Very Chill eatery that’s a BYOB. Went to dinner this Saturday night not expecting much but was blown away, with everything EXCEEDING my expectations. Food-Generous portions priced for extreme value! Service-Impeccable from the servers to the owner who was friendly and engaging wanting to make sure you order was to your liking. Atmosphere-Airplane themed! Airport plaza was once a real working airport. I had the Turkey dinner but it was a challenge decision since Prime Rib was on the specials menus! Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served all day. The Monday/Tuesday special 2 for $40 seems like a misprint! A must to check out ! I will definitely be back multiple times to this restaurant Go here!!!!!!

This place is very impressive. From the ambiance, decor, staffs and most important were the food. I went there with two others, just to grab breakfast, the food was really good we orders more just because...lol. Don't believe me, try it! I/we were amazed. It's worth a revisit! Hanger 36, thank you. The Pumpkin Pancake Platter, excellent. Pumpkin Crepes, OMG! I had the Hangar Steak Stack Bowl...seriously! Lovely place.

When Perkins became less perky this new restaurant moved in and brought with it friendly service with exceptional food at a welcoming price point. We were seated quickly despite how many tables were packed with guests clearly enjoying their meals. The menu offers so many tempting dishes you’ll have to return to try them all. My wife enjoyed a huge plate offering a variety of breakfast meats with tots and a refreshing glass of OJ. I followed my Irish DNA and enjoyed the Dubliner Benedict that made me a member of the clean plate club. The owner stopped by and we had to share how impressed we were with both the service and the quality and taste of our food. We wished him the best for we think his restaurant will be a huge success and great addition to the area offering breakfast lunch and dinner.

This is our new and favorite "go to" restaurant for comfort food. Everything we've tried in our multiple visits has been delicious, fresh, and plentiful. The prices are more than fair, the food arrives in a very timely fashion, and the service is exemplary.

We had our "after kid party" dinner at Hangar 36, for our son's 9th Birthday, with some of our family and friends. The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect; beginning with having complimentary apps waiting for us! Our waitress, Lexi, was super friendly and attentive. Everything came to us in a timely manner and was delicious! In addition, the atmosphere was very inviting... Would recommend for your small party needs and family meals!

We are regular customers and the food is always amazing. We have ordered waffles, pancakes, eggs, and cheese burgers. The waiters and front end staff are very friendly.

Stopped for breakfast and ordered the sausage and gravy. Our waiter was nice but his experience was evident. We had four at our booth and 4 of the 4 orders were wrong. They were missing either the toast, bacon, eggs etc. My coffee came but no milk or creamers. My biscuits and gravy was a total disappointment. The biscuits were hard as a hockey puck. Apparently they were old and stale. Surprised when the cook prepared the meal didn’t notice how hard it was to cut the biscuits. The eggs and hash browns were very greasy. Maybe the oil was old but, didn’t taste fresh. We left most of the food. The manager did not charge me for the biscuits and gravy and gave us a 10% discount off the bill. The atmosphere's is modern and clean. Plenty of parking. Maybe the kitchen had a bad day.,

Just ordered on Saturday January 10th as my kids were packinh and going back to college on Sunday. We had an amazing experience from start to finish, it was our first time ordering take out. One of our family members was just diagnosed Celiac. The girl who answered the phone was awesome and reviewed the menu items that could accommodate our health issue. She explained what was cooked separately and how they handled Gluten Free/Celiac. We were so impressed. All four meals, including the one GF tasted amazing and truly delicious. Plenty in quantity and quality, so much so that I called Hangar 36 back to ask about the GF items and brands they used. We truly felt safe, food was delicious and will definitely order again! 5 Stars for service, quality and taste! We highly recommend!

Breakfast was very good! Large portions, fresh ingredients. Our server was nice and the owner was here, checking on everyone. We loved the new interior. Nice to see the muffins are still available. Hope they do well, we will be back.

Awesome breakfast/lunch spot. We came at prime time on a Sunday and they were able to seat us right away despite seeming pretty crowded. They have booths and regular tables. Our waiter Tony was super nice and service was fast. We gotta the gluten free chocolate chip pancakes and a chicken wrap. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back. They have early bird breakfast specials before 10AM Monday-Friday and lunch specials Monday-Tuesday from 3PM to close. FOR MY GF FRIENDS! : They Gf pancakes were awesome! They were fluffy and large. 3 pancakes were filling for us. $2 upcharge for GF. It looks like they also have GF wraps but I have not tried them yet.

It used to be a a Perkins... Food is very good so is the service... Staff is very nice and pleasant

You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner anytime of day. I love that kind of flexibility, and their menu makes it hard to choose just one thing. On our visit, we started with a sampler appetizer and some flavorful chicken tacos. For mains, we went big--BBQ ribs that were tender and saucy, a hearty breakfast burger, strawberry croissant French toast that tasted like dessert, and indulgent Dubai pancakes that were picture-perfect. Speaking of dessert, we couldn't leave without one... and it was the perfect sweet ending. They also have Early Bird specials and a two-for-$20 Monday night deal, so you can enjoy great food without breaking the bank. Between the theme, the menu variety, and the friendly service, Hanger 36 is a place you can bring anyone--family, friends, or even a date--and know everyone will find something they love. Bottom line: Whether you're here for a pancake "red-eye" or a rib "red-eye," Hanger 36 is always cleared for landing in my book.

