My husband recently visited Frankfurt on a business trip and purchased me a cuckoo clock. I've always wanted one, but I've never had the opportunity to buy a real one until now. He said the lady who helped him was nice and showed him all the ones I wanted to see as we were on FaceTime, and there were so many to choose from. I decided on a dark wood colored one with a simple cuckoo and detailed bird design. The store shipped it from Frankfurt to Virginia, and it took about 2 weeks. Once it arrived, we put it right up, and it's beautiful. We opted for a normal clock instead of a battery-operated one, so we have to reset it every 24 hours by pulling two strings, but it is no trouble. The pinecone weights are really heavy and detailed. I am so happy with it.

You will probably desire to buy the whole store, or at least on item from each section! They are priced fair and the quality is admirable. I want to thank the nice young lady who helped us with shopping and answered all of our questions. Don’t miss the chance to buy one of the mechanical clocks!

Wonderful place if you are the area shopping for clocks and German souvenir items. Prices for clocks range from $40 to $2300. Also, there are plenty of nutcrackers to choose from. Staff was very helpful, spoke perfect English, and even offered to explain export and shipping costs and expenses. If you are shipping overseas, staff is more than accamadating to assist with all forms to exclude tax or assist with the shipping documents.

I went to this store as per google recommendation. It's easily reachable by public transport. The staff are very helpful and professional. The store has a good vibe with quality and artistic products. I brought it home all the way to Mumbai, India. It's a perfect fit for my home and works perfectly.

Ventured into this shop today to look at cuckoo clocks. The shop keepers were so helpful and took the time to not only explain how the clocks work but also to show the different styles. Offered a number of options to take them back abroad (take now/ship/ship with weights removed so it’s less etc) and even rebated the tax since I was shipping to Canada. Would 100% recommend to anyone who is visiting the city and wants to take home a beautiful piece of German culture and history.

Beautiful German craftsmanship. Huge assortment of handmade wooden souvenirs. Christmas ornaments, smokers, Bier Steins, Christmas pyramids, nutcrackers if all sizes and cuckoo clocks.

After hearing several positive recommendations from different colleagues of mine, I decided to visit this shop during my business trip in Frankfurt. The staff greeted me friendly, when I came in and a huge variation of different small souvenirs like magnets, keychains, steins and snowballs awaited me. I decided to get a couple of magnets for my friends and family in the States, when me sight fell on the biggest collection of original German nutcrackers, I've seen in my entire life!! They had nutcrackers in all different sizes and colors. The staff was very well informed and told me the origin of nutcrackers and the history behind their crafting. I decided on a huge red-golden "King" (similar to the one in Tschaikowsky's play), when I remembered, that I had to carry it by plane... Luckily the staff informed me, that they offer to ship worldwide. I took the offer gladly and looked around in the fascinating shop a bit more. The wall next to the nutcrackers was full of beautiful cuckoo clocks (which I grew up with). All hand-made in the Black forest, like the staff told me. The young lady showed me the clocks in action and explained the mechanism of the clocks. I was also informed, that they also had battery operating cuckoo clocks, but I was sure to get a mechanical one like my grandparents once had. Once I picked a medium size clock the staff member let me know, that they had a new clock in stock. The other member of staff brought the new clock, opened the box and showed me how to set the clock up. Furthermore, they put in a list of different repair stations in the US. I went upstairs, where they had wonderful pyramids, also a childhood memory of mine. I just couldn't resist and after a few minutes I called the pyramid mine. All in all the service was very friendly and obliging and the products of good quality! I'll make sure to return with my family some time. UPDATE: My cat broke some of the pyramid wings. After some mails with the shop owner I received a new set. Again very good service!!

This was by far the nicest souvenir shop I saw during my time in Frankfurt. I visited it two nights in a row. The first night I arrived only shortly before it closed and yet the saleswoman let me walk around and answered my questions. The next night I came back to buy two small cuckoo clocks for my kids and another saleswoman (Laura) kept the shop open for more than 30 minutes for another family and myself while we were making purchases. She was knowledgeable about shipping fees to the States and showed me the boxes they came in so that I could determine if they would fit into my suitcases. I ultimately decided to transport them back myself, and she took the time to make sure they were secure and bubble wrapped in their boxes. She then took time to find a nice bag holder to make it easier for me to carry the boxes out of the store. They both spoke perfectly English and were very kind. I would’ve bought a lot more if I could’ve transported it all. If I’m ever back in Frankfurt I will definitely be coming back to buy more. Thank you!
