Haile Resort - Hawassa

Haile Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and welcoming from arrival to departure. The facilities were spotless, with plenty of activities for the whole family. The breakfast buffet and dinner were both delicious with great variety. We felt truly well taken care of. Highly recommended—and next time we’re in Ethiopia, we’ll definitely stay longer!

I stay at this hotel every time I am in Hawassa and love it more each time. The staff is amazing. The rooms are clean with beautiful lake views and patios. The WiFi and food are excellent. Spa and salon services are also wonderful. This hotel is the best in class, and what makes it wonderful is the accommodating staff! Will always return.

The staff was very warm and welcoming. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The selection and quality of the food was excellent. We went on a boat ride with Mehima Mohammed and enjoyed the lake and looking for hippos. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort and would love to visit again.

This resort is located next to the lake and has a really great view. On arrival , you will get a chance to experience a traditional dance. The hotel has a vintage vibe but it’s very well maintained. The staff are friendly and the food has a comprehensive Ethiopian cuisine. They also have a pool and spa

While I loved the views, interior design, lake, pool, and food here, the rooms are a major disappointment for the price. They need significant improvement. The lack of soundproofing is unacceptable..you can easily hear everything from next door. Considering the overall cost, the subpar room quality undermines the otherwise positive experience and doesn't represent good value.

As a tourism professional who frequently visits Hawassa, I’ve the opportunity to observe many hospitality establishments; but few have impressed me the way Haile Resort has. During my visits, I am always moved by the warm & seamless experience provided by the entire team, starting from the friendly and attentive security at the gate to the dedicated front desk staff. My special Thank you goes to Ato Zemenu Baweke, whom I have seen him grow/progress virtically in his profession, and his presence and dedication truly stand out. His extraordinary cooperation and hands-on approach in ensuring every guest finds comfort and satisfaction reflects a rare kind of leadership and genuine care. You can feel the ripple effect of his standards in every corner of the resort (in the smiles, the prompt service and the relaxed yet professional atmosphere). Had a brief but WONDERFUL time at this hotel. The staff were ALL extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the wifi strength was perfect. This hotel is immaculately clean and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were EXCEPTIONALLY delish!! The views of the lake and the breathtaking sunset were both priceless!! Stay HERE at this hotel if you can!
