The Hammamhane is a little away from the main tourist areas of Istanbul but that adds to its charm. The area is one of galleries and antique shops and generally the street was quiet. There were good restaurants nearby and only a few minutes walk to the tram. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed, including a kitchen. Breakfast was served in an attractive dining area opening on to the street. The food was excellent with plenty of choices. The staff were welcoming and helpful with ideas to plan our days, and a blackboard provided local restaurant suggestions. We thought this a great place to stay.

This hotel is such a find in Istanbul. It sits in a little side street amongst emporium shops. Most of the sights are within maximum 30 minutes walk. The room I had was huge and included a small kitchen. The breakfast was extensive and delicious with most items homemade, ie biscuits, cakes. There was always a happy atmosphere amongst the staff and lots of laughter, which indicates that they enjoy working together and have a good bond. I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting this fascinating city.

A very well run establishment, in fact one of the best we've stayed in in recent years. We stayed for a week in a suite with a terrace. The suite comprised a kitchen -sitting room, a bedroom, a shower room, and a large terrace equipperd with a table and chairs and sun loungers. Overall the suite itself was very well equipped with everything you could think of, and reception just a call away for anything else you might need.||Breakfast was plentiful and all good, fresh quality. A full Turkish breakfast selection, plus a range of other breakfast items including cereals, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses and meats, cakes, borek, breads and pastries etc All served in a very pleasant breakfast room over-looking the covered terrace and the street. ||It was nice to sit on the hotel's ground floor verandah in the evening and watch the world go by - with a nice glass of Turkish wine or beer. The staff are all very responsive and welcoming. The hotel is located in a very convenient location for the best of Beyoglu and very close to the tram stop at Tophane. A great selection of bars and restaurants nearby, and also a good range of local and independent shops. Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again should we visit Istanbul.

Excellent! We were very pleased with the service and kindness of the hotel staff. Everyone was thoughtful. All we needed was provided in the room and more. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was great and varied. The hotel is close to the city center and to interesting points. Also, the hotel offered us so many interesting services that helped us so much during the stay (pick up from/to airport, transportation card,..etc). We were very happy to stay at the Hammamhane hotel and we strongly recommend it!

I felt truly welcomed at the Hammamhane Hotel. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful, but Efe went above and beyond with terrific, non-touristy recommendations that helped me see the neighborhoods in Istanbul.||The apartments / rooms are very well designed with separate sleeping and working / lounging areas that make it easy to share the space with a friend or do conference calls. Each apartment in the adjacent building has atleast one private outdoor space to enjoy the city from. AC and wifi work well. ||The side-street location is relatively quiet. It's steps away from the Museum of Innocence, an easy to walk up to the main shopping street, or nearby groceries or cafes. Walking to the bus or metro is a pleasant ~10 min walk. ||Breakfast is terrific! Fresh tea / coffee (not instant!). Everyone gets a "bento box" of bread, cheese, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, and homemade jam. You can help yourself to fruit, cereal, baked goods, salads and choose from 3 rotating entrees, plus eggs. Everything is fresh and you can see the kitchen team preparing the fresh food. ||Finally, a shout out to the cleaning crew. The property is spotless and the beds are soft with lots of pillows to choose from.

The hotel is centrally located, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. It is an absolute gem and a delightful place to stay. The rooms are not only beautifully decorated but also extremely clean. The humorous and friendly staff make you feel welcome right away. The service is excellent, and even late at night, you can still enjoy a nightcap. A thoroughly wonderful experience!

This place was fantastic. In the heart of Beyoğlu but on a quiet street with cool restaurants, shops and cafes. A short walk to the tram or metro which takes you over to the main tourist sights. Such helpful staff from check-in to check-out. We had a terrace room which had a separate bedroom and useful kitchenette (including - unexpectedly - a washing machine). We were here for a few days breaking up a longer journey and it was perfect. We also used the attached Hamman (which you can use as a couple and a 10% discount). Fabulous.

First stay at Hammamhane and am very pleased. Been to Istanbul at least 20 times. I would definitely stay again at Hammamhane. Staff were friendly, responsive and on top of things. Reception staff checked, rechecked, and reliably made arrangements for transfers, etc. Communication was clear, helpful and timely from time of booking to day of departure. No surprise charges nor nonsense. Turkish breakfast included and could have been better (didn’t have kaymak 😢), but had plenty of options, and was more than adequate. | Hotel is on same street as many antique stores, vintage shops, good restaurants. I was scrubbed down and cleaned up twice by the lovely hammam next door. The street down the road from the hotel provides access to a taxi stand, boutiques, pharmacies, conveniences stores, many good eateries. TomTom Kebab, Avlu and Lemonlu Bahce are three of my favorites eateries all about 5 minute walk away. 10 Minutes down the hill is the tram for a quick ride to Sultanahmet, the ports, etc. | I was in Room 28, a large studio which has small balcony sitting area and kitchen. Important considerations for choosing the place all exceeded expectations: strong wifi for work, good working and QUIET air conditioning during the sweltering summer, very clean/well cared for accommodations. | Room design was good for relaxation as well as work. Lighting was great, allowing for nighttime work without eyestrain. Swiveling television screen helpful for multi-tasking. Kitchen equipped with basics such as a sharp knife and good glasses etc. | Three large windows let in natural light but appear triple-paned and with black-out curtains, so room was peacefully insulated from street noise and conducive to sleep. Washer/dryer was easy to use and worked well. Shower pressure and water temperature controls all good.

Yelp
Wonderful, small hotel in a cute neighborhood. Friendly staff, unique and comfy rooms, and a killer breakfast. Hipster and stylish, great music on their playlists in the common areas and relaxing patios. Did I mention the staff is wonderful? Seriously. No place I will stay on Istanbul.

Yelp
This hotel is a gem! Would absolutely stay here again. Wonderful breakfast, kind staff, great location! The manager is fabulous. He even got me a cake for my birthday. Bilal was great, as was Ufuk, the kitchen and cleaning staff were also lovely. The rooms have washers! Can't say enough good things about this.
