"About a two-hour drive
For many, the Hamptons conjure visions of Upper East Siders summering in their mansions, and flitting between high society parties. A weekend is the perfect stretch of time to slip into that whirlwind before letting the city ground you once again. Classic to-dos like visiting the Pollock-Krasner house in East Hampton (open May to October), designer shopping in the villages, and waterfront dining are always a good idea, as are summery outdoor activities. Pedal around the Atlantic Avenue Beach area with a bike rental from Amagansett Beach & Bicycle Company, savor a hefty lobster roll at the Dock House in Sag Harbor, or find inner peace in bird-filled Hither Hills State Park. A classic East Hampton stay, the Maidstone Hotel is the perfect place to post up (if you don't have an invite to one of the aforementioned mansions, that is)." - Alex Erdekian, Hannah Towey
I loved this place! Very cute and homey. Dog friendly with a fee. We stayed in cottage 4 and the enclosed porch was a super cute addition. The amenities are cute it was unfortunately too chilly to use the pool this weekend but hopefully next time we can utilize it. No complaints with the service. It's literally like renting an apartment.. it was a cool set up.

😊: Cleanliness, heated pool, friendly, helpful staff.
😢: Noise from sprinklers was intrusive. Kettle didn't work v well and WiFi a bit temperamental.

Small, very cozy cottage that felt like home. Location was great with the nature surrounding you, a grocery store right across the street, gas station right up the road, & a little downtown area with great food not too far up the way! It was perfect for a weekend getaway, will definitely make this an annual vacation stay!

My stay at Hamptons Vacation Bay was very pleasant and peaceful. The location is in a great area with plenty of things nearby, and it’s only about 15–20 minutes from the beach and other activities. The staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The property had lots of outside space, which was perfect for spending time with family and friends. For the price we paid, the value was incredible considering everything we got. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

Booked this for a weekend girls trip and could not have been happier with our choice! The rooms were spacious and clean, and the amenities such as pool and picnic tables were amazing. The staff was incredibly helpful and helped to accommodate an early check-in. We traveled without a car and the Jitney conveniently stopped right across the street! There is also a grocery store across the street.
