I had the most amazing experience at Halter Ranch. I was blown away by how clean, and how maintained the property was. The view when you walk into the tasting room/restaurant takes your breath away. The staff are extremely welcoming, the tasting is a bit more paced out but I think that is because you are also having lunch so it is good to have it spread out. Enjoy all the yummy kinds of foods and tasting. I had just one glass of Rose which was so delicious and refreshing! Our table had the charcuterie board, a tomato appetizer with whipped tofu spread, a summer salad with another whipped dressing, the burger with fries and the gnocchi. This was split between 5 people, plenty of food! I would highly recommend sitting outside, under the shade it is amazing! I can't wait to go back again!

Beautiful accommodations, amazing tour and fantastic customer service. There were 8 of us that stayed at the Hunting Lodge. The lodge is top notch beautiful. No expense was spared in the rennovation of the house. Each room is spacious with firm beds, beautiful bathrooms with own private decks off each room. The grounds are beautiful and so peaceful. You don't hear loud cars passing by. You feel totally secluded. We did the Defender tour with Timothy, which I HIGHLY recommend doing. In fact, we plan to do it again on our next trip. Hannah made all the arrangements with the accommodations and made everything so simple and easy. She even arranged a little welcome gift for each of our guests with a personalized note. It is totally worth the money you spend. You won't regret it.

Google
The vineyard was absolutely breathtaking, the staff were so attentive and the food and wine were top notch! Jasmine was so informative and believe me we had so many questions. We visit Paso every year for our anniversary and Halter Ranch will be on our list to re-visit. Be sure to make reservations online.

Google
Wow! We had a wonderful time at Halter Ranch. We did the wine and cave tour experience and really enjoyed the entire experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we got to taste some incredible wines during the tour. This is a great activity for couples or friends! You can also choose from a variety of different tours and experiences here so there’s something for everyone. Be sure to call and reserve ahead of time. If you are short on time or simply don’t want a bigger activity you can also come here for lunch or just your classing wine tasting experience. I highly recommend adding Halter Ranch to your itinerary while in Paso.

Google
Tucked away from it all, along gorgeous winding roads, you will find Halter Ranch. A sprawling property with endless amenities and impressively pristine grounds and facilities. Graciously greeted by a historical home one can rent for longer stay, but further exploration leads to a touring train depot, wedding venue, pilot cottages & an airplane runway! This place has it all. But that’s not all… The spotlight rests upon the meticulous wine production, caves, tasting room and luxurious garden lunch setting where you can sit back perched upon a hill and sip Bordeaux and Rhône-style wines while admiring the Ancestor Tree. Truely a perfect day!

Google
Stayed for a night at a winery that brings back childhood memories. If I had grown up in such a pastoral setting, my childhood might have been incredibly happy. Hannah was very kind 👍. The wine was excellent—pleasantly tipsy but without a hangover.

Google
This was my fourth stay at the halter Ranch property, my third stay in the Hunting Lodge. Very beautiful accommodation. Private with views across the vineyard and the hills. It has four master suites each with their own bathroom and tub. Very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is great and includes all the necessary utensils pots pans, toasters, coffee, maker, etc. access to very private and shaded pool area, hot tub, and nice fire pit outdoor outdoors along with the Santa Maria Grill. Hannah is a great host and will pick you up at your airplane if you fly in and is very responsive and reachable at all times. You can book 2, 3 or 4 rooms and they are flexible up to the cancellation date. A great couples retreat. We will be back!

Google
We had such a wonderful time at Halter Ranch. We flew in and stayed in one of the cottages. Communication with Hannah was so clear and complete, she made sure we had everything we needed. We had lunch and did some wine tasting, Natalie took such good care of us. Her knowledge was amazing, and she had so much to share. We can’t wait to plan our next visit.

Yelp
The best service I have had ever at winery! Kristie was amazing. Food was delicious and ready when we arrived, as we called in advance, just prior to the kitchen closing! I recommend the Ranch flight - delicious selection and generous pours. Beautiful and comfortable outdoor patio with wonderful view of nature and winery! Burrata has fresh seasonal peaches as Chef Paul finds local ingredients. Gnocchi is a must-try especially if you love mushroom!

Yelp
Made a reservation today about an hour before driving 25 minutes to this winery. We got there sat at our table for about 20 minutes, it took three different servers to finally bring us water and we decided to finally get up and leave since nobody came to acknowledge us. As I walked out with my husband, there appeared to be a manager, I told him we had a reservation and nobody came to service us. He said "oh we're short staffed today." So why in the heck would you take our reservation an hour before coming up there when you already know your short staffed in the middle of the day?!!!!! He did nothing to try to salvage us to stay, offer a first glass of wine on the house nothing, not even a apology. So basically it was a 50 minute round-trip drive for nothing. Very disappointing would never refer this winery to anybody.

