Haj Boujamaa Plates

The food was good and the service quite fast and professional. We had a tanjia (500g) which came with a huge bone that obviously counted towards the overall weight. At first we ate without paying too much attention to it but when we went to pay the bill, we asked the waiter if the bone counted towards the weight and he said yes and that we should have told him about it earlier. Obviously it’s easy to say that when the client is unhappy and you were clearly aware you sold a 500g made of at least 200g of bone. If they’d get more transparent about their portions, we would give a higher rating. The soups are good beside they put 5 pieces of sea food and call it sea food soup, that was ok !Also I want to add that I heard the waiter talking behind my back with his friend about me and my wife thinking we don’t understand Darija until his friend stop him and told him I speak the language and changed the topic.

Amazing delicious great stuff great service

Absolutely fabulous restaurant. The reviews driving their ratings down are injust in my opinion. We have been in Marrakech for 4 days now and this is the best dinner we had out of so many restaurants as we like to diversify when on holiday. Speedy service, attentive waiters happy to help with any inquiries and food tasted great. We will come back to Haj Boujemaa Plates for sure and would recommend it to everyone! Merci

The worst experience ever , everyone is talking about boujmaa fish so I gave it a try and it was so expensive and not the best . For 3 pieces of sardines they charged me 40dh which is so expensive for sardines price . 1Kg of sardines in the market now cost 17dh and they charged me 40dh for 3 pieces not even 200g not acceptable. I talked to the manger he was not helpful at all .

Very high turnover. The waiters just run around because of the flux of people. Relatively long wait for the food. The waiter forgot one order when we told him You will forget because he didnt note it down. The tanjia and tajines are good but the grilled dishes less so. I am neutral in recommending this restaurant.

Very good tagine, had the kofte one and it was delicious. Also can order meats from the grill in different sizes of weight. Free bread and dips were so good too and a nice addition! Good value for money!

It's quite astounding! Imagine arriving by taxi with the anticipation of enjoying a delicious Tagine dish, only to be served Moroccan "Merka" -some call it Dwaz- in a tagine plate instead! This is clearly misleading to customers, as tagine should be cooked in a tagine not in coconut. Additionally, you order a salad based on the menu, only to discover that two or three ingredients are actually missing. This unfortunate experience has left me with a negative impression of this unprofessional restaurant, and I certainly won't be returning. Nothing was eaten
