Shikoku Island Is Hiding Some of Japan's Best Hot Springs
"A modern 35-room ryokan located by the Seto Inland Sea, featuring panoramic views of the ocean and city skyline. The large open-air public baths offer a blend of contemporary and traditional Japanese designs." - Travel + Leisure Editors
Its location is convenient. It’s not far from the JR station but you can enjoy beautiful sea views and hot spring.
Shuttle bus service is offered but you need to reserve seats in advance.
My room was equipped with a private onsen. The room was spacious and clean. Free drinks like coffee and orange juice were provided in the lobby.
My husband can’t eat fish so they deliberately arranged another menu for him.

Expertly perched on the mountain above Takamatsu. our room had a private bath with a view of the city. Make sure to order dinner and breakfast with your room, it is a wonderful experience. The public Onsen is not busy and roof top views are amazing. The manager greeted us upon arrival, every one is friendly and helpful. Would love to stay longer or come back again.

We first came here in 2016 and revisited last time. Some parts of the hotel are obviously tired and worn out, e.g. some lift buttons and the stairs. We stayed for 2 nights. The western style room had some sewage smell which was unpleasant, not very strong but wouldn't expect that in hotels of this standard. The Japanese style room was perfect. The staff were the best, professional and friendly. The dinner menu has Western, modernised elements and is superb. We will come again next time in Takamatsu - but look forward to some renovation work being done...

The room is extra big than most Japanese hotels I lived in.
The food makes me very happy, I even had two tub in my room.
I liked it so much, me and my kid had a great time here.
Extra large bed is another on of my favorite point here.
Generally speaking I would like to come here as a second time.

Onsen is perfect, view of roof guest room is excellent, the room is nice and neat. Although 10am is a bit earlier for check out, overall is worth to stay. By the way, in room onsen cannot be turnoff, it’s a bit annoying while sleeping.

Never in my life, experienced such a kindness at hotel.
All the staffs are very much experienced and trained.
The location is the top in Takamatsu and rooms look not new but very comfortable.
Reception showed the best what we can expect from best Japanese Hotels.
Foods were also perfect and professionally served.
Will be there again.
Special thanks to Mr. Ogita and staffs

Lots of free parking lots. The staff serves with care and friendly. Some of them can speak fluent English. We booked a Japanese room with private Onsen. The view was great and the dinner provided has a high quality. Highly recommend.

The hotel has a great view of the city at the lobby on 8/F with foot hot spring on a big balcony overseeing the city, free coffee tea and juice. ||The rooms are spacious (I stayed in room 401 which is a small number of rooms that offer single occupancy at the hotel, with indoor hot spring communal bath.||Special mention goes to the Hotel Manager Mr. Kozai Manabu. He is fluent in English and very kind and go the extra mile to make sure that my stay at the hotel was as comfortable as possible.||He helped with arranging transport, our group had issue with too many large luggage during peak season and all jumbo taxis weren’t available. He offered to arrange multiple taxis instead with one designated to carry most of the luggage to ensure seamless transport to the airport.||When I asked to book an English tour guide for a tour of Ritsurin garden, he arranged an English speaking tour guide to come to the hotel the evening before to discuss the details and price of the tour and pick up arrangements.||The hotel may have a few wrinkles but overall it’s maintained very well.
