Hammamhane Hotel

Dreamy place! It’s located in Cukurcuma which is full of antique shops, thrift stores, bookstores, and cafes. I can’t think of a better location to immerse yourself in all the beauties of Istanbul. The rooms are so lovely, cozy, and stylish. The staff are so nice and helpful too. I really didn’t want to leave this place at all. It’s a gem with beautiful design, impeccable service, coziness and charm. Highly recommended!

I had such a lovely experience staying at Hammamhane in Istanbul. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way — from the warm customer service to the thoughtful details throughout the property. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection each morning. Our studio room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. I especially appreciated the complimentary water bottle in the room and the convenient water cooler in the hallway — such a great eco-friendly touch! I also loved the signs encouraging guests to save water — it shows how much the hotel cares about sustainability. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept so well. The location is perfect — just a 10-minute walk to Taksim Square and about 30 minutes to the Egyptian Bazaar, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, having a hammam right next door was a wonderful bonus! Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and felt very well taken care of. I’ll definitely be booking Hammamhane again on my next visit to Istanbul!

We stayed at Hammamhane for 5 days, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and full of character. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the internet connection was excellent throughout our stay.||The service was beyond expectations — the staff were always ready with a smile and even offered us delicious coffee whenever we wanted. We also tried the hammam next door, which was an incredible and relaxing experience that I highly recommend to anyone staying here.||But what really makes this hotel stand out is the amazing staff. I’ve traveled all over Europe, but I’ve never seen such genuinely kind, attentive, and helpful people. Every single member of the team was fantastic, especially Denise and Haydar, who made our stay extra special.||If you’re visiting Istanbul, Hammamhane is absolutely the place to stay. You’ll feel right at home — and probably won’t want to leave!

Excellent place in Istanbul. I booked the 1 bedroom terrace apartment and I immediately received a message asking if there was anything additional I would need for my upcoming stay. I knew then the service would be amazing! When I arrived my room was ready and with such a beautiful view. The place is spotless clean. The location is fantastic, a short walk away from the port and also from Istiklal street. The included breakfast is just delicious, and prepared right there on site. The only fault I could find is that they don't open their kitchen for lunch and dinner. Overall you can't go wrong with booking this hotel in Istanbul.

We had a wonderful stay at Hammamhane. The loft apartment was spacious, very well equipped, and perfect for a five day stay. The staff was attentive and friendly. Breakfast was great. We particularly loved the location. The hotel is in a charming, slightly quirky neighborhood. Walking distance to small shops, groceries, and local restaurants. Many art, galleries and curiosity shops around. We highly recommend visiting the Museum of Innocence which is steps away from the hotel.

Great location to see the sites of such a historic al and charming city. It is in the Taksim area. First of all this was the best hotel that I've ever stayed in. The charm, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the dedication to sustainability, the caring staff, the included breakfast, the helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff, and the overall experience were the best that I have ever received anywhere. If I could have given 10 Stars I would have given it. The owner of the hotel Dilek was super amazing. Everyone from my first day with Deniz the Desk Attendant who was super wonderful from the first day until the day I checked out. The Managers Bulent & Demet, Ayse in the restaurant, Efe, Olcan, Burat at the front desk, everyone treated me like I was a member of the family and not just a customer. If you want a place where you feel welcome on you travels, this is the place.

You simply can’t do better than the luxury, boutique Hammamhane Hotel in Istanbul. I’m a frequent guest of Hammamhane Hotel because it offers the absolute BEST VALUE for a hotel in Istanbul. I understand that if more travelers like you trust my review (as you should), the hotel will probably become even more popular and one day it might be too booked for me to stay. But, I also believe in fairness. In a world today where quality is getting worse in many ways, it’s only fair to report when quality continually IMPROVES as with Hammamhane. This review is just because I think that QUALITY deserves recognition…||Hammamhane Hotel not just a “place to sleep”. Yes, it’s a beautiful building that combines “historical charm” with modern facilities. (The rooms are modern and BIG with ALWAYS immaculately CLEAN, new bathrooms; a clothes washer-dryer IN THE ROOM(!); a kitchen with a dishwasher IN THE ROOM(!); more comfortable beds than in my own home in the USA; and special sound-reducing windows to eliminate almost ALL sounds from outside!) ||But a hotel is MORE than just a LUXURY building. I’m a frequent traveler to Istanbul and a frequent guest of Hammamhane mostly because manager Bulent’s staff are simply the most professional EXPERIENCED and COMPETENT people who really CARE about helping guests. The cleaning staff are respectful and SMILE. Everyone works together as a friendly team to help each other ensure that guests have the best possible experience in Turkiye. Olcan, Efe, Deniz and Berat work together GREAT! Especially Deniz’s deep knowledge about Istanbul and his suggestions are very valuable and helpful. It’s the teamwork of the staff that really makes Hammamhane shine compared to most other hotels I’ve stayed at.||The location is VERY SAFE and it’s a 4-minute walk to the main shopping Istiklal Street. We stayed at Hamamhane for a friends reunion trip! My partner and I stayed in the beautiful two-story one-bedroom suite just across the street from the main hotel. It was incredibly comfortable, modern, and thoughtfully decorated, complete with a mini kitchenette.Even though we were in a separate building, we had full access to all the hotel's amenities, which made us feel completely connected to the experience.||The staff were simply incredible, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A huge shoutout to Bülent, Denis, Berat, and the young gentleman who received us the first night, whose name I can't remember, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every interaction felt authentic and kind.|Breakfast served in a gorgeous indoor/outdoor space, cozy and stylish, with four lovely ladies in the open kitchen preparing fresh, delicious food. |The location is perfect, a poetic little street that’s peaceful and quiet, yet only a 2-minute walk to bustling neighborhoods full of cafés, restaurants, and breathtaking city views. The tram is just a 10-minute walk away, and we walked almost everywhere. The area is young, artsy, intellectual, and feels very safe.|While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there’s some room for improvement: breakfast service could be a bit quicker, and the housekeeping team could benefit from more training and management to align with the otherwise 4-star feel of the hotel.|Still, these are small notes compared to the overall experience, which was nothing short of wonderful. We’ve already recommended Hamamhane to four friends who got tickets for Istanbul, and we’ll continue to do so!||Highly recommended. We can’t wait to return.

Wonderful, small hotel in a cute neighborhood. Friendly staff, unique and comfy rooms, and a killer breakfast. Hipster and stylish, great music on their playlists in the common areas and relaxing patios. Did I mention the staff is wonderful? Seriously. No place I will stay on Istanbul.

This hotel is a gem! Would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful breakfast, kind staff, great location! The manager is fabulous. He even got me a cake for my birthday. Bilal was great, as was Ufuk, the kitchen and cleaning staff were also lovely. The rooms have washers! Can't say enough good things about this.
