Hampton Inn by Hilton Sydney

I have stayed at almost (not quite all) hotels in the Sydney area and I'm here to say this is the one you should book. The staff are fantastic, helpful, and friendly. That's the norm for the area it's a friendly community but they are truly so helpful and kind. Anything you need that is within their capability (and within reason, Karens) to provide they will. The rooms are also great! Are they a tad dated in some cases? Sure, but compared to their competition there is no competition honestly. It is also by far the CLEANEST hotel I've stayed at in the area, I've never had a room that made me doubt the standards of whoever cleaned it they are immaculate. I'm staying here for the third time and always comment to my partner that you can just smell how clean everything is. Another random point, my partner works early hours and a lot of hotels start breakfast too late for his hours while here, but they run breakfast starting at 6am so if you're an early bird you're good to go. Overall if you're staying in Sydney this is the hotel I'd recommend to you, I have little to no negative things to say.

I can’t believe we have been overlooking this hotel during our stays in Sydney. With newly renovated/immaculate rooms, FREE parking on site (other hotel chains on the waterfront will charge $20-$25), breakfast included with a warm, informative greeting from Mark at the front desk who met my requests, we felt right at home! ||That being said, we did run into a few nuances while staying. Although the breakfast had numerous options and was well stocked/kept, the potatoes were under cooked. We didn’t have hot water to shower that morning neither, needing to take a lukewarm sponge bath at the sink which was not ideal after being at the pool. ||The pool is small but has an enclosed water slide with its separate exit from the pool to the right. I am unsure if this is typically a heated pool, but the water was cool when my daughter and I entered. With the boisterous children doing canon balls in the already limited space plus the cold water, we ended up leaving within 15 minutes. The towels were equally not available to guests, needing my daughter and I to retrieve our own room towels as advised by the front desk as they were “washing the pool towels.” ||Overall, the hotel has a lot to offer. Superb customer service at check-in and outstanding cleanliness standards is a win for us. Thanks for having us!

What an absolutely beautiful hotel! They've had renovations completed in the past 2 years and it is amazing. Our room was perfection and that bed was a dream! My Wife and I went to sleep, almost, immediately and when we got up it didn't look like we had moved! Wonderful staff and just a wonderful experience! Thank you!

I didn't know what to expect from this hotel, but was pleasantly surprised! It's probably one of the nicest Hampton Inns in North America.||It's on the First Nations reservation, up a hill just outside of town. There's a nice view of town if you're on the right side of the hotel. Watching the cruise ships navigate the narrow bay was neat.||The hotel lobby is fit for an upscale ski resort and our room felt very new. The hotel is attached to the convention center, but there was nothing happening at that venue at any time around our stay, so the hallways felt very empty. It didn't bug me at all, but for the hotel's sake (it's huge), they're gonna need some more events to hit the Sydney area.

But when you're paying 200 bucks a night for you know a 7-hour sleep at a motel beside of the road. The location was horrible The service was great. The breakfast was great. The rooms were okay. The bedding was beautiful. The bathrooms was nice. I just wish you know when the hotel is not as full. They give you a room facing the water opposed to a parking lot

Had not stayed at a Hampton Hotel for many years. Very nice hotel. Big, comfortable rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of free parking. Well-equipped gym. Front desk very helpful. The breakfast was okay, typical hotel free breakfast.

Stayed here over the spring hockey season. This Hampton Inn has to be the busiest and nicest Hampton I have stayed in, the entry way is huge so if they happen to be busy you can sit down and wait your turn without interrupting any of the guests.Breakfast is amazing with fresh muffins and fruit with plenty of hot coffee. The pool and slide is a bonus for families after a busy day at the rink or any other sport that brings you to Sydney. Totally recommend if you happen to be looking for a truly amazing and comfortable hotel in the Sydney area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Hampton Inn. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable. There is a catwalk to the restaurant next door. Great if weather is foul. Seemed to have plenty of staff, very attentive. If I have a negative it would be this, maybe just our room, not sure. The a/c-heat unit seemed to snap, cracked and popped. When you used the washroom the plumbing pipes rattled and thumped. These are minor but can be irritating to others. I would stay here when in Sidney again. Recommend.

