Hamptons City Beach

The restaurant has lovely ocean views. This place used to feel like a high-class restaurant but it’s not quite as special anymore. The food was decent and nicely presented, though my potatoes were a little cold and the fish was salty. The wine glasses could have been cleaner, and the staff seemed a bit tired. Overall, an average experience with room for improvement.

Great views even on a cold, rainy day. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our lunchtime visit. We didn’t have a reservation and even though it was busy got an excellent table with lovely sea views. Had one main and two sides which were very good sized portions. Really enjoyed the visit with well seasoned, fresh and tasty food.

Wine, ocean views, and a refined yet relaxed atmosphere make for a memorable evening.

Booked over the phone for a table of 2 with a pram. We arrived with “twin babies” hence the staff at the reception quickly managed to get us a bigger table that’s located more comfortably for us. Great service from the start until we left, spent almost 3 hours there. We enjoyed our time and we’ll be coming back! Unfortunately had to drop a ⭐️ as my wife was a bit disappointed with the “parents room” as there were bugs, insects and spiders 🕷️ near the changing table hence she didn’t feel safe to change the babies nappies. We didn’t have a chance to bring this to the management attention but hopefully they’ll read this review. Overall fantastic service, good food and nice vibes. We’ll be back.

We had a late lunch, got there around 1.30pm without bookings but managed to get last table outside. Bring your warm clothes, it was cold!🥶 Food was nice, barramundi and pork belly and chips. The pork belly was a good size!!! The service was good, she was busy but very attentive. Environment was nice , beautiful view. Needs booking if you want to make sure you have a table .

The location is unbeatable — right on the beach with stunning ocean views, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed yet stylish, perfect for a long lunch or dinner by the water. The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. My dessert (panna cotta with fairy floss and fruit compote) was creative and delicious — definitely a highlight. Service was friendly overall, though it could have been a little more attentive at times, which is why I’ve rated it four stars instead of five. Overall, Hamptons is a great choice for a coastal dining experience in City Beach. I’d happily come back, especially for a special occasion or to treat visitors to Perth. Expect to spend around $40–$60 per person.

I visited Hamptons City Beach with my colleagues at lunch. Fortunately I could have the seat on the outside terrace. Scenery of Indian ocean and white sand beach is awesome. I ate the meet of kangaroo, with medium rare with most satisfaction. Friendly staffs are driving me visit here again.
