Hampton Inn by Hilton Sydney

Stayed here and the room was a nice size but it wasn’t the cleanest. I looked clean but the nooks and crannies were not as clean as I am accustomed to. The location is good because it is quite close to everything. The beds were comfortable but they were extremely noisy when you sit on them. The staff were pleasant and tried to find us a room where the beds weren’t so loud. The breakfast was good. It takes about 40 minutes to get to The Cabot Trail. We stayed two nights and did the Cabot Trail. It’s about 5-10 minutes to downtown.

A great hotel in Sydney. Efficient helpful and friendly reception staff. Our room and bathroom with shower, was very spacious, A very comfortable bed. The breakfast, which was complimentary, was adequate without being great. We really appreciated Kiju’s restaurant which is just a short stroll across the covered walkway, where we enjoyed two excellent dinners. We would definitely stay again.

I booked via the Hilton Honours app. When I arrived at the hotel, the category of room that I requested wasn’t available. No big deal as the front desk agent told me that the new room would be a cheaper rate. Stayed three nights and when I was checking out, I was charged the original rate. The front desk staff were incredibly rude and indifferent to this. ||The cleanliness of the hotel seems to be suffering as well. There were dirty used wash cloths hanging from the shower rod when I got to my room. Also stepped on something sharp in the carpet, turned out to be someone’s toenail! There was also mold in the corner of the shower! ||I have stayed here numerous times in the last few years, but will be staying elsewhere next time I’m in the area.

My room was prebooked by my organization. We arrived to find that it was 2 queen beds without a sofa or armchair. Yasah was the very helpful young man at the desk. When I asked if the room could be changed, he told me that the hotel was full but that he would see what he could do. After a minute of searching, he found a room that fit our request. I was very impressed with how friendly and helpful he was. And breakfast was great.

Stayed here for the week and the family loved it. Rooms were clean and spacious. Kids loved the pool with the indoor slide. Breakfast was included each day. Various cereals, fruit and yogurts, bread and bagels with various jams. Waffle station to makr your own waffles with syrups and other toppings. Eggs, bacon, sausage on totation and warm oatmeal. Dinner can be enjoyed at Kiju the restaurant attached to the convention centre. Overall great time

Positive: This is a very clean and quiet hotel. Negative: Hampton Inn always has the best breakfast selection. Unfortunately, o this stay they did not have their scrambled egg, but rather some plain egg disks that were not great.

This was probably one of my favorite hotels. There were a lot of small smart touches and the room was great. Updated and comfortable. Microwave and fridge in the room were appreciated. Toiletries provided were of a good quality and many were provided - both in shower and beside the sink. There was a basket for pool towels by the elevator on each floor - I liked this, kids always take the towels and this was an easy way to return them. Hot drinks in the lobby available anytime. I also appreciated that they kept the pool towels by the front desk. It was the beginning of March break when we were there so lots of kids, this made sure towels were always plentiful. Lots of considerate touches.

We were placed in an older room and were disappointed after a recent stay in a renovated room in the Fall. The bed and pillows were saggy that caused back pain. Other hockey families I spoke with reported similar experiences. |* Request for room change due to carpet and asthma issues was denied, stating that all rooms had carpet. Having stayed in the Fall in a newer room, we know this is not the case (photos on Google will also prove this point). |* Despite choosing a room in the app on a higher floor, the property changed it at 11am on the day of check-in to the second floor instead. I assume this was due to the request to be on the same floor as our fellow hockey team, though there was no sense of having us on the same floor because we were apart from all other families who were put together anyways. |* No complimentary water bottles were in the room despite being Hilton members. Not a huge deal, but the small things add up when you’re travelling with a family in tow. |* No housekeeping service despite a two night stay. |* Pool is small and on the cooler side. No matter the time of year, it is always busy and difficult to enjoy due to the lack of space.||We would only return if we were guaranteed a newer room or if we were attending an event at the Convention Center.