Yelp
I had been looking forward to visiting Halter Ranch's flagship location since being introduced to their wines when they bought Hart Winery here in Temecula in 2022 as their third location. This beautiful 2,700 acre nature estate includes vineyards that are 100% certified organic, a covered bridge, various art pieces/sculptures around the estate, olive groves & a culinary garden, a 15" gauge railroad with scale trains to tour the property, a number of historic lodging options on the property, and a private air strip as HR is the only fly-in winery in the world! Our server Liam entertained us with stories behind the wines and their names, such as our Ranch Flight's CDP Côte de Paso aka "the rambunctious nephew" vs the Silver Flight Cuvée Alice aka "the elegant aunt" There is so much to explore on this property and various tours that I'd love to come back for - the wine & cave tour, Defender tour and of course, the wine down train experience that I know our grandkids would be all about!

Yelp
I'm a member at the location in Temecula so was excited to finally get up to this location to check it out. Beautiful property with delicious wine and great food. They offer live music, have various tours, and do have on site properties you can stay at. Tastings are $35 or $50. Definitely make a reservation before you come.
google avatar

Joellen C.

Yelp
One of my favorite wineries for their class, elegance and ambiance. Beautiful indoor and outdoor seating with live music, great breeze and large windows to feel the fresh outdoors. Their wine tastings are never a miss and they always have something special to surprise you with. The food flavor & variety is ok. As for variety the best would probably be the charcuterie and steak. The charcuterie has something for everyone and although not meat forward it is flavor forward with beautiful mixes of flavor. The steak is just straightforward cut of steak but it still is delicious. Love coming here!

Yelp
We brought a group from LA and stayed on the property overnight. We booked the Defender Tour, of all of the winery adventures I've ever done this was by far the best experience I've had, all of our guests had a great time. Timothy was extremely knowledgeable and set up a really fun trip. We followed up the tour with a lunch but really after all the snacks on the tour everyone was quite full

Yelp
We had such a lovely afternoon here. The estate is absolutely stunning, the wine was wonderful, and the food was fresh and delicious. Staff were great, albeit definitely on a more relaxed schedule, so if you're trying to make it to your next tasting on time, might want to keep an eye on your watch. We were in no rush, so we ended up spending about 3.5 hours here, which was absolutely divine. Cave tours are an awesome option, too!
google avatar

Lisa W.

Yelp
The views are great! The outside seating is nice and relaxing but a lot of flies. The wines were good. We especially like CDP and the Alice Cuvee. We did the tasting and waived if bought some bottles. Place was pretty busy but plenty of seatings.
google avatar

Aaron C.

Yelp
Wow! This place blew their neighbors away. Of all the wineries we went to, this is the one! I would prioritize it if I were you and you happen to he making the winery rounds. The services was incredible! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Sitting outside, drinking excellent wine while taking in the sunset was peak existence for my fiancée and I.

Yelp
A little late on this review, but I visited back in the spring with some friends. We stayed on the property and had such a great experience! The food tasting was excellent, and we also did the Defender Tour -- which I highly recommend. It was a great opportunity to learn about the wine-making process up close. I'm definitely planning to come back to check out their cave tours next time!

Yelp
Beautiful vineyard views and tasting room. Friendly confident staff Jasmine was a delightful server. We learned about the amazing winery and unique wines.

