Hampton by Hilton Berlin City East Side Gallery

I needed a hotel for the evening before I left the next day close to the area I was already at. For the price, I'm fairly certain it's hard to beat the product offered by this hotel. I debated between this and my other choice, the Indigo next door, which I've always found to be a strong brand. Having come from a neighboring hotel "Michelberger" for four days with no air conditioning, Hampton East Side Gallery was a complete change.||Check in was perfect and standard, meanwhile there was no room to check me in a bit early at Michelberger at all. ||In order of what I appreciated the most given the comparison|1. 1/2 the cost of the Michelberger for a far superior product|2. Working air conditioning in Berlin Summer|3. Breakfast included for everyone and doesn't try to charge people 22 euros for a few slices of cheese like Michelberger|4. Clean room, everything looks new no dust on the bed frame (unlike Michel Berger)|5. Quiet. At Michel Berger my room was hot and stuffy forcing me to open a window, which then drew in loud noises next to the train tracks and party goers in the area|5. Upgraded to a room with a good view|6. Stored my luggage for a day safe and sound||There's a bus station right outside the hotel. But tip: Plenty of scooters to rent for $0.10 - $0.30 a minute and you can scooter to the subway station if you don't want to walk. For an extra 9 minute walk to the subway station I would say well well worth it.

Fantastic experience at this delightful venue. The checkin was extremely smooth, friendly and efficient with a nice upgrade to a river view room and free snack. No bottled water at this venue though and breakfast was very very good. This is probably equal to the other excellent Hampton in Utrecht, although the views here in Berlin are better than Utrecht, Utrecht’s breakfast was slightly better. This Hampton and its staff are a far more pleasant experience than the nearby Alexanderplatz offering.

I had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with all the essentials provided. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Breakfast was included and offered a great variety of fresh options, both hot and cold. The hotel’s location was convenient, close to public transport and local attractions.

I had a very pleasant stay here! The rooms were very comfortable and mine had a beautiful view to the East Side Gallery, the river and the Berlin Wall. The beds were very comfortable and I could easily catch some good night sleep. Breakfast was very good! Very different choices for a buffet with even the choice for making your own pancakes. Totally recommend having it. You can also sit to watch the beautiful view of the East Side Gallery. My only issue was that the telephone for the reception never worked. But taking that issue apart my stay was pretty lovely.

This hotel was a great pick. We were attending a concert at Uber Eats Music Hall which is round the corner and as I am not familiar with Berlin I wanted to avoid the stress of having to travel too far. Location is superb, the remains of the Berlin Wall that is now an outdoor art gallery is across the road. The hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms are small but at this price point and for a short stay it is fine. The buffet breakfast was busy over the weekend but on Monday as we were leaving it was calm and quiet. The staff were very helpful and the bar area in the evening was very pleasant and our fellow residents were very friendly too. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance. It is well served by public transport with bus stops and stations very close. We had a great weekend and I would highly recommend staying here if visiting Berlin.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great. One detail I really appreciated was that the breakfast options changed each morning—this is a big plus if you're staying for several days, and everything we tried was quite delicious. The staff were always kind and happy to help, making our stay even more pleasant. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk to the Uber Arena and only 1–2 minutes to the nearest bus station. There are also plenty of terraces and dining options nearby. If you're staying in one of the upper-floor rooms, the view is wonderful—some rooms even offer a view of the Berlin Wall, which adds a unique historical touch to the experience. Even though it is very close to Uber Arena, the rooms are so quiet . They also have 2 meeting rooms in case you are traveling with work.

Good hotel, but I wouldn’t stay for more than 1 night. Standard rooms, I got the one with beautiful view to Berlin Wall, but my colleagues had no any view (just behind the window there was a concrete wall of another building). The breakfast was ok, but the choice was limited (the day I stayed only boiled eggs were offered, no scrambled eggs at all). Personal rather friendly with some exception like the barmen who instead of giving me a glass of tap water in the late evening offered me to go to my room and drink for free there.

Older property, but well located in Kudamm. Clean, good value for money, parking nearby in public garage is cheaper then hotel. Breakfast is a good variety but for goodness sake stop using ready made eggs for scrambled egg, it’s bad news for humanity that the chef can’t prepare eggs fresh rather then from the pack. They taste horrible too.

Whatever you do, don't stay here!!! I would give zero stars if possible. I checked in during a heat wave and the air conditioner in my room didn't work. The heat was terrible, so I asked to switch to a room with working A/C. The staff refused & also said they couldn't give me a fan. All they could offer was earplugs to block noise when I opened the window, which didn't help at all. Terrible staff and hotel!
