I loved this shop! I purchased several unique gifts and want to go back really soon! Super friendly staff and if you want beautiful bedding, dishes and kitchen items this is for you! Some very nice clothing too! A great way to just enjoy shopping!

A huge, gorgeous home furnishings shop with a mix of furniture, kitchen goods, books, clothing, etc... I only wish they were closer or had another store in Boston.

Dear, yet worthy

With the extremely long wait times for new furniture due to supply chain problems, I was thrilled to walk into the GB Hammertown and see a sofa that was the right size, really comfortable, and reasonably priced. When I inquired about lead times for that sofa in the color I wanted, the manager told that they were expecting such a sofa in a month or so. Today I got a call saying it arrived today and could be delivered as soon as it was convenient for me. What great service and from a local store! I plan to shop at Hammertown again soon. Lovely people and great products.

I hadn't been here in about a year, and upon a new visit found the staff to be as unhelpful as ever. And why is there a solar system mobile hanging from the ceiling with a price tag on it if it is totally out of stock, unclear if more will ever arrive, and the floor model is not for sale? "Because it's high up," she said!

Purchased a couch which I was told I could pick up at the warehouse in New Canaan, CT. On the way to pick up I called to confirm the address and was told that the warehouse is actually located in Canaan, CT. Did not get the sense that the store staff really cared what happened after the sale was made. Was not able to reach anyone to confirm the address in the days leading up to the pickup. Very unsatisfactory.

Really loved the style and color palette of this shop. It's a beautiful store with a relatively reasonable price point. My husband and I just got married and we were able to find a few small items for our new place, and we hope to visit again.
