We enjoyed our night at the Hana Inn! Sitting on the lanai, watching and hearing the waves after a long day exploring the Road to Hana was wonderful. We had room 7 and it was great for our group of 5 for a night. We were able to visit some of the sites past Hana with little to no other people there the following morning. Check in was simple and there was a community kitchen which was great for heating up food we had picked up.

We are a large family and needed multiple rooms to fit everyone. Hāna Inn was perfect! It was a welcome retreat after an adventurous day on the Road to Hāna. Check-in was simple, as we already had a code to our rooms, however our friendly host greeted us and showed us our rooms. The rooms were simple, but clean and had everything we needed. There is no AC, but there were multiple fans throughout the room bedroom and sitting area and as someone who likes it cold at night, I slept comfortably. There was delicious coffee in the community kitchen. We met some great people in the morning, whom we saw again hiking later in the day. I was not sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly impressed with our stay. I certainly recommend the Hāna Inn.

This small inn was a wonderful place to spend a night during our recent family road trip to Hana. We had a larger room upstairs, Room 7, and enjoyed the massive deck. We really appreciated the mini fridge in the room with cold, filtered water. There was fresh local fruit provided by the hosts downstairs and a common kitchen and dining room for all the guests to enjoy. The location was excellent too.

After a day of hiking and driving the Road to Hana, this was the perfect stay for us. Small, romantic room with our own bathroom/shower. Room was clean, orderly and the bed comfortable. After arriving and cleaning up from the road, we sat on the front porch enjoying the evening mist fall, sharing conversation with one of the hosts. Our room had a small, but nice, view of the ocean front and saw a beautiful sunrise in the morning. Everything about this stay was perfect. Love the quaint atmosphere of the hotel and surrounding neighborhood. This is not the stay for someone who wants something along the line of Ritz or even a Hyattt Regency, but we found it absolutely lovely.

A True Gem! The Hāna Inn was one of the highlights of our Maui trip. Tucked in a peaceful, lush setting just a short walk from the beach, it’s the perfect place to unwind after the long, winding journey on the Road to Hāna. What truly made the stay unforgettable were the hosts, Gabby and Poe — incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. From helpful local tips to warm hospitality, they went above and beyond. The Hāna Inn is simple, authentic, and full of heart. I’d return in a heartbeat.

This was a perfect place for our family to stay. Quiet lowkey neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the sound of the ocean right outside, the shared kitchen, the outdoor balcony/seating and very powerful fans to keep us cool (thank you for having more than one in the room). Great directions/instructions and handy close parking. Host was ready to welcome us as we pulled in. Having the filtered water spout and pitcher was an awesome feature. Oatmeal and Tea for breakfast. Thank you for allowing us a place to stay on a budget. Until next time!

This is a lovely place to stay in Hana! It’s conveniently located near must-visit spots along the Road to Hana, and several top-rated food trucks are just minutes away. The rooms were clean, and having access to a shared kitchen was a really nice bonus.

Great central location in Hana. Quiet neighborhood. Appreciated the accommodation for a personal health request. The room was clean and the small touches were nice like the Brita filter pitcher in the mini fridge. I liked the fully equipped communal kitchen downstairs. This was the perfect place to stay a night in Hana to break up the drive and avoid crowds. We were looking for a reasonable but decent place to stay one night and this was just the place. Staff friendly and helpful.
