Very good quality food and an impressive drinks list. We had excellent service from our waiter - he made a great difference to our experience.
We had the fish of the day (Barramundi) and The Seafood Chowder - both very refined and tasty. They do love the Cajun spice applied to most things - not a problem.
Do book ahead and enjoy.

We ate at the pub and the bistro recently and the food was very good. Got our meals fast and was not a bad price for the location.
Parmi at the pub was huge, ribs at the bistro were good.
Sad to see the pub so empty on a weekend but it is the middle of winter, I imagine it to be bustling in summer.
We booked a month in advance for the bistro over the phone to make sure we got a table.

Went there for breakfast. Very good service and friendly, helpful staff. The food was great, and also satisfied with the portions. Since we went there during the off-season, there weren't many people around, nevertheless the atmosphere looked very cozy.

From my perspective, if a restaurant charges $60 per person, the food should at least be reheated to a reasonable temperature. I understand it might be pre-prepared and reheated during the off-peak season, but serving only lukewarm food in freezing weather is really not acceptable.

They booked us in at 530 and didn’t open till 540 which wasn’t a good start. $45 Beef cheeks had no flavour and was the size of a kids meal, $50 cape grim scotch fillet was a 200 gram piece of Cole’s budget rump. Kids chips taste like no frills chips heated up in a oven, the place obviously has very little competition, don’t go there find somewhere else

Went with my partner a few nights in a row for dinner, we really enjoyed the chicken parmigiana and the fries were consistently crispy. The chocolate brownie and churro's were fantastic, honestly the best churro's I've ever had. They do fried food really well and must use clean oil since nothing tasted greasy.

A good pub meal. Off season and the only place that is open that serves good food. No complaints except the truffle chips is just chips with mayo but those Tasmania fries are huge! Sweets and parmigiana as you would expect small menu but Hardy on a 3° day 🍟 nice stocked fire and some good wines 🍷🔥

For a cosy pub restaurant the food, service and location with waterviews was incredible! Delicious steak, attentive and friendly staff and well priced for such a unique location on the West Coast of TAS.
