Nothing to do but park your car and enjoy yourself! This hotel is surrounded by tons of unique shops, many restaurants and bars, and tons of entertainment options and activities for little kids to adults - families, singles and couples….all within walking distance. The hotel is beautiful, staff is warm and welcoming, generous breakfast (included with stay), clean, large rooms and two pools. Parking is free. We’d be very happy to stay here again!!

Lovely hotel in a lovely area. This Hampton Inn is a step above. The lobby area was very pretty. Our room was clean and nice and quiet. Complementary breakfast was what you would expect at a Hampton inn. ||Breakfast personnel can definitely be a hit or miss and this one was a hit! She was so attentive and even gave us tips on things to do. ||Broadway at the beach is a fun area to walk around. It’s clean and we enjoyed seeing the sites.

Google
Great experience overall and would stay here again. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was so good. The beds were very comfy and the room was well prepped for our arrival. The location is perfect if you are wanting to visit Broadway at the Beach. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star and not 5 is because I had prepaid for my room and when I got there to check in, instead of putting a credit card on file, they charged my credit card again for the room even though it was already paid for months in advance. The lady at the desk took care of it, but that was an expensive mistake to make on my behalf.

Google
Walking distance (10 minute walk) to the Myrtle Beach convention center. Staff were courteous, kind, and the rooms were so comfy! Indoor pool, outdoor pool, a full breakfast every morning. Exceptional location that provides great entertainment for all ages. Really enjoy the atmosphere and the fireworks. Considering coming here again.

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach - Broadway at the Beach, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel is beautifully designed and perfectly nestled among the vibrant shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. Everything you could want is just steps away—no need to drive anywhere! We stayed on the 8th floor with a stunning view overlooking the lake, which made our mornings and evenings extra special. The hotel amenities were fantastic—clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great complimentary breakfast to start the day. This location really can’t be beat. Whether you’re in the mood for dining, shopping, or family fun, it’s all in one spot. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach!

Google
For the price of this hotel, overall a bit disappointing ||I’ll start with the pros - Front desk clerk - Ian I believe was incredible. He was the best part of our stay. Extremely accommodating and friendly! Other plus was the breakfast - very large selection that was constantly replenished and the breakfast attendants were very courteous and always on top of things. Lobby seating and outdoor patio were also nice. Lakeside view from room was another a plus. ||Unfortunately there are more cons than pros. Digital check in key doesn’t work without going to the desk so it defeats the purpose, luggage carts are not at the lobby entrance which we didn’t realize until after making 3 trips up and down that they are located at the lower level and not at the lobby, room smelled like cat pee, housekeeping service is was not provided despite the room costing $300/nt, queen beds felt more like full size. Room was dated and in need of renovations. ||If the price was more reflective of the quality of the hotel I’d stay again, but I’d otherwise opt for a beachfront hotel for less.

Google
The location is amazing. Once you get here you don’t need to drive anywhere for food, entertainment, or even desserts. It is literally attached to everything. I even enjoyed the included breakfast. Loved the western omelette, I would suggest having just a plain egg option for kids on the eggs but other than that, I will be back.

Google
Place was ideally located for everything what we wanted to do. The place was clean, the staff was kind and accommodating. You really do not have to leave the area if you did not want to. Breakfast was awesome and the pool was nice. Will absolutely go back when in town.

Yelp
I have no complaints about this hotel! I wanted to go somewhere different for Spring Break, and I thought my daughter would enjoy Myrtle Beach. This hotel is awesome because of its location! It's on Broadway at the Beach so we were very close to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and attractions. I hardly drove when we were in SC! We had a double queen room with a view of the lake. It was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for us! It also had a microwave, fridge, and a nice TV. There was an inside and outside pool, but we didn't use either one. It rained a couple of days, so we didn't want to use the outside pool. I think it was too crowded when my daughter wanted to use the indoor pool. It's always a plus when breakfast is included. There were a lot of selections - scrambled eggs, omelet, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, etc. My daughter had fun using the waffle maker but didn't like her waffles. The dining room is spacious, and we sat outside on the patio one morning to have a nice view of the lake. Staying at Hampton Inn was awesome!