Best hotel in town ! Night staff are very chill and laid back and enjoy having a good laugh very muchly recommend and should raise there salary

Another visit, another great experience. We stay here probably once a year for a few days and it's always a great experience. The staff is friendly and personable. They appreciate Diamond members (each day there were two bottles of water in our room) and are all around great. The breakfast was sufficiently stocked (and there was quite a crowd) and everything was tasty. The toilet paper is soft! The wifi was sufficient. Great experience again!

Beautiful hotel with great service! The room was very clean with a great view. We usually stay in Marriotts but glad we tried Hampton. Nice breakfast in the morning. It goes til 10:00am, which is a huge bonus with a sleepy teen. Pool is small but nice and has a water slide for the kiddos.

This hotel is damn fine, y'all. It's brand new, packed with free services, and beautifully designed. It might not be in downtown Sydney (is there such a thing?) but it's so close that it doesn't even matter. Shall we start with the 24/7 coffee and chocolate chip cookie bar by the front desk, or do you want to hear about the beautiful lounge and sitting area with plenty of room to, er, get out of your hotel room should you feel so inclined? Perfect for this week as my entire family has invaded and no one wants to host everyone in their own suites. In the mornings, the lounge becomes a complimentary hot and cold breakfast buffet from 6-10am. Just lovely. The rooms themselves are super. Big, beautiful, comfortable beds plus surprisingly ergonomic work desks and a kitchenette with sink, microwave and fridge really combine everything I could need in a hotel stay. Likewise, the bathroom comes outfitted with a selection of mid-range products and the promise that you can pick up whatever you forgot from a selection of just-in-case items at the front desk. An office suite, a fitness facility, and complimentary shoeshine round out the selection of freebies from what I can remember while the restaurant attached by pedway is available to take care of hunger pains thanks to a 10% off card you get upon checking in. Only two things keep this from being a five-star experience. First, the free high speed internet access has been super dicey. It was okay first thing in the morning, but by evening I couldn't even get Gmail to properly load. It seems to come and go. Second, the soundproofing could use some work. It's not a loud, party hotel, but you can definitely hear what's going on around you. All in all, a comfortable home away from home!

Nice hotel probably nicer looking than the majority of Hampton inns but the wireless wasn't working which was annoying and the coffee machine was never cleaned out. Also when coming back the sink was covered with coffee splatters.

Excellent place to stay. Never disappointed by the Hilton branded properties. Excellent breakfast, free, to start your day right. Bright airy rooms. Excellent amenities and lots of free parking. Comfortable beds and great bathroom with waterpik massage showerhead. Attached to the membertou trade and convention center (and Kiju's restaurant). Definitely recommended.

Awesome! Complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, fresh and tasty. They even had non-dairy creamer! Breakfast was included and everything was so tasty! The staff were lovely, we stayed for 2 nights and the housekeeper knew our son's name Loved the Hampton, this will be our go to hotel for all trips to Sydney.

This was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff were friendly, the amenities were great and the free drinks even better!! It's even dog friendly!! Highly recommend staying here if you're in the area.

I travel constantly across this country and have yet to find a hotel that matched the service I received in this hotel. I stayed for 2 1/2 weeks with a large group and the staff went above and beyond taking care of us. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Sydney area.

Just stayed at this new hotel here for the first time. It's impressive. Beautifully designed, with a fridge and microwave in each room. Full buffet breakfast included, and a fitness centre on site. It's first-class. My new first choice in Sydney.

This was a great hotel, clean and modern. We stayed in many hotels, but if I recall correctly we had a mini kitchen in this regular room, fridge, counter, sink- everything. It was nice. It comes w/ complimentary breakfast buffet which had plenty of options and was decent tasting.

Recently stayed at this hotel , booked 2 rooms as we took a couple children for a bday celebration , will never stay again all the children woke up at 1am scared with the all the noise in the halls ! It finally stopped at 5:30am ! Was very disappointed !!
