Halo Hel

Very nice and comfortable room with a lot of space. Good location in walking distance to the train station, to the beach and fokarium, but really unwilling staff.. The lady who accommodated us seemed like she hates her job.. She barely said hello (if so, we didn't hear it) and it looked like that it is a big problem for her to tell the guest at least the info where is the room.. We are not demanding guests, so we were surprised by her unfriendly behaviour and the lack of interest in their guests.. The only words we heard from her were: "Here is the form, fill it" and "Here are the keys."

The place was redecorated recently so the rooms are modern and clean. I gave it 3 stars as it is quite far from the beach and most importantly our room was facing the train station. I am a very light sleeper and was woken up every morning 5-6 am by extremely loud sounds. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Good standard, kitchen on every floor, well renovated building. Disadvantage is noise from the train station next to hotel. Better to take the room on the other side of the building

The wonderful coast of the Baltic Sea the hotel is located in the village on the Hel Peninsula. The price is very attractive. Rooms are very simply decorated, but are equipped with televisions and cabinets and a sink., Not all rooms have toilets. Hotel is located close to a large market store. A few minutes walk takes you to the seafront promenade with a huge number of bars and restaurants. The hotel staff is very nice, but at the lack of order and cleanliness. The toilets were very dirty and there was no toilet paper. It's a good hotel for not requiring customers which is next to the train station in Hel.

Stayed there one night. The room was very clean, although a bit stinky, but it wasn't a big deal. Nice TV in the room and free access to WiFi. Shared bathroom was very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great value for money!

I stayed in this hotel few times since 2017 each each during summer but unfortunately this time I found bathrooms not clean, we had room near by toilet and awe full smell was coming to room ! Price is ok for This location but service needs to be improved! Also loud sounds coming from next room didn’t allow to sleep well ! Not recommended!

You get what you pay for - you don't pay a lot and you don't get a lot. 2 very hard beds with sheets and pillow case under the bed - took 2 of us to lift the bed. A kettle that did not work and a fridge that did work. We did request en-suite but didn't get it. In 3 days there is only 1 occasion that there was toilet roll in the toilets - fortunately we had taken our own. The towels were 2 very small hand towels but again we had taken our own. The shower was ok but you had to hold the shower head as the holder was broken. There were no safety deposit facilities although these are advertised on their website so we had to carry our passports with us every where. No one in Hel spoke English, but we both speak "good enough to get by" Polish so there were no communication problems. Good points - very close to the railway station, nice clean town, very friendly people, superb beaches, very good prices.

We were pleased with the hotel. It was newly renovated and perfect for our days in Hel ;-). It offers everything you need and more. Definitely would be back. The rooms were clean and spacious with some lovely decorations.