Yelp
I am a Hampton Snob because I love the pillows and the morning breakfast. We made a last minute decision to come to the beach for my daughter's birthday. Upon arrival and after choosing contactless check in, I realized because of Myrtle Beach law we had to go show our license for our keys. Through my interaction with the front desk and meeting a wonderful employee named Angie, we ended up with this special view and a private room suite for my daughter's birthday. This hotel had a great location at the most southern point of North Myrtle. We had private parking and low volume beach, while still being close to everything. There are rules on the beach about keeping your umbrella in a straight line - so get your spot early - by at least 10 to be in lifeguard area. Place has a ton of pool both warm and cold, 2 lazy rivers and a jacuzzi. We tried all of the pools, hung at the beach, had breakfast, and hung in our room. The location of this resort can't be beat with beach access and how close it is to everything. The beach shop across the street also was also the best one and best prices we found during our week stay. Thx Angie for the birthday view and being awesome. I will stay here again.

Yelp
We return home today thinking we will look for another hotel. We have stayed there for years because they did not allow pets. Now, after booking our stay and going there we ran into dogs in the elevator, dogs walking down the hall with their owner. We ask for another room because when we went in, it had a smell that we didn't want to deal with. We were given a fifth-floor room, and it was clean smelling, but at night it sounded like a toss war above us. We learn that the hotel since covid has decided to allow pets all over the hotel, not just on one floor. A big change for the guest who prefer not to sleep in the same bed with pets etc. I am thinking that at some point a pet may wet the floor. We don't hate pets, and I have done pet sitting for family, but our vacation should be as perfect as possible, so we think. And to make it even worst, while having breakfast in the hotel, a guest decided to nurse her crying baby in front of everyone that would look that way. Sitting so close to the food station. The hotel attendant didn't address the issue. I think the attendant should have ask her to please leave the area. It was obvious, won't a shame at all. She was close to the food station. Not sure why Hilton decided to allow pets, unless it's to make more money but some of us that visit the hotel, won't be back and why is Hilton satisfying guest with pets and not guest that choose to leave pets at home. The hotel could use some updating as well and adding pets doesn't help in my opinion. We remember the tag they once would give you to put in your vehicle, not anymore. Now, anyone parks in the Hampton Inn parking lot and guest that are staying cannot even fine a park until non guest leave or park far away from the hotel. So disappointed with Hampton Inn Broadway at the Beach. The hotel is aging, and now for us, it is losing its five-star status.

Tina F.

Yelp
Not sure who's giving this place good reviews, it needs updating and remodeling badly. I wish I wouldn't have made my reservation for the entire week long stay. I would have found some place newer for a more reasonable price.

Scotty C.

Yelp
If you're spending any time at Broadway at the Beach, then this is the closest hotel for you because it's the only one on property (there are others across the street). We were on a bachelor trip and one of the group members works for Hilton so we got a deal. He had a suite with an adjoining double room which was perfect for our small group. It was the perfect location for going to grab food or drinks at and walk around to find something fun. We were also close to Top Golf and a short Uber ride to plenty of other bars etc... The Hotel was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly. I wish the outdoor pool was open, but it was early in the season so they were sill preparing it. There was an indoor pool, but we didn't end up using it.

Mike W.

Yelp
Meh. Needs an update, but overall it was a decent place. I wanted to give the tourist experience to my GF so I thought staying at tourist central would be a good start. I was right.

Tammy L.

Yelp
Clean rooms, friendly, great breakfast. Close to Boardwalk Comfortable beds and nice pool

Edmarie L.

Yelp
The service was great, each day of our 5 night stay we were greeted by the front desk staff. When we called the front desk for service, we received our requested items quickly. The location was fantastic, directly across from Broadway at the beach, a mile from the Minor League baseball stadium, and less than 10 minutes from the beach. The reason for 3 stars is they could use some maintenance upkeep. Because of their location, I imagine the stay fairly booked during peak season. Our entire stay, there was a leak from the AC vent in the front lobby, it was directly in front of the doors. For one or two days, fine, but all 5 is unfortunate. The caulking around the tub had rust coming through as well.

Tom C.

Yelp
Hotel was nice overall and the staff was very attentive. The room smelled like mildew.