Best hotel in town ! Night staff are very chill and laid back and enjoy having a good laugh very muchly recommend and should raise there salary

Another visit, another great experience. We stay here probably once a year for a few days and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly and personable. They appreciate Diamond members (each day there were two bottles of water in our room) and are all around great. The breakfast was sufficiently stocked (and there was quite a crowd) and everything was tasty. The toilet paper is soft! The wifi was sufficient. Great experience again!

Beautiful hotel with great service! The room was very clean with a great view. We usually stay in Marriotts but glad we tried Hampton. Nice breakfast in the morning. It goes til 10:00am, which is a huge bonus with a sleepy teen. Pool is small but nice and has a water slide for the kiddos.

This hotel is damn fine, y'all. It's brand new, packed with free services, and beautifully designed. It might not be in downtown Sydney (is there such a thing?) but it's so close that it doesn't even matter. Shall we start with the 24/7 coffee and chocolate chip cookie bar by the front desk, or do you want to hear about the beautiful lounge and sitting area with plenty of room to, er, get out of your hotel room should you feel so inclined? Perfect for this week as my entire family has invaded and no one wants to host everyone in their own suites. In the mornings, the lounge becomes a complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet from 6-10am. Just lovely. The rooms themselves are super. Big, beautiful, comfortable beds plus surprisingly ergonomic work desks and a kitchenette with sink, microwave and fridge really combine everything I could need in a hotel stay. Likewise, the bathroom comes outfitted with a selection of mid-range products and the promise that you can pick up whatever you forgot from a selection of just-in-case items at the front desk. An office suite, a fitness facility, and complimentary shoeshine round out the selection of freebies from what I can remember while the restaurant attached by pedway is available to take care of hunger pains thanks to a 10% off card you get upon checking in. Only two things keep this from being a five-star experience. First, the free high speed internet access has been super dicey. It was okay first thing in the morning, but by evening I couldn't even get Gmail to properly load. It seems to come and go. Second, the soundproofing could use some work. It's not a loud, party hotel, but you can definitely hear what's going on around you. All in all, a comfortable home away from home!

Nice hotel probably nicer looking than the majority of Hampton inns but the wireless wasn't working which was annoying and the coffee machine was never cleaned out. Also when coming back the sink was covered with coffee splatters.

Excellent place to stay. Never disappointed by the Hilton branded properties. Excellent breakfast, free, to start your day right. Bright airy rooms. Excellent amenities and lots of free parking. Comfortable beds and great bathroom with waterpik massage showerhead. Attached to the membertou trade and convention center (and Kiju's restaurant). Definitely recommended.

Awesome! Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, fresh and tasty. They even had non-dairy creamer! Breakfast was included and everything was so tasty! The staff were lovely, we stayed for 2 nights and the housekeeper knew our son's name Loved the Hampton, this will be our go to hotel for all trips to Sydney.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff were friendly, the amenities were great and the free drinks even better!! It's even dog friendly!! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

I travel constantly across this country and have yet to find a hotel that matched the service I received in this hotel. I stayed for 2 1/2 weeks with a large group and the staff went above and beyond taking care of us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Sydney area.

Just stayed at this new hotel here for the first time. It's impressive. Beautifully designed, with a fridge and microwave in each room. Full buffet breakfast included, and a fitness centre on site. It's first-class. My new first choice in Sydney.

This was a great hotel, clean and modern. We stayed in many hotels, but if I recall correctly we had a mini kitchen in this regular room, fridge, counter, sink- everything. It was nice. It comes w/ complimentary breakfast buffet which had plenty of options and was decent tasting.

Recently stayed at this hotel , booked 2 rooms as we took a couple children for a bday celebration , will never stay again all the children woke up at 1am scared with the all the noise in the halls ! It finally stopped at 5:30am ! Was very disappointed !!