Yelp
The ONLY PRIVATE RUNWAY winery in the WORLD?? PILOT CABINS! An amazing overnight in the vineyard! Prior permission is required to land. The landing fee is generally the basic wine club membership or purchasing 6 bottles of wine. Our first adventure FLYING into the winery and staying overnight in the Pilot Cabin. MARGARET was a wonderful host. She communicated with us on CTAF, made sure the runway was clear and estimated the winds. Keep an eye on the windsock at midfield west. Typically, LAND 4 and depart 22. It's a tight runway with little lateral wiggle room, so I would practice first at AVX or SZP or a similar airport with a narrow runway. Consider the effects of density altitude! Margaret picked us up in a nicely air conditioned SUV at the parking area at the apch end of 22 and took us to one of the 2 PILOT CABINS. The cabins were nice and cozy with a great shower and very, very SOFT bed. There's a large fridge with ice tray, coffee maker and complimentary locally produced coffee. There's a full KITCHEN with range/oven/micro if you wish to bring in your own food. Keep the door closed to keep out the flies. The AIR CONDITIONING worked well and we're big fans of ceiling fans. They also provided a really nice BOSE BT min speaker, essential oil BUG SPRAY and a small fly zapper. Note! The WATER on the entire property is reverse osmosis filtered, so there's no need to purchase water bottles. We really enjoyed the nearby AMENITIES, pool, hot tub, firepit, tree swing, horseshoes, train ride, tasing/lunch. We also enjoyed a really good lunch and tasting in the dining room. Calamari, Kale salad, Halibut and steak. The VINEYARD TRAIN TOUR started off with a good pour of the Rose (great on a 100 degree day!) The train chugged around the entire property for about 45 min. They also offer a WINE CAVE TOUR which we are planning on experiencing next time. At the end of our stay, Margaret picked us up in the chilled SUV and took us back to the plane!

Yelp
My friend and I visited Halter Ranch for a wine tasting, and it did not disappoint. Kaitlyn was knowledgeable and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. The decor inside was only second to the breathtaking views of the vineyard, elegant and refined indoors to complement the beauty of nature. I will say that Halter Ranch exemplifies who I want to be as a wine connoisseur, so I don't think it would be the best spot for your first wine tasting (it was my second). While it wasn't pretentious, and Kaitlyn gave us an excellent intro to the wines and answered every single one of our questions, I was thankful for the intro I had to wines previously because that baseline allowed me to experience the Halter Ranch tasting fully. Attaching a photo of the red wine tasting I did at Halter (I bought 3) as well as some scenery. What I don't have is a photo of the charcuterie board, which was a masterpiece in vision as well as taste (please send marmalade. Thx). Overall, a well-deserved 5 stars, and I can't wait to go back and buy more wine.

Yelp
Amazing views from patio & large open windows in tasting room with beautiful views of vineyards. We've been here twice now & this is a must when in Paso! We had a fabulous wine tasting experience with Katelyn. Loved their wines & our friend joined their wine club. The lunch was very good too. The burgers & fries were yummy.

Brett H.

Yelp
It baffles me that any winery would not take walk-ins for a glass or bottle. We had time between tastings and our driver recommended we stop by Halter Ranch. On walking in, we inquired if we could just buy a glass and were refused but told "if you were members we could take you." I certainly understand if there was no room for a full tasting or what not, but in the time we were turned away we could have been served and paid for a glass. It's also odd to make a comment about membership when we haven't even tried the wine. I'll give 2 stars because Yelp does say "appointment only" but we had never heard or checked out Halter Ranch and were only recommended by our driver. We will certainly never be back. And we also frequent Temecula which means we will not visit Hart either. I'd encourage wineries to be more welcoming. There are ways to make membership exclusive and still welcome everyone. And they'd probably sell more wine too.

Yelp
I visited Halter Ranch for the first time right before new years on a rainy day. I mean what better thing to do on a rainy day than to go wine tasting?! Yes the weather was crummy but the estate was still gorgeous! It was truly breath taking and I only really saw the train main building and train tunnel. So cute! An added bonus, they offer free Tesla charging. One thing that sort of annoyed me is that if it's raining and you have a reservation, you may have to wait at the bar for a table to open up because they count the patio tables (which were soaking wet) in their reservation count. The staff did their best to get us to a table as quickly as possible but we purposely booked reservations during their lunch time to eat lunch so it was a full house. Anyway, we were seated in about 15 minutes but I saw this happen to many guests so just a heads up if you're visiting on a rainy day! My friend and I both ordered the $35 ranch flight. Pours were generous. Our favorites were the effervescent rose and their viognier. They do waive a tasting if you purchase 2 bottles. For lunch (served between 11:00 am-3:00 pm) I ordered the halter ranch burger with a beyond patty and a side of truffle fries. Both were DELICIOUS! I will be back for those fries!! It looks like they constantly change their menu which keeps things exciting. Halter Ranch is a must when wine tasting in Paso Robles!

Yelp
Beautiful vineyard! Came here for lunch and wine tasting both of which were great. The chili is bean forward and flavorful and you can't go wrong with the burger. It was nice to have a full menu available instead of just charcuterie. Our server was polite and informative. Only giving four stars because the service was quite slow and we had to wait a bit between pours.