Yelp
Our family finally reunited after a long COVID period for a Saturday- Tuesday trip to Myrtle Beach. We selected this hotel because of its proximity to the beach (1 mile drive) and the activities of Broadway at the Beach. And boy did we enjoy our visit. At check in, we were greeted by a friendly front desk clerk - there were actually two but the one that checked me in was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. (I forgot to grab her name but she was really good at her job!). Although we arrived early she provided a key yo access the doors so we could grab lunch. She even called yo let us know our room was ready (something the other clerk told the customer ahead of us she couldn't do). The hotel was clean and standard for Hampton's with a very average breakfast (think boiled eggs, link sausage, waffles, etc.). Honestly I've outgrown their breakfast and prefer to have a full hot meal out (see my review of Eggs Up Grill). But my niece loved that she could mix vanilla and chocolate in her waffles. This is my first time staying in their King 1 bedroom suite but it made for a nice space to gather as a family. Finally the have both an indoor and outdoor pool and my nieces and nephews love and spent the evenings hanging out in. Overall a gray stay!!

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and helpful. When I needed something the staff did all they could to assist me. The location was amazing. It was close to everything since it was right on the Broadway. I used the exercise room. It was very small and only one treadmill worked. I was the only one in there, but if another guest came into the room it would have been uncomfortable. There were continued issues with the door to my room that resulted in my key not working. This required multiple trips down to the front desk to get it resolved, I saw this happen to multiple guests. The breakfast was nicely done and the 24-hour coffee was a treat. It tasted very good too! I appreciated the shuttle service and the drivers were great. One of the drivers was Mr. Harvey and he was wonderful. The staff which was Will, Zavier, and I believe the manager's name was Veronica, were exceptional. Excellent job to Hampton Inn. Definitely know that the staff really made the stay extra nice.

Yelp
I did my research. I looked around for cities down the East Coast, from North Carolina through Northern Florida, for those that had not yet canceled their New Year's Eve fireworks. I found two: Jacksonville, Florida and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Myrtle Beach was closer, so we came here. And as I checked in to the hotel, the front desk person handed me a list of area activities which included in big, bold lettering the sentence "New Year's Eve fireworks have been cancelled." Seriously, 2020 can go F itself. At least the hotel is great

Yelp
We had a Sunday through Tuesday reservation at this hotel and we definitely weren't disappointed. We arrived around 3:30 PM, about half an hour before check in. Our room, an ocean front king, was not yet ready, so the woman on the desk asked if we minded if we stayed in a suite for the same price rather than wait. We've stayed in "suites" many times and have been totally unimpressed, but it was ready and we'd just driven from Western North Carolina and we were tired, so we said OK. The room was magnificent! A true suite - two totally separate rooms, a bedroom and sitting/dining room with a large TV in both rooms. Yes, the room was equipped with a full kitchen including an apartment sized refrigerator with freezer, two burner stove, microwave, even a dishwasher! We were blown away! We also found second story parking steps from our room. The room had a huge bathroom with separate shower and was well stocked with towels and wash cloths! We immediately decided we had a bit more time to spend in Myrtle Beach so we stopped on our way out for dinner and extended our stay two more nights. Did I mention the room was spotless! The next 4 days the breakfasts were varied and more than adequate. It would be a stretch to call them delicious, but they filled the bill nicely. The food area was monitored constantly while we were there and any shortages were quickly filled. There were also multiple toasters for the good variety of bagels and breads, and two waffle makers were also available. Why only 4 stars, then? When we went out to the pool area the next day, it was way too windy and cold for the beach, so we sat pool side. The noise generated by various things such as air-conditioners, pool pumps, utility doors opening and slamming, etc were very distracting and loud. Also the condition of the pools reflected that it was off season. Bits of debris were floating in the lazy river and the sides of the pools needed a good scrubbing. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! This was a well run establishment and we felt at home immediately with the friendly, attentive staff.

Christa S.

Yelp
Clean! Perfectly located! All the food and entertainment right outside. The free breakfasts were also good. Staff was always friendly and helpful!

Kevin B.

Yelp
As we planned a road trip thru the United States for two years of waiting thru covid We finally got our covid shots and we're on our trip , We stayed in over 25 different hotels thru our 32 day road trip This hotel was very expensive compared to other hotels with HIGHER quality The room was old and not well maintained The price was A Rip off for the accommodations I truly stayed in Nicer hotels for 300 less a night

Tieren S.

