If you are attending a trade show at Messe Frankfurt, this hotel is a good choice. It is clean, efficient, and quiet. Our rooms were comfortable, although the bath towels were a bit "scratchy" and not luxurious. We had stayed in another nearby hotel two years ago, and it was comparable, for a much higher price.
The breakfast is decent. Definitely a few steps up from the typical Continental breakfast offered at some hotels, with some nice hot dishes (beans, meats, etc.), and a good selection of cold breakfast meats, grains, vegetables and fruits. A small but tasty selection of pastries. The coffee machine makes surprisingly nice espresso drinks, and I enjoyed my morning cappuccino each day.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. We never had to wait with a question. Check-in was smooth, and they graciously offered to hold our bags for us when we arrived early and our rooms weren't ready.
For a business traveler on a budget, you can't ask for much more.
One thing to be aware of is that there are quite a few hotels up the street from the Hampton in the direction of traffic, so if you are looking to catch a taxi when the dinner rush starts, you may have to wait a while. The desk staff was very helpful with an electronic "taxi butler" that called the taxi for us, but sometimes, there was a line/queue for pickup.
I'd stay here again, if the price is right. Since prices around the Messe were jacked up for our trade show, it helped to use our Hilton Honors points to get a steep discount!
