Writing this on behalf of my wife! She booked a massage at Hammam de la Rose for herself and her mum. They had a superb visit, very good service and were very happy with the massage. The Hammam de la Rose is in a nicer area of the town, and a superb location generally. Five stars out of five! They had a massage with Karima and Khadija, and the Hamman treatment with Khawla and Nainam. Don’t hesitate to book!

Hammam De La Rose – Marrakech Set in the heart of the old city walls, this was an excellent introduction to a traditional Moroccan hammam. We were a group of four women over 50 and felt completely comfortable throughout the experience. Upon arrival, we were provided with robes, slippers, lockers, and the usual little paper pants, though we opted to wear our own bikinis for privacy. We were given a private hammam, and the ladies were incredibly respectful and attentive, regularly checking that we were comfortable. The treatment began with a shower, followed by time in the hot room. Next came a thorough scrub using beautifully scented products, a relaxing foot massage, a rinse, and then an application of soothing mud. After another session in the warm room, our hair was washed with shampoo and conditioner, followed by a final shower and nourishing argan oil. It was a wonderfully relaxing and authentic experience — we all left feeling refreshed and glowing. Thoroughly recommended!

Visited the Hammam De La Rose on the recommendation of our Riad. I noticed that this place has very mixed reviews so thought I'd give my 2 pennies worth & honest opinion on it. We opted for the Ceremony of the Rose package. The decor itself is really lovely and creates a soothing ambience. We were immediately shown to the changing area were we were given robes to change into and not long after were directed by the staff to the Hammam. It's here where we felt the experienced dropped a little. As others have said communication is a huge barrier here but we also felt the Hammam itself should have been warmer? I've done a few different variations of hammam before and those ones including steam which wasn't present here? Also the water in the shower was tepid as well so washing off the mask and hair products wasn't the most pleasant. When we asked if the water could be made hotter the ladies didn't understand. After the Hammam we were then taken up to the lounge to wait for our massages. We did have to request towels for our hair which was still dripping from the Hammam, it would just be comman sense for the spa to provide this for women anyway. We were given tea whilst waiting but before we could even finish it we were told to head to the room which felt a little rushed. Once there however the massage itself was incredible, perfect pressure and very relaxing. Afterwards we went back to the relaxation lounge for more tea however this cup was lukewarm. Nobody came to collect us so after a few minutes we made our own way down to get changed and leave. So overall not a bad experience but there are still a lot of areas that could be improved.

Mediocre service and treatment. Ladies are constantly talking in the hallway next to the hammam and in the relaxing room one floor up. You can’t really doze off. Booked together with my mother who they wanted to put undressed with me which was awkward for her. Pointed to the shower afterwards but not given a towel so had to fetch one at reception dripping wet. Felt rushed and impersonal. Many hammams that are far nicer

Unfortunately, my experience at Hammam de la Rose was very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. From the beginning, I felt like just another number in a rushed schedule. There was no real care or personal attention — I was mostly left to figure things out on my own. The actual time spent in the hammam was barely three minutes, which felt incredibly rushed and impersonal. The massage that followed was very average and lacked intention or presence. It felt like a “next, please” kind of place rather than a relaxing or special experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend it, especially considering how much they charge. There are better, more authentic options in Marrakech.

The Hammam De La Rose was recommended by friends who’ve been there before as one of the best private baths in town. The booking experience was very easy just calling the day before. We went for the Tour of Morocco package, including bath, scrub, mud massage, and 1hr-relaxing massage afterwards. The venue was easy to find in a very nice Suq that is worth exploring for higher-end shopping than in other areas of the Medina. The Hammam venue is quite nice and upscale. We didn’t like the service though also comparing to previous experiences in Turkey and Hungary. The Hammam staff were loud and too chatty outside the bath room as many other reviews point out. This made relaxation harder. I wasn’t too surprised about how they communicated during the bath process as I experienced elsewhere that Hammam personnel are often not too skilled in foreign languages. I wouldn’t called them rude but direct, quite different if you’re used to a fancy SPA in the U.S. or Europe. But it reckon it part of the Hammam experience. However, we didn’t like the noise also outside the spa massage area with other noisy tourists and noisy personnel (-1 star). The venue management should be more careful about this and dedicate some rooms for breaks to their own staff so they don’t bother the visitors. My masseuse was good, she changed the relaxing massage into a tonic one once I asked her in French. We also use the rooftop terrace at the end, which is a perk. The whole experience and expectations could improve if the front desk staff explained the process to new customers. Overall, it felt too expensive for service they provide (-1 star).