Yelp
We'll definitely stay here again. From check-in to check out, the reps were very friendly and helpful. All of the staff, from the cleaning ladies to the ladies that put out breakfast and restocked, were extremely friendly. At check-in, I was provided 2 bottled waters as a Hilton Honors member. I was given the option to receive an actual key card to use along with my digital key card. The hotel was clean. There's plenty of parking. The room was clean and ready for our arrival. I love that this hotel is right on the boardwalk. It's nice to just walk out and be in the midst of everything. The breakfast foods are typical Hampton Inn breakfast... powder eggs, assorted pastries, watered-down fake juices, interesting-tasting sausages. But! The waffles are always good and there's fresh fruit. I usually go for that. The next time we visit, unless we stay on the beach, we're staying here.

Pam W.

Yelp
This is a nice, clean and comfortable hotel attached to Broadway at the Beach, one of North Myrtle Beach's shopping areas. It's just a few blocks from the beach and steps from lots of restaurants, bars and shops. While the hotel is older, it is well maintained. The common areas are well kept and the staff is super friendly. This hotel comes with a breakfast that is passable but not great. I ended up sticking with cereal, coffee and toast, and whole fruit. I tried the cut fruit but it was not good. They put smoothies out one morning but they were room temperature, which is gross for something made with yogurt. . While I like this hotel, I think I'll pick one in the beach next time.

Rhonda J.

Yelp
More like 3.5. Location is great less than 2 miles from everything! You are right there on the Broadway area attractions. Accessing the walkway was a bit awkward you basically have to go through the parking lot. Surprising, it wasn't noisy but I was on the 7th floor. Keep that in mind when booking. If you like to bike;I felt safe biking to the beach and around the area. Lots of cyclist. There are time restrictions due to crowds on the boardwalk but they are reasonable. Bring your lock and have fun. The hotel is fine - staff ok- some were helpful some mediocre. The breakfast was typical. My room was fine BUT I question how thorough housekeeping is. My room was organized but a feeling of ick to it. Can't put my finger in it but I don't think they clean the room as good as they should and when you see someone from housekeeping sitting on the floor on the phone very unprofessional I don't care what your job is. The WiFi SUCKED but they offer a upgrade for a nominal fee . I had my my hotspot device with me thank goodness. I would probably stay here again on my next trip...... possibly. Also see my review for the Aquarium- rip off and see my review for Big Mikes Soul Food - yum.

Diane Y.

Yelp
I checked into this Hotel and my family and I have to check out the next day. The shower water was warm it wouldn't get hot at all. I was unable to get any local channels due to a bad connection with the Hotels cable system. When I called to complain no compensation was offered . If you are planning a vacation with your family to myrtle beach Please don't stay here. The staff was not pleasant the beds and the room smelled of old mold and nothing in the room or hotel is updated: Their GM should be ashamed of this property. Sincerely, Unhappy customer

Cynthia N.

Yelp
This Hampton Inn had a high ranking on a travel site, so I picked it for a last minute trip to Myrtle Beach. I'd had an unpleasantly eventful day attempting to get to Myrtle Beach and did not arrive at the hotel until after 11pm. I'd called earlier warning the hotel about my late arrival and check in was quick with no problem. I received a gift of water for being a Hilton Honors member even though I have not been traveling and staying in hotels for several years now which was a welcome and kind gesture. I was in a double bed room which had plenty of space for me. I appreciated that the room was clean (including being dust free) which is the most important quality in a hotel for me. I did not get a lake view room so I had a view of the parking lot. Honestly, I can't say that having a room with a lake view would have mattered because the lake view provides a view of the broadway which I can't say that I would have enjoyed. This Hampton Inn is located at the south end of Broadway at the Beach which is a circular stretch of shopping, restaurants, and mini-amusement parks. I did one circuit of the broadway, ate a mediocre meal, bought a great book and never went back. I know this makes me sound snobbish, but the restaurants are super touristy (which makes sense in this area) and none of them were my cup of tea. I was very hungry and ate at the Margaritaville which was nearest to the Hampton Inn at the end of the circuit and it was generic food. (There are plenty of souvenirs to be found on the boardwalk so don't buy things in the first shop you see.) Another thing that I appreciated most about this hotel was its location. Gas stations, pharmacies, restaurants, and grocery stores are nearby. Myrtle Beach is a very short drive away. Breakfast is complimentary in the mornings like at most Hampton Inns but I did not partake, preferring to sleep in and eat fruit in my room. I saw the spread on my checkout morning and it looked like the usual (cereals, pastries, waffle maker, etc.) The pool is a nice size and a relaxing place to chill. There is also a patio outside of the eating area that has tables as well as sofas which are also great areas to relax in. And there is plenty of parking close to the hotel with room for larger vehicles like pick up trucks and full-size SUVs. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and location. And if you have young children (elementary school age), they will really enjoy the shops and amusement parks along the broadway. September 30/30 #3