Yelp
My wife and I flew our plane into Halter Ranch, what an amazing experience. Hanna and Paul are very nice and knowledgeable. We stayed in one of the pilot cottages. We brought our electric bikes and were able to visit two of the local wineries as well. The food was great, the service was excellent and our server Natalie was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines and the beautiful property. I highly recommend this place, especially for pilots looking for a challenging runway.

Yelp
My first visit to Halter Ranch with the Wine BFFs was a blast. If in the adelaida area and are looking for a great winery tour, Halter Ranch will take care of that. Immediately upon entry, we were greeted by the super friendly host who checked us in. We were a little early, so grabbed one of their Embroidered Vests in their merch section. All the clothing was high quality materials and stitching. Good stuff. Scott was our tour guide and educator and he was fantastic. He had his presentation down and was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of production and history of Halter Ranch. He was very friendly and a top notch guide. Tour Stops Vineyards - Learned the unique elevate grape growing process at Halter Ranch Machinery - Saw the machines that process the grapes and the massive storage units Lounge - Grabbed a seat in the classy lounge to sample more wines and hang out with the feral friendly cats around. We also learned about the art pieces throughout the Ranch Cave - We sampled some wine straight from the barrel. My favorite part of course. Took a seat at a designated tasting area in the caves and here is where I discovered my favorite Halter Ranch Wine: the 2019 Ancestor. I also purchased a 2020 CDP as well. This was a great tour and the facilities were great. Next time we're planning to check out the Land Rover tour and sample more pesticide free vino. Cheers!

Yelp
Wonderful Experience. The service was superb. Our guide person was knowledgeable, patient, and fun. We enjoyed learning about the history of the ranch and how it came to be a vineyard. The equipment and processes are impressive. The surroundings are beautiful as well as the drive to the ranch. Highly recommended.

Yelp
It's hard to believe this was our first visit to Halter Ranch Estate in Paso Robles. We knew we liked their wines from our tastings at the Temecula location. This is an amazingly beautiful, very large 2,700 acre property. The expansive views are amazing. The wine tasting room/restaurant has a fresh and new feel, and is tastefully decorated. The large wall size windows give a view of the vineyards where hawks and turkey vultures fly over looking for their meals. There is also outdoor patio seating. There are many large contemporary art pieces scattered around the property. They have a small airfield and a small train that is offered to wine club members for a tour of the property. We started with a tasting, served by Rachel (I think). She was very knowledgeable about the wines and the property, and she was so sweet! Our lunch was a delicious, perfectly cooked Alaskan halibut over risotto and asparagus, and an order of fries, paired with a bottle of Viognier. It was a delicious meal! Halter Ranch Estates is impressive!
google avatar

Mark D.

Yelp
Paso has a few wineries.....like about 260 at this writing. We've tasted Halter Ranch wines at their new Temecula location and decided to let's stop at the actual winery in Paso. Very nice and well maintained structures and landscape. We were doing lunch as well. The halibut sounded good on a bed of rosoto and asparagus. We added a side of fries....and omg the size of the fries could've been the entre and they were good! The halibut was good, but the green rosoto was a little much. Had to close my eyes as it was too much green...ha (see pic). The wines are really good here. Chardonnay is delicious. The reds hit on all the notes and the cabernet sauvignon was my favorite. Very large property with 2700 acres planted. Enjoy Paso!

Yelp
Total poop show. Service = ZERO. Our server was totally disinterested in our birthday reservation, she questioned our industry bona fides (secret, I have owned multiple fine dining establishments) and could physically be seen walking away shaking her head every time she departed our table. To be transparent we are a VERY tough crowd, we are boisterous, outspoken, vocal and FUN! Unfortunately this was just more than the venue could handle and the manager invited us to please leave. 1 extra star for the manager that truly handled the situation like a professional.
google avatar

Bre R.

Yelp
Old favorite revisited. They have some excellent wines both white & red. We came on a week day without a reservation & only mild shaming. "Walk in..." They were not that busy & could have been a bit happier to see us !! Appreciated a choice between 2 tasting flights and each of us tried one. We used to love their Rose and it's still good. But their reds have really blossomed over the last 4 years. Love the CDP and Ancestor. Bought 4 bottles. Their food is good. Service was a little shaky in terms of friendliness...some odd 40s Steamboat Willie music in the beginning but they changed it. Going to try their new Temecula store near home.

Laura F.

Yelp
Jasmine, our wine server, was knowledgeable, hospitable, enthusiastic, and open to all questions. Halter Ranch was beautiful with their wine tasting building and views of the grapes on the hillside. Highly recommend!! And good wune

Chelsea H.

