Hampden Bridge

It may just be a bridge, but the area around it is absolutely stunning. The drive from Sydney is so scenic. The surroundings make the whole trip feel worth it. There’s parking conveniently located nearby, and from the parking area you have easy access down to the river, which makes it a great spot to relax and take in the views. The bridge adds a lot of character and charm to the area. It’s a beautiful reminder of the region’s history..

Marvellous piece of architectural and engineering history worth stopping for a look and a short walk along the river to the lookouts.

Probably the highlight ( in terms of looks) of the town. Make it seem historic. It’s a small bridge. But looks cool. If around check it out.

Great swimming hole / beach under the bridge

Now this is a bridge I haven't seen since I was a kid and obligatory school hols road trip. Hampden bridge is both a piece of history (opened in 1898) and also an important single lane bridge on Moss Vale road in Kangaroo Valley. If you are in the area, pull over and check this piece of history for yourself.

An architectural piece thats lasted decades (hopefully forever). Holds lots of history and is sturdy, and right next to it is a kayak and camping ground rental place. Perfect for spring/summer adventures.

Nice place for a quick stopover by the side of water and scenic views. If you would like to do quaking you can hire and go for an adventure.