Yelp
We will be adding Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach at Broadway to our favorite hotels list. We asked several people checking in and checking out about the hotel...all good reviews. This place didn't disappoint! Walking distance to Broadway at the Beach. Everyone we encountered on staff were VERY pleasant especially Donna and Jennifer! We stayed in the 1 bedroom Queen Suite for 4d/3n. Very spacious. I think there was a pull out sofa we didn't need it so we didn't try. There was a refrigerator. microwave, and "kitchen sink" area. If you're looking for a big elaborate pool area this is NOT the hotel for your stay. If you're looking for cleanliness, no worries of sand in the shower, or wet smelling rooms...the Hampton Inn by Hilton at Broadway is the hotel for you. The only negative...check your bill at check-out. If you received a special rate at check-in, the rates may fluctuate. Thank you Donna, Jennifer, and the rest of the staff for a GREAT stay. My daughter didn't want to leave and we had to promise we would to come back to the same hotel. I would say Spring Break 2022 was a success...thanks to the relaxing stay!

Meghan V.

Yelp
Hands down the WORST experience I've ever had with a Hilton property. It's very spendy for the quality of this hotel. Everything is old and run down. To top it off they overcharged me and I had to go fight with the front desk about it. Find something else!

Dan R.

Yelp
About $100 bucks a night. The Good Things a) Amazing location right inside Broadway at the Beach. Super easy access from Route 17 and multiple cross roads. b) Free wifi and free parking c) Full breakfast included with your room rate. A huge breakfast, two hot dishes (today was potatoes and omelettes), waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, english muffins, bagels. A cery nice selection. d) Fresh coffee 24/7 in the registrarion lobby. Fresh cookies every afternoon. e) Very nice business center -I had to print some e-mail attachments and everyuthing worked perfectly. f) Indoor pool and outdoor pool. g) Super nice personable staff- especially the front desk crew and the breakfast room attendants. h) Nice comfy room with a huge refrigerator and a work desk. i) Really big TV with a crystal clear picture The Bad Thing Just one - our toilet ran intermittently.

Yelp
Overall, I would definitely book again. Location: You cannot get any closer to Broadway at Myrtle Beach. When you come out of the hotel, you can literally walk to all the shops, restaurants, and activities within 10 yards of the hotel. I would suggest booking a different hotel though if you want to be right on the beach. Still, it's just a 3-4 minute drive to the beach. Room and Hotel: Our room was very clean, nice, and comfortable. The interior of the hotel is very modern and updated. They have an indoor and outdoor pool (smaller compare to other hotels), fitness center, and laundry area. They also serve breakfast each morning which consists of options such as cereal, waffles, oatmeal, breads and muffins, eggs, turkey and regular sausage, package grits, assortment of fruits, juices, coffees, and teas. There is no room service for food. Service: We encountered people at the front desk, servers at breakfast, and room service and everyone was friendly. I did have to request some items from room service, and the two ladies I encountered spoke limited English, so I did have to go the front desk for requests, also because our phone was not working. Parking: Parking is free and readily available outside. During peak hours, you might have to park a little further.

Julie T.

Yelp
Although this place is off the beach and has limited space on a room with balcony. It's price and rooms lived up to the price. This place is right on the broadway so if you have kids or just love to explore the backdoor leads to the amusement park and many restaurants and bars. Which by the way were amazing. It also has an inside pool and outdoor with a hot tub. (9am-12midnight) My favorite was probably how the clean it was and the free breakfast(6am-10am). Breakfast wasn't an average breakfast they heat up and set out for you like most hotels. There was a yogurt/cereal area, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, waffle maker, eggs, and bacon, and sausage, choice of orange juice or apple juice, bagels, pastries, and also fresh fruits.

Terell W.

Yelp
The Hampton inn at Broadway on the beach is great location for visiting the boardwalk. You able to spend as much as you would like and walk back to you hotel.

Tim B.

Yelp
This hotel is becoming run down, dirty and very noisy due to major construction next door. The rooms are lightly maintained with dirt/hair on the floor and mold growing on the shower walls. Beds are uncomfortable but bearable

Victoria T.

