It's a difficult evaluation the one for this hotel. On one side, staff is well prepared and professional, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast is various and position acceptable. On the other side, the lounge entry room is a bit cold, the pillows in the rooms are terrible, the down side of the breakfast is that quality of the ingredients is not great, the downside of the position is that still you're 45 to 60 minutes walking from the city center. So, I'd say this place is a solid 3 stars, that could easily improve to 4 by solving the "pillows issue" in the rooms, getting a better heating in the lounge room and improve the quality of breakfast ingredients (that, again, is anyway ok in terms of variety).

I was satisfied with this hotel. Average conditions when visiting a rather budget hotel. The location is OK, takes only 10min by public transport to get to the metro station, and from there it’s only around 5min to Allianz Arena and around 15min to the city centre. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Breakfast was on an average level.

I have recently booked a room for my trip from Feb-28, to March 02, 2025. Due to Munich Airport Closure on 28th of February 2025, I had to cancel my Booking, because my flight has been canceled. But the hotel charged me for my stay of first night. That is not fair. It was not my mistake it was flight cancellation due to Airport closure. They did not understand my situation.

I just wanted to express my deep disappointment from their treatment. I have booked two rooms thru booking.com and mistakenly I put date in 22 March instead 22 Feb. I realized in the same day before my departure to Munich that I did the wrong date. I have contacted the property as instructed by booking.com as they are a mediator and can't change the date without the property approval. They refused to change the date and asked me to cancel the booking and pay fee which is 90% of the total amount in order to book again the correct date!!! I tried to explain to them that was by mistake and I am ready to pay the difference in price if any but they refused to help. I informed them that we still have a month before the booking date and I should be able to change or cancel it without a fee. I contacted booking.com to help and they tried to ask for exception to waive off the cancelation fee or at least reduce it. Unfortunately they were not cooperated and insisted to pay the 90% of the total amount. I called them with no success. I booked in another hotel and I lost my money due to such bad treatment from them. I was booking flight and a car with the wrong date which they agreed to cancel it without fee. I booked again flight and a car to proceed with my trip. I don't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It is really very bad that they refused to help with excuse that their policy is not allowing them to do.

A pleasant enough experience. The hotel was clean and functional for the most part with a few hiccups. Breakfast would get a little hectic if you get there with the masses but before 7.30 it was okay, and the offering itself is good. Staff were pleasant and spoke a good level of English. The gym room is small but functional with a good range of weights.

Stayed here for two nights a few weeks ago. I've got to say that for the price I was not impressed. The staff were very curt and me and made me feel unwelcome, I've been living in Europe for a while so I'm used to the straightforwardness of Germans, but this was more of a dismissive contempt that anything. Not pleasant to interact with. Our room never got fresh towels, put them on the floor and were out the entire day and nothing. Plus, the room had something in it that I was allergic to, I was coughing much of the night both nights. When I told the staff, they did not acknowledge I had said anything, had a conversation in German, and when I made a hand gesture for a response the dude said "we'll look into it" without even making eye contact. The breakfast was pretty good, but I've had much better at smaller hotels than a Hilton. Also, the kitchen staff were super nice, I liked them quite a bit, all smile and "good mornings".

Hampton by Hilton Munich City North is a modern and comfortable hotel that provides a great stay for both business and leisure travelers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel offers a generous breakfast spread, which is a great start to the day. Its location is convenient, with easy access to public transport, making it simple to explore Munich’s major attractions like Marienplatz, the English Garden, and more. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. While the area is quieter, it offers a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the city center, yet still close to everything you need. Highly recommended for those looking for a comfortable and well-located stay in Munich.

Hotel is not far from the airport. Room is a fair size and quiet. They need to provide more things at The bathroom like shower cap, cotton pads etc. I found breakfast to be very limited and I couldn’t have much besides yogurt and fruit.
