Great craft beers - particularly the Amber and the Raspberry Saison (only available on tap at the top of the mountain). There isn't a tasting room or restaurant in 2025 - but the beers are available across the valley and in some restaurants in Tokyo and are worth seeking out.

Nice beer, delicious food, fresh ingredients, good service, great atmosphere, English menu, acceptable price and remember to book the table before you go. Unfortunately, they do not have their own glasses for their own beer.

Top location and premises with warm welcoming hosts. We had a wonderful stay at the Hakabu Brewery in late December 2016 and highly recommend Daniel our host. The apartment was perfectly aspected with a great view of the alps and very close to the chair lifts, well equipped and beautifully furnished. The lounge/dining/bar area is nicely furnished with an open fire and works well for small or larger groups. Everything about the brewery was well organised and thoughtful whist new. Ski hire was easily arranged, transport into the main area of Happo or other ski fields easy. The food and drink at the Brewery was hearty, yummy and reliable. Our family of 5 including 3 young adults had a top time despite being early in the season with not all lifts open - for Aussies it wassail good. We couldn't recommend this more highly.

What a waste of time. 5 beers but only 2 available. More room behind the bar than in front.

The beer is excellent. The place is warm and cosy. We had a chicken casserole which was very nice and comforting. Service is good. There aren't many places in Hakuba like this.
