Half Note Jazz Club

We were there to see a famous American jazz band. The place was crowded, normal, warm atmosphere, excellent friendly service, very correct low prices, easy to park, only negative point, I ordered a mochito which was not. The cheese and fruit plates were good, especially the tasty fresh fruits.

One of the best live music clubs! Musicians from all over the world performan here. Great Blues and Jazz music.

Fantastic intimate jazz venue with an incredible atmosphere. My band, The Jive Aces from the UK played there for 6 nights over new years 2025/2026 and every night was sold out with a huge range of ages all enjoying real music.

The service was good, tables are tight so it's difficult for the staff. Good cocktail menu. The acoustics were good. Drink prices normally for this type of venue.

What a wonderful experience. The three of us (18-year-old Germans) had such a comfortable, kind and secure stay. We saw „La Boheme“ and met the sweetest people. The staff was incredibly chill and made surr everyone was feeling alright. Even as we stood in the middle of the aisle several times, the waiters were wholeheartedly symbolizing us to move aside. Perhaps it is more of a local bar?! The music was beautiful. The crowd was happy. A highlight in our backpacking travels!

It took more than an hour for a server to take our drink order - and another 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The club was fairly small and crowded. Not in a particularly welcoming area of the city. We also did not particularly enjoy the artist we saw. In retrospect, we would have done something different with that evening of our trip to Athens.

An authentic jazz club experience which is unfortunately ruined by the complete lack of proper air conditioning resulting in a very uncomfortable two hours of stay. The acoustic design is relatively poor also so unless you are seated in the middle of the hall, some of the music will be lost. All in all, a lot of room for improvement from management.

A real spot and finding within Athens. If you like enjoying the atmosphere of a Jazz club, you need to spend some time here.