Yelp
Awful experience.. I booked a reservation for my birthday weekend with a total of 7 guests and rented a party bus to reach this location. When we arrived we were seated in the farthest part of the patio and after 20 minutes of sitting there the host brought water and after sitting there for a total of 30 minutes we asked the front desk for service. We had every intention of doing wine tastings and having lunch and after 45 minutes of sitting there with no service we decided to leave. A table that came after us even got service before us. During all of this the "water was down" in the restaurant and the staff had to shuttle 2 of our guests down to the next restroom. As we were leaving we informed the staff that we never received service and were met with excuses as to why a table after us received service before us with no true apology. Later in the day we received a canceled reservation email and this morning received a thank you for visiting email. Such a bizarre experience. We felt discriminated against and unfortunately will not be back.
google avatar

Britt H.

Yelp
This establishment is exquisite! Kristie, the manager there provides amazing service and was very attentive to what I needed. She was quick to refill my water glass and asked if everything was tasting amazing. I ordered the burger and it was thick, flavorful, and delicious. The view is delightful and the wine was smooth and delicious. I will definitely come back and visit and recommend! Thank you halter for being amazing. I'll go visit your Temecula location as well!
google avatar

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Terrible service. I was with Chelsea for her birthday from the previous review. The winery never acknowledged us for service and wasted our time without an apology.
google avatar

Richard W.

Yelp
Outstanding experience here, restaurant was good too. Wines were great, joined the club. Really a great stop on our wine travels thru Paso.
google avatar

Robert V.

Yelp
Really bad customer service from older women and the wine tasting check in station. Can in today on Saturday 11/2 very rude and slow. We left and would never join the membership club again

Himani R.

Yelp
The view was beautiful over looking the vineyard. The food was good and the plating beautiful. The wine was a little too dry for me.

Gus B.

Yelp
Great wine and food pairing. Service was great and the restaurant tasting didn't seem rushed, even for a a late fall Sunday. The winery looks amazing and has an upscale vibe, definitely better location than their Temecula site.

Ilona D.

Yelp
This is an amazing place that will forever stay in my heart. The atmosphere, the experience, and especially the incredible staff made it truly unforgettable.
google avatar

Timo R.

Yelp
We went to Halter Ranch because it was recommended by one of our friends. We did their Ranch flight for tasting and our sommelier was Brandon. I liked their 2017 Anchestor wine the best. We also had a charcuterie board and a Halter Ranch burger. The charcuterie board was good, an excellent balance between meats, cheese and fruit. The Halter Ranch burger was actually one of the best burgers I've had in awhile. It was juicy, cooked perfectly medium rare and melted in your mouth. Brandon was great and the bussers were also on top of filling our waters etc. We will definitely visit Halter Ranch again when we are in Paso Robles.
google avatar

Catherine P.

Yelp
Halter Ranch was AMAZING! I can see where they get such interesting flavors. I can't remember what it was called... I think it was the COPD wine but it was my favorite by far! We learned so much about the wines I can't believe that the leaves turn red when the grapes are ripe! I had no idea! When the train came around i felt like an actual wine connoisseur!
google avatar

Julie C.

Yelp
Just DO it Their wines are delicious but it's the sweeping views of the vineyards, seen through large, picturesque windows that will really seal the deal. Cross that cute little covered bridge to get there (snap a fun pic while you are at it), and prepare to feel like you have been transported to Napa or Sonoma.
google avatar

Tina S.

Yelp
Had an awesome experience here on 4/6 with our group. Liam(Billy Joel) was our host & explained every wine thoroughly. Fantastic food served there as well.... Truffle fries!!!! The property is huge & very impressive

Schrena T.

Yelp
I have never been told "No" more in my life. No you can't walk around No you can't ride the train No you can't have a flight ( after purchasing the required 2 bottles) No we don't have that open No there's no tours available No we don't have live music It's was such a beautiful winery but the service was lacking big time. As someone who works in the wine industry the customer service was not there.
google avatar

Abby A.

Yelp
Lovely winery, beautiful scenery and picture taking. We stop in for some small bites and tasting during our day. The charcuterie board was absolutely perfect. All was going well with our time until the table next to us ordered the fish (Halibut) PLEASE do yourself a favor and take this off your menu. The smell overwhelmed our table to the point we could not even taste the wines properly! The service was ok. We finally had to leave the smell was so horrible. Halibut should never smell that fishy ever!
google avatar

Brianne S.

