Yelp
Renovated, clean and comfortable hotel with great access to downtown DC (green line metro station right around the corner). We booked a King room on Expedia just a few days before our stay and we got a great price. Overall, we were pretty happy with our stay. The interior of the hotel was really nice, our room was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and it's great that they have breakfast. Also, we forgot toothpaste and they have some at the front desk!
There were just a few things that weren't the best, but it didn't cloud our experience too much.
-Check-in took almost 15 minutes and I was the only one in line, and there were 4 people behind the desk. There must have been something wrong with the key machine, but it took forever and I really just wanted to go to my room.
-The room was super tiny, which I didn't mind all that much since we didn't spend a lot of time there. But the bathroom was huge and beautiful, so that made up for it.
-It looked like only 1 elevator was working, and it was really small and crowded each time we used it. Also, staff use that elevator, so they would bring cleaning and tool carts in there, which was a bit odd.
-While it's great they have free breakfast, it wasn't very good. The bacon was probably the worst bacon I've had in my life. Yikes! I'd suggest to just stick to the bagels, cereal or fruit.
-Loud construction noise that started around 9AM (not the hotels fault but took away from comfort)
These are small things that didn't really alter my experience, but wanted to share. Overall, I would stay here again!