Yelp
5 stars for spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort! We've stayed in enough crappy hotels to know that this was well worth the money. Large rooms giving you enough space to move around, store your luggage and enjoy the room for relaxing. All hotels should have an extra blanket in the closet and this one sure did. WiFi was tricky to access but just edit your settings and it should work. Views of Broadway at the Beach were fab! Great breakfast and nice hot tub. I've been so tense and that helped immensely! Thanks, will stay again. Oh...and just go walk out back for some fun nightlife and food! Great place.

Courtney C.

Yelp
Great spot, walking distance from some great stuff - especially the grumpy monk! Clean rooms and nice staff. free plentiful parking , would stay again

Kimio R.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED this hotel!! Perfect location, nestled between north & south Myrtle Beach (I call it mid-Myrtle Beach). Clean, friendly & professional staff, plenty of parking, 2 pools (indoor & outdoor), fitness center, 1/2 mile to the beach. The hotel is very scenic and overlooks the lake & an amusement park. Plenty of restaurants & shops, and even a movie theater. Great to just stroll or take long walks. We felt like we were at a resort & you never have to leave the property unless you're going to the beach, which is only a 5 minute drive with plenty of public parking. This is the only place we will stay at Myrtle Beach! Loved it so much, we're thinking of coming back every other weekend this summer!!

Bridget G.

Yelp
If you're staying in Myrtle Beach, this is THE best place to stay. I sincerely spent days researching in order to find the best hotel and this one has it all: amazing accommodations, friendly staff, a phenomenal location, and reasonable pricing. Let me start with the accommodations. This hotel has daily free breakfasts, a hot tub, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and work out areas. For me, when I'm going on vacation, a hot tub is a MUST! The accommodations were all well-kept. Everything was clean and the breakfast was pretty decent for a free hotel breakfast! Let me move onto the staff. The staff at this hotel was genuinely nice and greeted us each time they saw us. Even the staff members working on the breakfast line were chipper at 7 am! Much more than I can say for myself! Our room was serviced each day as well. There also is a laundry service that I noticed but didn't utilize. What really attracted me was the location, though. Being located right in the middle of all of the action is important for a fun vacation! Broadway at the beach has so much to do - from nice restaurants to the fair to multiple places to shop! This hotel is located right next to Margaritaville which is a win in my book!!! Lastly, the price is absolutely right. My boyfriend and I wanted a nice, romantic, private time so we opted for a king sized room with a whirlpool tub and balcony. For the quality of the accommodations in and out of the room, the price was unbeatable. Our in room whirlpool hot tub was amazing, our balcony view overlooking broadway at the beach was spectacular, and our room was serviced each day. If I am ever in the area again (and I plan to be!) I will not be staying anywhere else!

Yelp
Good location. Great staff. We booked two rooms. Robbin and Shannon are the best- had our rooms next to each other which was very convenient. Checked in early but no rooms were available yet so we just walked around Broadway at the Beach until the rooms were ready. The rooms were nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Modern chic breakfast area. Good breakfast options.

Yelp
I love this place and did not want to leave. Perfect location for visiting. You will not need a vehicle staying here, you have everything from restaurants, activities, to wifi at your reach. This location is approximately 1 mile from the beach, I walked there everyday morning for sunrise during visit. The beach is not a Florida beach and very cloudy waters. I was still able to enjoy the walk, fisherman who caught a shark during my visit and great discounted shops with lots of goodies to purchsse. Lots of funnel cakes as well. The pier and the boardwalk was nice. Lots of construction taking place (renovation) to many of the hotels in the area which sit directly on the beach. Note: Taxi drivers are not allowed on the road where the beachside is located. They will not pick up there and they are not visible. However, they will pick up on the next street over.

Yelp
Back again a year later at my son's request. We stayed last year when we were visiting colleges. The hotel is in a perfect location (10 minutes to the airport, 10 minutes to the beach, 20 minutes to CCU). Every staff member we interacted with with was pleasant, helpful, and made us feel welcome. We got great advice from the folks at the desk on the best routes, parking, etc for our explorations. The hotel is spotless, the pool is clean and pleasant and everything Broadway at the Beach has to offer is at your doorstep. My only issue with the property is the lack of drawer space since the remodel. The two desk/table layout made it necessary to either work out of a suitcase for several days or just pile some of our clothing on one of the tables. I was also not a fan of the small wire baskets. Not sure how they were intended to be used. So, overall, a great stay and we would stay here again and recommend the property. But please powers that be at Hampton Inn, give us a place to conveniently store our things for a multi-day stay.

