Visited this place for the second time yesterday on my day trip to the Grampians. Great ambiance, Amazing customer service and Delicious food. We were able to secure the table near the windows and the view was really great. Enjoyed our food watching the Kangaroos having their meal in the garden. We will definitely visit this place again soon. Highly recommended for anyone who would like to have some traditional food with amazing natural views and great customer service, in the Grampians Region. Keep up the great work Team 😍👍

We visited the hotel last Saturday, Grand Final Day. Wasn't super busy in the dining area, so lucky enough to get a table without a booking. Eaten there before and usually the food is pretty good. Very disappointed with this visit. Went to the bar to order a coffee (first one for the day). Proceeded to tell me you weren't making coffees as it was too busy. You got to be joking right. Enough time to stuff around with cocktails however you can't make a coffee. Not to mention you charge 10% extra for weekends and you can't get extra staff then to serve? Although you didn't need it as while we sat there having a very ordinary lunch. The bar wasn't even busy. Then you have the nerve to charge $14 for a garlic pizza which looks like it should have been on the kids menu. With plenty of better options in Halls Gap, we won't be back

Whilst staying at the nearby NRMA Caravan Park, we cycled to this pub for lunch on 2 occasions. Both times we were very happy with the service, the food and the beautiful views. For a quintessential Ozzie experience, with paddocks full of kangaroos and emus. Highly recommend!

I have a general rule of thumb that any pub that charges more than $30 for a Parma should be approached with caution. We didn't order the Parma ($32!), but this rule still holds true: $16 "pork belly" (pictured) involved three slivers of porchetta offcuts with some sad, flaccid bits of potato. All other dishes were similarly disappointing: $22 for an undersized margherita pizza, Korean chicken ($16 entree) ok but overcooked and dry. And $28 for a cheeseburger and chips? C'mon guys.. taking the mick. Bar staff were also curt and argumentative, seemingly happy to serve flat postmix coke and get uppity when pointed out. And this was early in the night before the crowds had even built up. I get it might be tough finding qualified staff on the busiest weekend of the year, but if you're going to charge big city prices then your customers will expect a certain standard. We tried this place out five odd years ago and left underwhelmed then too. Won't ever be heading back with plenty of other options around to give a go.

We visited Halls Gap Hotel during the AFL Grand Final long weekend and it was a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was perfect for families with kids, thanks to the indoor and outdoor playgrounds that kept the little ones entertained. The food came out quickly, and both the quality of the food and the service were excellent. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Absolutely love Halls Gap Hotel!! The food is amazing. The scenery is spectacular. The set up is perfect for every occasion. Love it!! It was quite impressive. It’s a shame it was ruined by a rude and abrupt young Indian gentleman barman that we gave many chances and he managed to offend on 3 interactions on 1 single visit. Not good for ‘front of house’ exposure. Simple courtesy and manners I expect. Not in this case. Otherwise awesome pub !!

Perfect place for the family and kids, they have an indoor and outdoor playgroup. Warm fire inside, good range of food only downfall was the Second night we went there my son, mother and I got quite sick from the food. But I think it was a one off as the first night was really good.
