Carbonic Coffee (soft opening)

The coffee is really good. The servers are sweet and lovely! Would highly recommend to soak in some sunshine and enjoy your cup of coffee!

Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics! I typically don't frequent breakfast sandwiches. This one changed my mind. The pillowy soft brioche bun is lightly toasted with butter for a subtle crisp. The juicy pork sausage is seasoned simply to bring out its natural umami, complemented with the creamy pan fried egg with a jammy yolk and refreshingly tangy bread and butter pickles.

good place!! i got a latte and one of their muffins, both great. the barista was friendly and efficient. the place is clean and nicely decorated. the owners made good use of space as there's a decent amount of seats. prices are reasonable. will be back!

This is my third time at Hamers Coffee and I’ll be back for more! I had the vanilla flat white with oat milk & their breakfast sandwich this time, and it was super delicious. I forgot to ask which beans they were using on espresso today, but regardless it was delicious & paired well with their flavoured drinks. My friend had a pour over that he enjoyed as well. Their space is clean, designed well, and they have a nice selection of Canadian and international coffee roasters available. They also have unique offerings of tea! I wished I lived closer so I could come everyday!

Update 2024 - 3 Stars New kitchen system. Rotational chefs based on my conversation with the owner. Ordered two dishes that come highly recommended as our go to Breakfast Sandwich was cut. Average fusion flavours but will not be back. Pre 2024 - 5 Stars At first glance, the exterior of the space may not catch your eye, but don't be fooled - the interior is full of artistic flair and sleek design choices. The mid-century mustard wall and avant-garde elements make for a truly unique and memorable atmosphere. Seating space is limited as there are three sitting zones only. A special shout-out to the breakfast sandwich, which was absolutely fantastic. As for the coffee, while it was solid, I personally found that the beans had a sour fruity body which isn't my preferred taste. However, I'm sure that many coffee lovers will find the flavor profile to their liking.

It's now Carbonic. I had an espresso there this morning. A bit confusing as there is as of now (it's Tuesday, 16 September 2025 as I type this) literally zero signage, but they're open and brewing. My espresso was excellent! Great temperature and body, perfect volume, nice balanced flavour.

Great local cafe. Barista's are friendly and super knowledgeable. They've got oat milk as a non-dairy option, but no lactose-free milk. Lots of seating options both indoors and outdoors. Don't miss out on the breakfast sandwiches! The ETC with Chorizo is a personal favourite.

Nice minimalist cafe. Good place to work, read, or just chill. Good music too. The iced milk tea was not too sweet and perfect for a muggy day. The owner actually looks like he enjoys what he’s doing - that’s always a good sign!

Enjoyed the collaboration between See You Soon and Hamers Coffee over the weekend. Despite the long line, the cozy interior provided a welcoming atmosphere. Opted for takeout due to limited seating. Service was excellent, with cheerful staff enhancing the morning rush experience. Tried the Breakfast Banh Mi, Tortang Talong Croissant, and lattes. Both sandwiches were flavourful, with the Tortang Talong Croissant standing out thanks to the scallion mayo. Lattes were a perfect complement. Overall, a delightful collaboration worth experiencing. If you missed it, don't worry--Hamers Coffee remains a recommended hangout spot in the neighborhood!

More on the artsy side of things, this space is simple and yet visually interesting. Minimalistic. Art books in the window sill, and a few spots to sit and have a conversation. Coffee was great. Had a tahini chocolate cookie. It was rich and delicious.

I visited this place while walking around in the area. The decor is sleek, stylish and simple. There is a small patio outside as well. I tried Nitro Cold Brew and really loved it. It was fruity and didn't need to add sugar as such. I would like to try some other items next time.
