Haile Resort - Hawassa

The staff are very welcoming, from security guards to receptionists. Greetings many times over, with lovely smiles on their faces. You can tell that the building was constructed couple of years ago, due to the old fashioned fixtures, but it is relatively tidy up. The rooms are clean and well organized. The lake view rooms are a bit more expensive, but the view is breathtaking. |I wasn't a fan of the food.. I tried the tenderloin beef, but it wasn't tasty.. I felt it was just seasoned with salt.. Chef needs to do better, even the chicken fried rice wasn't encouraging. The complimentary buffet style breakfast was okay, but wasn't so diverse as there are lot more Ethiopian dishes. They need to make it more diverse for everyone.|I enjoyed the peace and quiet, and strolling alongside the lake was very refreshing.

By far, the best hotel I stayed in Ethiopia. Gorgeous, clean, with great food and incredible service. I’m sad to leave! The staff are so thoughtful, the spa services were great, the outdoor restaurant was absolutely stunning with views of lake Hawassa and blazing sunsets. The food, especially the Asian menu, is consistently great, and the staff has struck a perfect balance of attentive without being overbearing.

Excellent place and great resort staff. Food is amazing. Staffs are really nice and friendly. It has an awesome view overlooking the lake. The children playground is the cherry on top to keep your little one busy.

This resort is located next to the lake and has a really great view. On arrival , you will get a chance to experience a traditional dance. The hotel has a vintage vibe but it’s very well maintained. The staff are friendly and the food has a comprehensive Ethiopian cuisine. They also have a pool and spa

As a tourism professional who frequently visits Hawassa, I’ve the opportunity to observe many hospitality establishments; but few have impressed me the way Haile Resort has. During my visits, I am always moved by the warm & seamless experience provided by the entire team, starting from the friendly and attentive security at the gate to the dedicated front desk staff. His extraordinary cooperation and hands-on approach in ensuring every guest finds comfort and satisfaction reflects a rare kind of leadership and genuine care. You can feel the ripple effect of his standards in every corner of the resort (in the smiles, the prompt service and the relaxed yet professional atmosphere). The staff wow they are really really nice , they go extra mile to make sure you get what you want really caring staff with a smile in their face all the time The breakfast buffet is way better than I I most of the place , I didn’t need to pack anything for my 3 year old .I enjoyed my stay Thank you all the staff in the resort for all your assistance and kind and smiling faces