Yelp
This was our 3rd family trip to Myrtle Beach and there's absolutely no other hotel we'd consider lodging other than this location. Hotel is immaculately kept, staff is courteous & friendly, and amenities are plenty. Breakfast is also tasty & fresh. The hotel's location at Broadway at the Beach is perfectly nestled in the center of all the excitement!! Fun & relaxing with most everything from shops to restaurants within walking distance. Last but certainly not least by any means, the hotel's General Manager Michael Petrosino is a complete gem! He always wore a smile as he walked around the property greeting guests. We noticed him assisting with breakfast, assisting guests with their bags, and he even recommended a few restaurants to our family. Mr. Petrosino is not only down to earth and helpful; he's also integral and a true asset to the Hilton brand. We will definitely return.

Yelp
Wow, what can I say? After spending two days prior in a horrible hotel, I finally thought, "I should check YELP!" My oh my, I learn the hard way. I consulted YELP reviews for personal opinions and I saw this hotel. I called and booked it soley on what other yelpers said and I was not disappointed. We booked it and showed up the next morning. We were in heaven. The hotel lobby staff were smiling and accommodating and happy! We were welcomed and our room was ready when we got there. We were on the 7th floor in room 706. It was clean, comfortable, and the lake view was awesome. We didn't know how awesome until the sun went down and we got a view of it from our window. We were just above the outdoor pool. The TV was large and everything worked (The remote, the sound and the picture quality were great). After our first two days in a cockroach hotel I was looking for something wrong with this place and just as expected it was a stark contrast to what we had experienced the two days prior. We left to find a store to buy a new swimsuit and there were plenty within just a mile or some from the hotel. IT was so close to the beach! We did have a little trouble finding a place to park. There were some smaller parking areas in between some of the hotels there so we parked and had to pay for parking through a meter. The meters do not have credit card slots so we had to call a phone number on the meter and give them our parking spot. That was a little strange but it ended up working out fine. Then, there was no where on the beach to use the restroom or change. We ended up going in to the hotel lobby of one of the hotels and there was a dressing room/shower area (very nice shower area to boot) where we got to change and take a hot shower. There was no sign saying "hotel guests only" so we utilized it both before and after we left the beach. It was so nice! Anyway, then we left and went to eat at a seafood place called Joe's Crab Shack. You can also read my review on that place. Then we went to walk on the boardwalk. There were tons of shops and boardwalks with lots of places to stop and see the lake. People were milling around and the sun was going down. We could look over at the end of the lake to see our hotel and our room on the 7th floor of this hotel. It was such a pleasant place to walk around. We ended the night in the hot tub and indoor pool of this hotel. My daughter was running on the treadmill in the classy work out room. I think if I had to describe it, I'd say comfort in the aim of this hotel. It was beautiful, comfortable and well thought out. In the lobby there is a huge aquarium and it borders the breakfast room with indoor and outdoor seating. It's a place I could go during the day and sit out on the upper deck of the outdoor seating area and just work on my computer or watch the view. It was so peaceful. None of us wanted to leave. The breakfast in the morning was out of this world. I put our laundry in on the first floor and then sat in the breakfast area with my family waiting for it to get done. Even the staff would smile and come by and ask how your day was. So courteous. The ONLY issue I had, and it was small, was that the lady at the front desk called everyone "honey". I personally don't like that. I think it's disrespectful to say that to everyone that you meet, young and old. It has a sense of condescension to it. Although I know that was likely not the intention, I do not count this against this hotel. The laundry facility was spotless and the cleaning staff were visible throughout. It was just a really nice place to visit. My teenagers and my husband all agree that we will be back to this same hotel. Thank you YELPERS for writing awesome, truthful reviews. I know you will simply love this hotel just as I did. Visit them when you come to Myrtle Beach. Great price, too!

Yelp
Definitely one of the best Hampton Inns! It was the cleanest! Smelled so fresh! It's at least 15 years old but was in better shape than some newer ones I've stayed in. Kudos to the hotel manager and especially to housekeeping! Definitely will come back!

Yelp
I stay at a lot of hotels for business travel, so I stayed here using reward points and this Hampton Inn delivers a great facility and great rooms. If your looking for a great central local for both fun and close to the beaches stay here. Room was great, fresh and clean!

