrong. And they are wrong. I'm not talking about service Its much bigger than that.

Yelp
This place looks amazing, inside and out. The presentation of the food is top notch, as is the quality. However, the items are very pricey and we left still feeling very hungry. Additionally there is a drink listed under all of the espresso beverages that has no espresso. I ordered that and was not informed at the time of ordering, so then had to spend more on a beverage with caffeine.

Emma E.

Yelp
Decent place for taking yourself on a brunch date. The iced vanilla latte is always good here and the avocado toast is aesthetically pleasing and tasty but pretty tough to cut/chew through. The onyx bacon was cooked perfectly though. I was seated at a single table with two barstools that were pretty high up. I was practically sitting at the same level as my food was which was very uncomfortable the entire time I was eating; hunchbacked.
google avatar

Saloni G.

Yelp
Great ambience but they don't have much options for vegetarians. After a lot of wait, we got a reservation for Saturday afternoon. And half of the dishes were not available by then. Was an ok experience.

Yelp
After months of driving by I finally had the chance to pop in for breakfast. Clean, charming, mod-ish decor that felt friendly and comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was good quality, perfect for what I was looking for (although portion would have been small had I been hungrier.). Would recommend!

Yelp
Always have such a great experience when dining at HFWM cafe. Great people, amazing food and coffee, and a cute and chill atmosphere.

Yelp
Things to know before you go: 1) make a reservation (requires a deposit) for weekend brunch; walk-in wait times ~1-2hours 2) three entrances, no designated hostess stand, ask for the hostess 3) service is fair 4) food was delicious, wonderful textures, cooking techniques, & flavors

Yelp
We've been for coffee, for brunch and for Friday date night. We enjoyed it every time. Good menu and great drink options.

Yelp
Welp this is a new spot a friend suggested we meet up to have coffee and connect this morning. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. This is not just a coffee spot but a wonderful connecting point to sit and chat a while over a great cup of coffee sweet or savory bite to eat and even WINE! It is a bit pricy, but worth the indulgence and comfortable seating areas. Once entering you see why this place is so trendy. Once you order and have a seat you can feel while people linger. The place was packed while were were there at 10:30 on a Thursday morning. We sat in a little nook I. The front room..... the wine room! Comfortable, yet easy to hear and talk with each other. The details even down to the restroom is just beautiful. I will say the restroom was pretty dark for this more mature hen, I could find the light and figured maybe a bulb was out or I just couldn't figure out how to use the modern switch.... Who know. But all in all this will be a spot I return to in the future! It is just off I-49 and the parking. Lot is large enough that there should always be parking. So if you are googling and see the name, don't be too confused, take a sec and stop in, you will be happy you did!

Emily E.

Yelp
Beautiful space with an obnoxiously complicated menu and the most inefficient brunch process. I would not recommend coming here for brunch unless if you order to go, not worth the hassle.

Yelp
Very good dishes and environment, I love the Chilaquiles, and my favorite terra cotta coffee drink :) one of my favorite breakfast eateries!!

Yelp
Food was flavorful, cute place with a nice aesthetic. Not my favorite but it's a nice experience!

Yelp
What a lovely surprise! This place is located just a couple minutes off the Johnson exit. It's owned by Onyx. Everything we had was delicious. See pictures! The almond croissant had a filling inside of it. One of the best we've ever had. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the food and drink menus. It's a little pricey, but it was a great experience! We'll definitely be back sometime for the Pet Nat Patio in the evening.
google avatar

Rhonda C.

Yelp
Beautiful place with nice outside patio. Busy Saturday, so they did not offer any outdoor service. Ordered to go and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon I ordered the Bird (turkey) sandwich. I wanted to love it, but it was too large to eat as a sandwich. And the turkey was too salty I think from the smoke. That said, I will be back to try the brunch.

Yelp
For those of you who have been to the Onyx HQ in Rogers, do you remember that feeling when you first walked in and thought, "This is in Arkansas"? Prepare to have that feeling again! Hail Fellow Well Met is a new Onyx concept in Springdale/Johnson - an area I only visited because it is located next to another new gem, Pizzeria Ruby. It's currently going through a soft opening stage but seems to be Onyx with a bit more of a food/cafe setup. It's similar to most other Onyxs where you go to the front, purchase your drinks, pastries, and food, but with much more brunch options (e.g., shakshuka, souffle pancakes, etc.). They also have coffee beans and a side market (which seems temporarily closed?). Pros - The space is impressive. The interior is a bit close together, so it might not be the best for a pandemic environment, but it should provide a very pleasant atmosphere post-pandemic (kind of like a Holler vibe). Everyone who was there was dining on the outside patio, which is beautiful as well, and it's dog friendly. - Drinks are fantastic, just like every other Onyx. - The service level was top-notch, just like every other Onyx. Cons - None, but I haven't tried food outside of their table fruit plate. From an observational perspective seeing others' dishes and reactions, I don't expect to update this with any cons.

Yelp
Absolutely love everything about this place. The setting radiates good energy. Not to mention, the food is INCREDIBLE and super unique! It's one of those places you insist taking your out of town friends to. Top notch and one of the best hidden places in Fayetteville/Springdale region.
google avatar

Taylor M.

Yelp
Well Met is one of my absolute favorite places in Northwest Arkansas! Incredible service, delicious food, and guys...it's a whole vibe! The atmosphere is always giving the greatest energy, they never fail to have a great playlist going, and it's a place where I can meet a friend for morning coffee, work through the day, stop for lunch, and then have drinks in the evening. The place has it all!
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
Love this place!! Coffee and pastries in the morning and cocktail at night! Excellent service and really cool patio and decor! Can't go wrong!

Nicole W.

