This coffee shop checks all the boxes. First time to Toronto and I had a little bullet list of coffee shops and roasters I wanted to visit but with limited time in between the conference I just landed here and I am not disappointed. I visited Hale coffee a number of times in the week and ordered the same thing every time. The word that kept coming to mind when I was enjoying my triple oat milk latte was "drinkable". This espresso is drinkable. The space was cozy. I could definitely see myself visiting here occasionally. But honestly, good or bad, the standout at Hale Coffee was the bakery case. The bakery case carries the torch. Such tasty treats to enjoy! Occasionally of course. I remember the dark skinned black woman had an insanely beautiful smile. A young man behind the counter with a dope hat on a different day was incredibly knowledgeable about the La Marzocco, answering all of my silly questions. Just a cool spot with top tier snacks/treats and drinkable espresso. Nothing bad about Hale Coffee. Definitely recommend.

I have been to Hale Coffee many times to meet up with good friends. The coffee is very fragrant, the cookies and scones are delicious, the space is spacious and bright, and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Special thanks to Mr. Wayne, the skilled barista, who always has a smile and great service!

They make a great latte and americano! Came a few times in the last two weeks and have been impressed. There is a generous amount of seating and the baristas are very friendly. Highly recommend the halloumi scone.

I’ve been to hale coffee a few times now because it is close to my office and I have not been disappointed. The matcha there is really nice and I feel like it actually blends well with the milk. I tried a hot chocolate today thinking how good could a hot chocolate be, but it was actually quite good- it was not too sweet and tasted very chocolatey at the same time! The only thing is it is a bit on the pricier side.

I was curious about the taste of the iced floral tea, so the server kindly offered a small sample. It has a slightly tart flavor from the hibiscus, so I’d recommend adding one pump of sugar for balance.

The latte was rich and smooth, and the egg and cheddar sandwich hit the spot. Friendly service and a comfy atmosphere.

Best coffee I’ve had in Toronto so far. Had an oat milk latte with the miso muffin, both were excellent 🤌

Got vanilla flat white and butter croissant, croissant was really good but the coffee was really sweet and couldn't taste the coffee flavor as much. Nice atmosphere.