Yelp
AMAZING location!!! RIGHT on the boardwalk- so much to do... drink, eat, amusement park, Escape the Room, Mirror Maze, aquarium, shopping..everything! Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Had a very UNPLEASANT experience with CANAM Cheer association and the hotel allowed us to use their ballroom for FREE to practice and fix our routine. Rooms were clean, free breakfast was DELICIOUS, service was excellent and friendly!

Yelp
Loved this hotel!!! We came for a night before driving down to Florida the next day and were pleasantly surprised to see this hotel and everything it was around. We originally had a standard room for the night, but once we let them know it was our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suite and it was WONDERFUL. Huge room with a wrap around couch, a balcony overlooking the pool, the lagoon and all of the attractions at the Broadway at the beach area. The bathroom was a good size, with a big and clean jacuzzi tub. The area was also great, because you could easily walk out of the hotel right to the Broadway on the beach attractions. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
I travel for business a fair amount and I try to stay at Hilton brand hotels whenever I can to get points. I prefer the Hilton Garden Inn to the Hampton, but this place has some good things to it: -Located right on Broadway at the Beach, so there's plenty to do. -Breakfast included -Nice indoor and outdoor swimming pool -Good size rooms. -Good service from front desk The only downside is that there isn't any room service, so if you are one to order in, it's not ideal staying here, but you can always order pizza or Chinese food from another restaurant that will deliver to your room. Overall, would stay here again.

Yelp
Stayed here not too long ago for an extended stay (about 6 days) and I wasn't disappointed. There are a few pros and cons: Pro: -It's located at Broadway at the Beach, so you have everything right there as far as touristy stuff. Margaritaville, Ripley's Aquarium, Boardwalk games, Hard Rock, etc. There's even a target within 20min walking distance. -There are microwaves and a minifridge in every room -WiFi -Breakfast... OMG, real breakfast in the morning! No continental breakfast! -Staff was upbeat and friendly. Helpful, of course. -They have homemade cookies at the front desk =) Con: -They are remodeling, but even with the updates, you can still it's an old hotel. -Room decor is not so great. -Beach is a about a 25 min walk I'd say If I ever go back to Myrtle Beach (which I doubt, but you never know) then I'll probably stay here because of the familiarity and it's location at Broadway at the Beach. If I could give half stars I would as I would say 3.5/5... but lucky Hampton Inn I can't, so lucky you, a 4 it is!

Yelp
Very clean rooms. A little pricey for out of season. The pool area is very nice, coffee bar and more. My biggest qualm was the hot water does not get very hot. One of the cleanest rooms in Myrtle I have ever stayed at. Having Broadway at the Beach out the front door is great!!!!

Yelp
My wife and I had a great experience here ! Theresa was so sweet and kind to us ! Also the GM was there when we were checking out, he seemed very interested in our stay and wanted to make sure we had the best experience possible ! I'll only stay here when we come to town, very impressed !!! Thank you !

Yelp
This was probably the best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at. The staff was very kind. They had free cookies, coffee, tea and hot chocolate all the time. There is an indoor and outdoor pool. The hot tub is also indoor. Everything was very clean. The breakfast attendants were some of the best I have ever seen. Breakfast was great! They had different selections every day. We definitely never went hungry. The location is amazing, right next to Margaritaville. It's nice because you can walk over to all of the happy hours, then walk right back home for the evening. I will absolutely be returning.

Yelp
The Good: Clean Rooms & Hotel Areas. Walking distance from Aquarium & Shops. Exceptionally friendly service. Indoor pool/hot tub open until midnight. Free in room internet. The Bad: Only an Average continental breakfast. Scrambled eggs were almost too salty to eat. Only had one waffle maker & toaster meaning long wait times when it is busy. Sub-par maid quality. Maid did not replenish the sugar or other condiments for the coffee. Had to go to the front desk to get the sugar and the stirrers to make coffee The Ugly: Terribly uncomfortable pillows. Had a difficult time sleeping from the very uncomfortable pillows.

Yelp
Excellent hotel! Staff if courteous, helpful, & extremely friendly. The room was clean, comfortable & very 'high end' for such an affordable price. Wi-Fi is fairly fast & reliable & the breakfast each morning is piping hot & fresh. It's location at Broadway on the Beach makes it close to MANY amenities & restaurants. No, it is not beachside with an ocean view, but I left one during my stay this week because that hotel was ATROCIOUS! If I'm ever back this way again, THIS is my first hotel of choice.
