I wasn't necessarily expecting to have sushi in Greece but I'm glad I did. This was some very tasty sushi! Interesting and inventive rolls, very fresh and flavorful fish. It was also the most expensive meal we had on our trip - their pricing is quite high relative to other spots in this area. That said we were still happy with the quality of the food and felt like it was worth the money!

The service was great and the setting is beautiful, but the sushi is below average and crazy expensive. The rolls are between €22-25 each, over the double the price of most sushi places in London, and nowhere near as good. If you appreciate good sushi, do not come here.

Incredible flavors! Some of the best sushi I've ever had. Amazing flavor combinations, sauces and selections. Ordered several rolls, bao buns, miso soup and desert. Great service, vibe and seating by the water to top it off. Def on the pricey side but worth it for a more expensive night out.

Authentic, local food in Japanese style. Really worth a visit. Can recommend everything on the card. Vegetarians get a separate card, also vegan dishes. Team welcomes you warmly and is very friendly. Try everything to give you a table.
Wonderful place in Pollonia, next to the sea.
Even if it‘s not „greek“, they use local fish and sea food. Try it!

Nestled in the charming village of Pollonia, Milos, Greece, Hanabi Sushi is a culinary gem that beckons with its tantalizing menu and breathtaking outdoor seating area. From the moment you arrive, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of serene beauty, where the sea provides the perfect backdrop for a dining experience unlike any other.
The service at Hanabi Sushi is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we were seated until the last bite of dessert, we were attended to with grace and attentiveness. What truly stood out was the genuine care and attention to detail; our waiter never once pushed us towards the most expensive items on the menu, allowing us to explore and savor the diverse offerings at our own pace—an admirable quality that ensured a truly personalized dining experience.
And what an experience it was! The culinary delights that graced our table left us speechless. From the perfectly seasoned edamame to the melt-in-your-mouth salmon tartare and the flavorful chicken dumplings, each starter set the stage for a culinary journey unlike any other.
The main courses were equally impressive, showcasing the skill and creativity of the chefs at Hanabi Sushi. From the succulent hoisin duck noodles to the fresh and flavorful salmon avocado roll and the indulgent futo-tuna fry roll, each dish was a symphony of flavors and textures that left us craving more.
But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the off-menu tableside cooked ribeye—a true feast for the senses that left us speechless. And as if that wasn't enough, the yuzu lime tart and the off-menu chocolate truffle filled with mango sorbet, accompanied by a tableside amaretto flambé, provided the perfect ending to a culinary extravaganza.
After 15 days of exploring Greece, Hanabi Sushi left an indelible impression on us—one that will linger in our memories for years to come. From the stunning outdoor seating area to the outstanding food and impeccable service, this restaurant is a true oasis for discerning diners.
In conclusion, Hanabi Sushi comes highly recommended for anyone seeking a culinary experience that transcends expectations. Whether you're a sushi aficionado or simply looking to indulge in the finest flavors Milos has to offer, Hanabi Sushi promises an unforgettable journey for the palate and the soul.

This is a hidden underrated gem. I would normally not consider a 4.1 star rating on Google reviews, but I just happened to walk past Hanabi after a boat cruise. First of all the setting and view is next level; hovering over the water right on Pollonia Beach. Secondly, I turned to the cocktail menu and between 2pm-7:30pm is happy hour: €7.50 cocktails! They are better than the last 20 cocktails I’ve had in Greece at €19+.. unbelievable value. Thirdly, the food was excellent quality, fresh and presentation. Do not underestimate how good it is - you will 100% be impressed by this. Lastly, the service was so lovely, attentive and personal. Magda just topped off the whole lunch.
Just go here, sure it might not be a bargain but you’re on holiday, it isn’t expensive, but if you want to go for an amazing lunch experience, go to Hanabi.

Had a lovely lunch here. Great location, service was really good and very tasty food. More to the pricier side but really good quality. Plenty of vegan, gluten- and dairyfree options.
Room for improvement would be a gluten-free soy sauce.
