Tonight we tried hangar 36 restaurant in airport Plaza Hazlet, the food was amazing. The new menu has a lot to pick from staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are very good. We had a great meal big portions . We brought leftovers home. Can’t wait to try the new breakfast items as well. The dining room and decor was a nice touch . You won’t be disappointed going here just what we needed in the area.

This is our new and favorite "go to" restaurant for comfort food. Everything we've tried in our multiple visits has been delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The prices are more than fair, the food arrives in a very timely fashion, and the service is exemplary.

The corned beef hash was very good. The portion is a good size. Eggs over easy were prefect. Hash browns lack any flavor. Very clean and prompt service. There are specials.

What a great experience at hanger 36. The menu is great lots of new items. The food is wonderful. I try a different dish every time I go and I am not disappointed.The atmosphere is great. Feels like home. The service is very good. I have no complaints with that. The manager is very personable, he really knows how to run a perfect place to eat.

Hangar 36 absolutely soars above the rest! From the moment we walked in, the soon-to-be aviation theme pulled us in, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is a perfect mix of laid-back and lively. The menu? First-class all the way. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. I had the “Cloud Nine” corn waffles with cinnamon butter — off the menu — JUST ASK! 10/10 would recommend! Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Hangar 36 is the kind of place that’ll hit the spot every time.

My husband and I eat at Hangar 36 often and highly recommend it to family and friends. We have eaten there alone as well as with groups and have never been disappointed. First off you get a good cup of coffee and you can’t do a good breakfast if the coffee isn’t good. The food is consistently tasty and delicious. The menu is plentiful, and there are always specials. The management and staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. The newly decorated interior is amazing. It’s both comfortable and welcoming, and brings back the history of the area. Hangar 36 is a family friendly restaurant and while you’re there you feel like family.

My grandchildren slept over and they did not want to go out for breakfast, so we ordered the new “Family Feast” breakfast option from Hanger 36 and my husband went and picked it up. It was such a good value for the money! There was plenty of food for 6 people and it was delicious! We chose the waffle option and they were a hit. It came with breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. The packaging was perfect for family style serving. It was nice to eat home in our pj’s and have someone else prepare the meal. I highly recommend the “Family Feast” breakfast meals from Hanger 36. We will be ordering from them again!

Wonderful food and decor. Love everything they've done since transitioning from Perkins. Amazing food and flavor profiles. I would expect similar from high-end restaurants. I am a foodie and am impressed by the new dishes. I wish them and their management, especially Mike, all the best on their new endeavor.

What a great new place! This spot is in the same location as the Perkins used to be. I have been going to Perkins for many years and was very interested to see what the owners did with this new business, I was not disappointed. My first time visiting was on a Sunday morning on Father's Day. The menu was large with very reasonable prices. I saw some old favorites from the Perkins but revamped to their new style. The potato flip was my favorite and with the new Hanger 36 menu they added a perfectly cut up steak bites. The steak had a lot of flavor and was cooked perfectly. My son loved the shredded potato hash browns. With the breakfast items you still have the choice of the shredded potatoes or the cubes of potatoes as your "hash brown" side. We also tried the pancakes and they were perfectly done. The restaurant was packed and with any place that fills up with that many people it did get a little loud, but not too bad that I couldn't hear my family at the table. Staff was great and this place is managed well. I will certainly be back to try more of their items.

Food and service very good. They have gluten free options as well. It's always busy so arrive early to put your name in. They are very organized though. The decor is pretty cool! The only complaint I have is that they forgot the cheese on my sliders.

Couldn't wait to try it. Drove over an hour to get there. So worth the drive. The place is nice and bright. The staff exceptional. And the food!! Spectacular. My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. He loved it. I had the grilled salmon with mustard Demi glaze. OMG! So good. Can't wait to go back and try their breakfast. I highly recommend it. I hope they never change and their quality doesn't go down due to downsizings.