Yelp
We spent the day wine tasting in Paso today and Halter Ranch was the unanimous favorite. The service was light years better than what we received anywhere else. Liam was phenomenal at helping some of us newbies understand the tasting and was clearly passionate about what he does. The grounds are beautiful and the cab and rose were our favorites of the day. Can't wait to come back.

Alesha D.

Yelp
Stopped in here midday for some lunch and wine and it was amazing! We had a GSM bottle of wine and some charcuterie, fries, & olives. It was the perfect midday pick me up. The staff was also friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping by.
google avatar

Glen M.

Yelp
We were fortunate to be treated to a wine tasting lunch at Halter. It's a beautiful facility and extremely knowledgeable staff. They have a limited lunch menu but each of us were able to find something to enjoy with our wine. I think they would be well served to expand the menu and possibly added a few appetizers that pair well with wine (calamari anyone?). I've been to tastings at many wineries and I must say, being seated for lunch during a wine tasting is definitely the way to go. First, if you are a party of four or more, it's easier to have a conversation with the entire group. Second, who doesn't like to sit, relax and have a glass of wine? My wife and I often taste each other's wine selection. This works out great here as they have different tasting selections. We ordered different ones and were able to sample double the amount of wines. Highly recommended. The views are great, there's a wondering wine cat outside and the food and wine were very enjoyable. Fun place if you are in the area. Enjoy!!!

Allyson P.

Yelp
Had a reservation today at Halter Ranch for lunch and it was fabulous. Liam, our server was well informed funny and very accommodating. The burger and fries are some of the best we've had in Paso a sparkling rose. Delicious on the wine flight offer wonderful variety. Definitely will be back.
google avatar

Shahen S.

Yelp
The wine is great! They have a great selection to choose from and multiple tasting options. We did make an appointment, although I'm not sure how much it's required, and were seated promptly. The tasting did seem a bit rushed at times, but the wine and food made up for it. It is a bit on the pricier end for tastings, but the ambiance is great.

North W.

Yelp
We have been members here for many years. In 2020 we noticed a huge changed in the customer service after they fired everyone but the wine marker. After our visit today it toke to drop the membership. They don't offer anything special anymore to wine club members, was waiting for a glass today and kept being told "someone will be right with you" for 23 minutes and then the server was very inattentive not to just use but to the entire counter. We were gonna buy our typical 5 cases of silver label wood but not this time as the service has gonna away.
google avatar

Carmen D.

Yelp
Worst tasting experience I have had in Paso Robles. I have worked in restaurants and bars myself and I get when someone calls off it can be chaotic but today I was ready to join the wine club and now after lunch and tasting I won't be returning. I come up every spring and fall to pick up my wine clubs in Paso. I typically stop at Halter Ranch after my club pick up at Tablas Creek. I guess because I was a single African American woman tasting versus a table of 4 or more of white guests. It was clear my business was not a priority. Under cooked burger. Waiting for wine. No engagement at all with the person pouring the wine he just literally pouring and rushing off to his tables of 4. Honestly if the service was going to be this awful I would have gone elsewhere for lunch and tasting. Single tasters of color go elsewhere
google avatar

Ashley F.

Yelp
First time in Paso and a friend recommended Halter Ranch. We got a little lost so we were running a little late for our tasting which I know isn't ideal as I'm sure everyone has a strict schedule going. We were warmly greeted by Kristie as I apologized for being late and told her we could rush through she assured me not to worry there was no need to rush through the tasting. She was very knowledgeable and made our experience lovely. She was amazing at guiding us through the wines and we can't wait to enjoy our bottles we brought home with us. Thank you so much to Kristie for making our anniversary so special! The views were absolutely stunning overlooking the vineyards. Definitely plan to come back anytime we come back to paso!

Steven D.

Yelp
Amazing experience. My girlfriend and I went up to paso for a little getaway. This was our first stop and our FAVORITE stop of the whole trip. Cassie was our tour guide for the cave tour. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable, sweet and made our experience very special. We even went back the following day for lunch. 12/10 would recommend this beautiful winery and their cave tour. Thank you Cassie for an incredible experience!

Yelp
Worst service I have experienced ever. They aren't deserving of my money and probably not yours. I went with my cousin, we were ignored by the wait staff for over 30 minutes. They served others who came in after us. I think because we are older women, they didn't care about their service to us. Others have had similar experiences. The managers need to take note about what they are trying to do, if young elite is all you care about, it's up to you. But that is crappy in general. I will never step foot on stupid low class winery, their wine tastes awful anyway. Be real and treat all people with respect. If I could give no stars I would.
