Great cabin style hotel room with a magnificent view of the lake. I also loved the relaxing music playing in the background. Friendly service at the reception and the restaurant. The special course dinner was superb, I highly recommend trying it out. The breakfast was amazing too!

Booked to stay for 2 nights, such a beautiful location by the lake and greeted by the incredbly kind host, Suzuki! Our room was spacious and peaceful and a great base for exploring Hakone. Breakfast was also filling and delicious and we also had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. Shout out to Suzuki's little cat too!

The apartment was super nice and clean! Cool furniture, cozy design, comfortable beds. We had such a nice view across the lake and spent the afternoon on the balcony reading and having a nice cup of coffee which we could prepare ourselves in the room. Staff were super-friendly but didn’t speak much English. The cafe/restaurant are also really nice furnished. Breakfast was also good, were not able to choose but just got a plate placed in front of us (which was delicious but as a vegetarian I wouldn’t eat the sausage and bacon provided).

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights in the “Annette” twin room with lake view. The view was breath taking, directly in front of lake ashi with Hakone Shrine in sight. The room itself was clean, spacious and soo comfortable. It had a very cosy wood cabin feeling to it. Best of all, the staff were amazing. Very warm and friendly. From the minute we walked in we felt very welcomed. If you stay here, I highly recommend dining here at least once as well. We had the set course dinner and it was so delicious, and such a good price! One of the best meals I have had on my trip so far. We also had both the american and japanese style breakfast, which were also great! This place is the best. Thank you Suzuki!!

Family-owned villa ran by a couple (and a cat), with the husband also the chef of the restaurant that specializes in Western-style cuisine. Both were super friendly and also welcomed us with daily refreshment juices. The hotel is < 10 minute walk to Hakone shrine and the nearby ferry terminal and Lake Ashi which makes it an ideal base for the area (I highly recommend getting the Hakone FreePass while visiting here). We visited during the early weeks of Japan re-opening when there weren't that many tourists (and unfortunately also fewer open restaurants and shops) so it was pretty quiet during our stay. The rooms are bigger than the average Japanese hotels which is a plus and the heating was also adequate for the cold nights. Breakfast time is limited to around 8:30 ~ 9 as it's prepared fresh by chef Suzuki and tastes pretty good. The only complaint I have during our stay is that the hot water needed several minutes of running water before it became warm which I felt is a bit wasteful on the water usage and also a bit inconvenient so hopefully this will be addressed for future guests.

A gem! This place is so homey I love it’s rustic theme. Has parking, near attractions, great view being right in front of the lake, everything inside is aesthetically pleasing. The owner’s restaurant is in the ground floor so it’s very convenient!! Food is great you will be surprised 😍. The owner and staff were all very friendly and their customer service is A+++. Gonna be my fave place when in hakone. Very budget friendly!

Great place. The meal prepared by Chef Suzuki was honestly the highlight of my trip. We stayed in the “Annette” room which is on the top floor facing the lake - I would recommend that one.
