A great stop to look at! With limited parking space you find those falls close to the street. There is just a little hiking required to approach the falls. You can also take a bath and enjoy a refreshment. Definitely worth a visit.

The winding and twisty one lane road was pretty wild for 20 miles, but worth the drive.

This was my favorite stop on the Road to Hana. Technically, we stopped here on the way back from Hana in the morning (after staying the night in Hana) so it was completely empty. The water was cold, but tolerable. Access to the waterfall is on the right side of the bridge, down a semi-steep path. Parking is definitely a bit tricky, as there are no designated stopping points. Still, it is absolutely worth a visit!

This waterfall was worth the quick stop. Right as you pass the bridge there is a small little area to park. Watch out for fire ants when you’re hiking down to the falls, we noticed we were putting our hands right where the fire ants were.

Beautiful waterfalls. The best location to watch them is Hanawi falls bridge (built on 1926). It's on the right side of the road.

Gorgeous!!! We stopped here on the road to Hana and had to stop again on the way back because it's so beautiful. We didn't know about all the cool things back behind the big falls until my hubby went exploring back there. Sadly, I he didn't have his phone or go pro with him to capture all the cool things he reported. If you go and are prepared, there are pools you can see from the road but more behind them. This is one of the first places we'll visit if we can come back to Maui!!

Awesome twilight photo. There’s a small pull Off across the street past the bridge. Look for guavas that just fell off the tree on opposite side and roll toward cars. They are delish!