Yelp
I got the basic breakfast and the eggs were nasty and cooked weird and served liquidy in a bowl with a foul taste???? No idea what it was. And everything else was underwhelming. For $20 or whatever I paid I expected at least food I could eat without gagging.
google avatar

Nikki M.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and it is just one of my fav places to have brunch. The whole place is so aesthetic and great to dress up and take pictures in. The food presentation is great and it tastes great! Onyx coffee is always a 10/10! I only recommend getting a reservation for the weekend because it's a popular place!
google avatar

Haley U.

Yelp
I love this restaurant because it has a great brunch and coffee menu as well as a great happy hour appetizer and drink menu. Gluten free and dairy free options that still taste delicious. Would highly recommend the yogurt and granola for brunch with a terracotta latte or onyx delight.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
I think this was the best food I've ever eaten - in all honesty! Such a lovely place and great staff!

Donna W.

Yelp
Cute ambiance but very noisy. Our food was fine, especially the avocados. BUYER BEWARE: there is an automatic 4% charge for "employee benefits" in addition to a tip. There was no notice of this or we would have adjusted the tip. We had never seen an employee benefits charge at a restaurant before. So, we won't go back and will advise our friends
google avatar

Malia S.

Yelp
Wow! Finally made it down to this location (member of Onyx Coffee Labs family I do believe). They have coffee, wine, food! The atmosphere is sooo amazing and the patio is perfect! We left with a bottle of wine! Oh and did I mention they have macarons and charcuterie supplies you can buy!

Jonathan B.

Yelp
Ok, it's an "Onyx Establishment" so you know everything is done to perfection. The food and drink options are definitely out of the ordinary, and we are the better for it. Atmosphere is great and perfect for a casual meetup with friends or a business meeting. The bad: the prices are a bit high. This is forgivable given the uniqueness of the offerings. Here's the reason it's a two star and not a four or five star: we had added to our total a 7.5 % "employee benefits" fee. Don't get me wrong: I'm fine with employees getting benefits, and even maybe the customers directly paying for them from the tab. But to not tell us ahead of time, or post it anywhere near checkout seems dishonest and deceptive. Just tell us or include it in the menu cost. I will still go here as an OCCASIONAL treat since they are great, but doesn't seem like a good play on their part to not tell us.
google avatar

Jamie W.

Yelp
This place is hyper trendy, they have outdoor seating too. The coffee was really good, they have some interesting mixes, mine had dark Chocolate and cinnamon. The croissant was probably my favorite thing and will try the chocolate one next time. The yogurt bowl was very different but pretty. The prices are definitely on the high side but it was a fun place to visit.

Yelp
(This post is a continuation of my review) As a man of my word I had returned for my "not French toast", graciously due to my last review the ever most talented world class chef "Tyler" messaged me and offered to reserve one for me. I arrived, as a humble man with one mission upon me, to devour said toast with no remorse. The time had come and my plate was laid before me, again a beautiful arrangement of flowers fit for a kings wedding was encompassing my meal. The suspicious toast was definitely not French, this is years ahead of any of their culinary techniques. With my gathered intel my best assumption of origin would have to be Genovia. It leaves a mythical taste in your mouth yet demands justice in flavor. For those who may not know what their "not French toast" is, I would say it's closest resemblance is as if a German pancake and Japanese pancake had given birth unto this creation. My drink artist was a beautiful gentleman named Raul, amongst being able to create such an elegant beverage and having the most perfected tan I have ever seen, he was also fluent in German, such a refreshing experience. Again I am ever-most great-full to have had the chance to taste of such greatness. My utmost respect for the work they are accomplishing here. I was shallow to say that their workers are of the highest of beauty in thoughts of only their exterior, little was I aware that their true beauty is with them, the love they put into each dish, and the respect in which they treat each other and every client as tho we are all one family floating through space upon this small blue rock. 10/10 will always recommend, "Hail Fellow Well Met" stands up to its name.

Yelp
We dined in 3/17/23. Check for table availability before ordering there may not be any seats available. We asked the cashier and they told us we could look around and see(maybe have a better way to tally the seating availability rather than have the customer float around and see)The amount of food for the price of my dish(I ordered "the simple")was inadequate. The scrambled eggs were creamy in a bowl, the taste was good but not what I expected as far as the consistency. I had a mimosa and it was 6oz of liquid for $10, I'm not sure but I would bet that 4.5oz were orange juice. I'm a chef by trade and I've been in the kitchen industry from 12-43 years old, I'm not arrogant or presumptuous I may have just expected a different experience than what was offered. Recommendations: More coordination with front of house and dining area. Better descriptions of food/drink and the sizes of the items. The coffee is excellent!(Onyx brand)

Chi W.

Yelp
An ecclectic restaurant that ticks lots of boxes. Artisinal cafe? Check. Chef inspired renditions of classic dishes? Check. Edible Flower decorations on the dishes? Yep. We stopped in for Brunch and were a bit stumped on how to get into the restaurant. I mistakenly chose the side entrance by the outside bar but found my way to the hostess who seated us (you should use the entrance closer to Ruby's). Getting seated by a hostess and also being a fast casual establishment? Weird! The Muffletta and the Bahn Mi were amazing yet clearly not meant to be exact replicas of those classic sandwiches. Respect to the folks at the back of the house for putting these wonderful items together. We thoroughly enjoyed the flavors, presentations and size/value. My daughter wanted another piece of honey comb in her yogurt dish but enjoyed it anyway. The ear splitting club music on a Sunday morning was a bit much but not enough to lose a point but I'm feeling magnanimous today. The strange cement blocks do a great job stopping the loud music from sounding echoey. Don't forget to help yourself to water, ice and utensils on the high boy on the side under the to-go boxes.
