We arrived to check in, and the receptionist barely said a word to us. I had to ask what time breakfast was. He simply asked for my last name and proceeded to make a key. He gave me the piece of paper to sign, which he just left on the counter until, we had picked up our luggage from the storage room. |He asked us for the tags from our bags to ensure we took the right bags. Watching me struggle over other luggage to get to mine, without helping me. We figured out ourselves that we needed to go to the 11th floor, because of the number on our keycard. This was by far the worst 'reception' I have ever had in a hotel. In our room, we had a towel with holes in! The breakfast was nice a great choice of things to have, however we were missing some orange juice. There was none to be had.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are large. Bathroom is equipped with shower gel shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and body lotion. All are high quality. Breakfast included offers a good choice. Bread is warm and fresh. Your can even makevyour own waffles. Location is ok especially if you are traveling by train as its only 10 min walk to main train station. Staff are welcoming and very helpful.

Please avoid this hotel. Read the reviews before you book. Took 45 minutes to check in due to some problems. Booked 2 rooms for 5 people. One room with queen size bed with harbor view on high floors. Got room with single beds on the third floor overlooking the roof in the backyard. The other room was booked with 2 single beds and a sleeping couch. Got a queen size bed. Still on third floor overlooking the street. Only 2! elevators for a hotel with 13! floors. Long waiting time just to go up or down. Breakfast is hilarious. Breakfast was until 11 this Sunday. Got there at 9. No tables available. No bread (asked the girl who worked there and she said they were out of bread). Dirty plates. They only had salami, ham and cheese. They also had a waffle station that I did not try. But that seemed to work. You are going to be disappointed if you book this hotel with the prices you pay for this! Rooms are nice and beds are ok. Nice bathroom with shower.

In August we had a stay of three nights. During the entire period there was no internet, the breakfast was inadequate and there was not enough pace in the restaurant. |In addition, we were referred to parking our car at the nearby "Exerzierplads", for a normal hourly fee. But on day two, our car was removed from the parking lot because the space was to be used as a market place. It was not an information the receptionist had given us. We therefore had to drive 20 minutes in a taxi and pay 280 euros to get our car back, a total cost of 305 euro. |We talked to the hotel manager about this, and he promised us a 20% discount - because his staff had made a mistake when they directed us to the car park.|Now a month has passed and we still haven't received our 20%, despite talking to the head of reception and the hotel manager.|We have tried to call the hotel in vain - completely impossible to get through, and there is no email address, so we cannot write to them either.|Bad - just bad!

Pros: The hotel is clean and they offer free breakfast.||Cons: Do NOT stay here until they have figured out how to keep their system online and working consistently! The check-in/check-out process is a nightmare and takes a very long time. Be sure to keep your credit card receipt if they charge you upfront or they will try to say you haven’t paid when you check out. ||The WiFi does not work at all in any of the rooms; only in the lobby, so this was a HUGE inconvenience! ||The breakfast area is very crowded unless you go before 7:00am. The best thing they have is waffles you make yourself. ||The two elevators are small and slow.||The room is small and has no drawers. The shower is open and it’s impossible to take a shower without getting water everywhere. ||It took three days to get anyone to clean the room. I had to go to the front desk to get towels and take my own trash downstairs. Once they started coming, it was very inconsistent timing; sometimes 9:00am, sometimes 3:00pm. I suggest grabbing extra towels when you can. ||The hotel does not offer parking. There’s a parking lot next door, but you can’t park there Tuesday night, Wednesday until after 2pm, Friday night or Saturday before 2pm. There’s also a paid parking deck next door for $28/day. ||To sum up, this hotel is a good location and used a lot by cruisers, but I would not stay here again for all of the above reasons.

When we arrived at 4 p.m we were told the room wasn't ready. In the reception, we were recommended to park our car in the square opposite the hotel, but they forgot to tell us that there would be a market the next day and it is not allowed to park on market days. When checked out our car was not there, "Autoservice Scheele GmbH" took it and brought in to a parking area 20km away from the hotel. It cost 290,90EUR to get back the car. The Operations Manager of the hotel didn`t agreed with our complaints. They haven`t informed us about the parking, he said there were signs all over the hotel, he lied that we have been informed at the reception, but we haven`t, the receptionist confirmed that they forgot to inform us. The rooms feel small. Breakfast was a disaster, dirty plates, no free tables, food and drinks were not refilled on time. Please avoid this hotel. We had a very bad experience.

Seriously understaffed hotel. Arrived during the crowdstrike IT-crash and they did not handle it well. Waited more than four hours until starting doing the check in the old fashioned way. We arrived at 4 pm and got into the rooms at 9 pm. Should have called in more staff immediately. Breakfast total chaos. No forks or plates available, guests everywhere and only two people working. Dirty dishes all over the place. Disgusting, we ended up going to a nearby cafe instead. Elevators also underdimensioned, only two small ones for 13 story hotel. Had to walk 5 floors to avoid lines. Rooms were nice though, could be an ok hotel if they doubled the staff!