Stoped in for breakfast and it was delicious! The orange just was fresh squeezed!!! Nice and cold. I ordered a western omelette. Served with a choice of potatoes & a choice of pancakes (2), toast, muffin. I chose hash browns and 2 pancakes. It's a big meal so prepare yourself. My fiancé chose the corned beef hash and eggs which also included a choice of potatoes & a choice of pancakes (2), toast, muffin. She chose 2 pancakes. In hindsight due to this large meal I should have chosen toast or a muffin and we could have split the pancakes. But I must say the pancakes were delicious.. The service was great as well. Our server was always coming by for refills and asking if we'd like anything else. I will definitely be going back in. I recommend if you're in the area to stop by. Oh and by the way, it used to be Perkins if you are from the area.

Really easy going spot with great food and great service! I loved the cheese fries hot and crispy with cheese sauce! My husband loved his crab cakes!

Stopped by here with my hubby for a beach date and service and food were great! We had the appetizer sampler and it filled us up plenty! Can't wait to come back!

Paper thin cheese burger that was over cooked. The worst was when a family came in and sat next to my table and this woman smelt like a 800lb dead tuna. How do you let someone who smells so bad into your restaurant knowing she smells so awful. I had to get up from the table and go outside it was so bad....AWFUL experience!!!!!!!!

We love Hangar 36! Hangar 36 is one of our new favorite spots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is always fresh, delicious, and perfectly cooked no matter what time of day we go. The menu has something for everyone, and the portions are generous without being over the top. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels cozy and family-oriented. It's become one of our go-to places to eat together -- highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and great service!

Breakfast was fantastic! I'm sorry it took us so long to check this place out. We will be back to try dinner Excellent. Owner was on site, checking in on folks. Changes to the decor makes it feel very homey.

What a great new place! This spot is in the same location as the Perkins used to be. I have been going to Perkins for many years and was very interested to see what the owners did with this new business, I was not disappointed. My first time visiting was on a Sunday morning on Father's Day. The menu was large with very reasonable prices. I saw some old favorites from the Perkins but revamped to their new style. The potato flip was my favorite and with the new Hanger 36 menu they added a perfectly cut up steak bites. The steak had a lot of flavor and was cooked perfectly. My son loved the shredded potato hash browns. With the breakfast items you still have the choice of the shredded potatoes or the cubes of potatoes as your "hash brown" side. We also tried the pancakes and they were perfectly done. The restaurant was packed and with any place that fills up with that many people it did get a little loud, but not too bad that I couldn't hear my family at the table. Staff was great and this place is managed well. I will certainly be back to try more of their items.

Food and service very good. They have gluten free options as well. It's always busy so arrive early to put your name in. They are very organized though. The decor is pretty cool! The only complaint I have is that they forgot the cheese on my sliders.

Let me tell you!! The Service is #1 here. I stopped on September 14,2025 to have dinner after the Beach. We arrived at 6:00 pm. The menu is FANTASTIC AND DELICIOUS. We were greeted by DILLON our young server. He was the most pleasant and educated person on there menu I've ever met. So PERSONABLE so Sweet. Never ever let us sit there without always asking if we needed anything. I hope that visitors long for dinning or breakfast recommendations go to Hangar 36. Previously Perkins. No relation. Please people go dine there the menu is excellent and the bakery items are just as good. Trust Me very very clean too.

I had the cornmeal pancakes with scrambled egg and bacon. The meal was very good. Bacon cooked to perfection. There was no wait seated upon arrival. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. I really liked this place and will eat here again.

Was better as a Perkins same owners same staff and they were great but I found the portions shrunk but the price did not maybe I expected More Will give them another try after their growing pains

Great place. Reasonable prices and very towny. Lots of locals and good people Went for breakfast and the country fried steak was amazing. Young and polite wait staff. And nice to see the owner come out and visit tables. A lost art that should be done more

Went for quick dinner with friends. Just eh. We ordered wraps and burgers. Extensive breakfast menu. Maybe they are better at that. Once and done for me

Tonight we tried hangar 36 restaurant in airport Plaza Hazlet, the food was amazing. The new menu has a lot to pick from staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are very good. We had a great meal big portions . We brought leftovers home. Can't wait to try the new breakfast items as well. The dining room and decor was a nice touch . You won't be disappointed going here just what we needed in the area.

Hangar 36 has the best pancakes in the area. They're light, fluffy, and always cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly and the place has a comfortable vibe. If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Hazlet, this is it.

Total disappointment wanted to like this place but omg. Began with chicken rice soup must have been so old the rice was a total glob in the bowl from the starch just forming a clump- hubby tomato rice same way but he ate it. Side salad was horrible lettuce was old and brown. Chicken parm was passable Altho sauce on top was def ragu out of a jar. Chicken wrap was inedible had 2 pieces of grilled chicken in it size of a cube. Maybe it's more of a breakfast place but I won't ever know! No pictures nothing was worthy

I love Hangar 36. Nice atmosphere, great service, wonderful food reasonably priced. So glad we tried it after Perkins closed. I actually like it better now.

Hanger 36 is a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, portions are plentiful, and the greatest part is the cleanliness of the entire establishment. I would recommend to everyone. R.E.

Couldn't wait to try it. Drove over an hour to get there. So worth the drive. The place is nice and bright. The staff exceptional. And the food!! Spectacular. My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and corn. He loved it. I had the grilled salmon with mustard Demi glaze. OMG! So good. Can't wait to go back and try their breakfast. I highly recommend it. I hope they never change and their quality doesn't go down due to downsizings.
