Hanabi Seaside Sushi delivers on stunning views and beautifully fresh food, but brace yourself, because the bill stings harder than a wasabi hit.
If you’re chasing sushi with a view, this spot nails it. Set right on the water, it’s peaceful, scenic, and feels every bit the seaside indulgence you’d hope for.
Food (4.5/5):
We ordered bao buns, Fire Dragon Rolls, and California Rolls… all beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavour. Everything tasted premium and clean, exactly what you want from good sushi.
Service (4/5):
Staff were friendly and attentive, and the pace of service matched the calm, relaxed atmosphere.
Atmosphere (5/5):
Couldn’t ask for a better setting, right on the water, quiet, and serene. Perfect for a slow, scenic meal.
Value (2/5):
Here’s where things fall over. The quality was great, but the pricing was outrageous: €80 (about $150 AUD) for what would cost about $25-30 back home in Australia. It’s a classic island markup, and while you do pay for the view, it’s still a stretch.
Overall:
A lovely dining experience with great sushi, warm service, and unbeatable views, but the price is sky high. Worth it for the setting if you’re treating yourself, but not if you’re counting euros.
Rating: 4/5 ⭐️
Fresh food and gorgeous views… just know you’re paying premium for both.
