Decent beer garden with good authentic and hand made food. Beer was also good. Nice outdoor seating and staff. Reading what i just wrote, I upgraded to 5 stars. Central and good. Rare where i come from. Recommended also for small international groups.

Service had an attitude. Even though we were a large group of people and everyone ordered except for two of us, the service people gave us an attitude and said that if we don’t order anything we should leave which was very unprofessional and rude of them. Keep in mind the restaurant was pretty empty only a couple of people sitting around and many empty tables.

Even with a lot of heat, the beer is hot and they don't insist on serving it cold. The pizza was dry, the older waitress doesn't care about being attentive.

This is our go to restaurant in Halle. Great flammkuchen (we love the sweet Greek) and also kid-friendly, Really lovely staff and a charming biergarten in the summer too.

Lots of options for super delicious food. Also they have their own beer with the brew machine in the middle of the restaurant. Nice outside seating for warm weather.

I went here my last night of the conference with a bunch of people from the conference. The beer house is located through some alleys, total walk about 3-4 minutes from market place. There is outside seating and since it was nice weather that is what we did. The restrooms are located on the third floor inside and I could see that the beer house is quite large. There is a menu in English if you ask. The beer list is not super large, about 5-6 beers as I remember, all unfiltered which I thought would be a problem but it was not. I ordered a half liter of the pilsner which was quite nice. In fact, nice enough to have another! The food menu is large and from the different things people got it seems to be high quality. A lot of people ordered white asparagus with hollandaise sauce, another person got a pizza-type meal. I opted for a more traditional dish: bratwurst with mashed potatoes. I was hoping to find German potato salad but it was not on the menu. My dish was very tasty and delicious. The dark beer sauce that was over the brat and potatoes was one of the most delicious sauces I ever had. It was outstanding. The only thing I did not like was that the brat was sliced, not a link. The price was a bit high I thought at 13.90 euro but not outrageously overpriced. If you sit outside people will smoke. That's just the way it is. The place was quite popular and a lot of fun. Service was very good. I highly recommend this place for beers and dinner.
