Israel Has Reopened to Foreign Travelers—Here Are the Best New Things to Do When You Get There

"INHFA has restored an ancient synagogue built between 286 and 337 CE, with a highlight being its three-paneled mosaic floor depicting the sun god Helios driving his chariot across the sky."

I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s not terrible, but it does feel run-down. In some countries, the sanitary conditions would likely lead to it being shut down. That said, it’s clearly a popular spot among locals, and many people seem to enjoy it. Admission and food prices are fair, and while the menu is very simple, the food itself is decent.

There are 3 attractions in this place. Firstly, the beautiful view of the Kineret Lake. Secondly, the warm water springs, all natural. You may dip in the little pools made for visitors. Thirdly, visit the ancient synagogue with its amazing mosaic. Almost 2000 years old. Wonderful place to visit. A must see when visiting Israel. The lake is mentioned numerous times in the bible.

A small cozy place to warm the bones. Pay the cost of a simple coffee and can sit from opening to closing in a small park with picnic tables and 3 pools with temperatures of 30, 35 and 40 degrees Celsius. My wife and I came here for just an hour to warm up and see another attraction during our vacation, but even so, we liked it. Here you can sit and relax without picnics and other activities... just ... relax.

Not stunning but still worth your time. I had the chance to visit this site at the same time as a group so I could see the movie displayed inside. It was really interesting and made the place much more worth the time. I'd recommend you ask the attendant at the entrance to show the movie even if you're alone as it happened in other National parks, even when I was there completely alone. It seems this attendant was busy with something else than giving service to the visitors.

A good place to relax for the whole family. There are three thermal pools with different temperatures - 30, 35 and 40 degrees. You sit in the pool and admire the view of Kinneret. After the water procedures, you can take a shower, there are changing rooms. There are picnic tables. You can also take a blanket from home and lay it on the grass. I liked the pebble path for foot massage. Also, see what baths used to be in the small museum. Very interesting location! Try not to forget to take anything with you in advance (swimsuits, towels, slippers), because you can't buy these on the territory of the park.

Very beautiful mosaic floor. But it is only one room. Only ₪14.00 entry fee. Site currently under construction there are much noise. Will be wonderful once completed I think. Very close to the sea of Galilee where you may dip your toes in the water.

Open pools of natural hot springs. Only some of them are shaded. No place to change cloths (except a dingy toilet). but the place is very pastoral and beautiful with a great view of the Kineret Lake. I also recommend entering the restored Beit Kneset, known for its beautiful mosaic work.

Small good park. Don’t skip film in synagogue - it’s very interesting. And healthy road for feet - you should definitely try it.
